The List Of Titles For The PlayStation Classic Have Been Confirmed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
PlayStation The full list of PlayStation Classic titles have been set down now and you can see what PlayStation games you can play this holiday season Some of you may have been holding out to pre-order the PlayStation Classic before December 3rd here and that makes a bit of sense as we had so few titles actually announced for the system. There was the guarantee of twenty titles when it was announced in general and now we have the full list besides the five big titles Sony was trying to grab our attention with. They were some rather solid PlayStation titles, sure, but given how gamers are we need to see it all before we throw our cash. Read More...

PlayStation A PlayStation Classic has now been announced and will be bringing us a bunch of original PlayStation titles with the nostalgia It was truly only a matter of time before we caught wind of a PlayStation Classic actually coming to market and it looks like today is that day. Not that it is coming to market, we will have to wait until December 3rd for that, but it has been announced and we can no look forward to playing all of those old titles from the PS1 days again. All on a console that is about 45% smaller than the original PlayStation and with two controllers. That is some of the basics that will be coming with the hardware as well as the usual HDMI and USB cables that will be needed to see and power the system. Read More...

Cosplay Culture Was Out In Force At Animazement 2017
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Friday, 4th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Animazement There was a lot going on at Animazement but I will say that Animazement was the best place for cosplaying Ever since we were young many of us dreamed of growing up to become our favorite video game or anime character. I had no clue that so many years later I’d be going to conventions like Animazement dressed as a vault dweller and seeing so many others donning their amazing costumes. People draw inspiration from a variety of sources. Comics, Anime, and Video Games just to name a few. Read More...

Check Out The Gaming That Was Out At Animazement 2017
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Thursday, 3rd of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Gaming During Animazement 2017 there was a lot of gaming going on and I was out there to check out all the fun anime and gaming things Anime has long held an influence in the world of video games. During gaming's rise to prominence within mainstream culture during the 70s and 80s which was helped greatly by a little known Japanese company that is still around today, Nintendo is a global giant in video games and has been for decades. While gaming was becoming increasingly popular so has anime with shows like Mobile Suit Gundam and Speed Racers. Manga, which much anime is derived from, had been around for much longer, but its expansion into becoming animated only helped it to grow and evolve. Read More...

Review: Mega Man 10
by 345 [ Thursday, 15th of April 2010 - 03:08 PM ]
Mega Man 10 (available on XBLA, WiiWare, and PSN for 800 MS Pts/1000 Wii Pts/$10, respectively) is an incredibly fun and enjoyable entry in the classic Mega Man series. A follow-up to 2008's Mega Man 9 in more ways than just a new number, this game takes a lot of the feedback and criticism the latter had to craft one of the best sidescrolling experiences in years. While there isn't a whole lot Capcom and Inti Creates actually changed in the bigger scheme of things, Mega Man 10 features a lot of new tweaks and balance adjustments that make it far less threatening than its predecessor and more entertaining in the long run. While there are some tough areas in the game, overall I wouldn't call it difficult at all, and perhaps it is one of the most fair games in the series. Read More...

If the Nintendo Entertainment System Was Left 4 Dead
by Kevin [ Tuesday, 17th of November 2009 - 05:07 PM ]
Eric Ruth, of the aptly named EricRuthGames, has designed what is probably one of the most entertaining things related to Left 4 Dead in recent memory. With Left 4 Dead 2 upon us, and all of the bells and whistles it provides, it is hard to imagine a time before these advanced graphics engines, intelligent scenario directors, and well... four player gameplay. To remind us all of the goodness of our past, Eric decided to create an 8-bit version of the game. Read More...

Everything I Needed to Know in Life I Learned from my Atari 2600
by Brian Bentley [ Thursday, 27th of August 2009 - 03:58 AM ]
There have been countless books about self-help and what you learned in Kindergarten is all you needed to know and some Dr. Phil mumbo jumbo. I’ll tell you where I learned all I needed to know: Atari 2600. I put a ridiculous amount of time and energy into untold numbers of games and they taught me some valuable life lessons. Failure is not the end, but an opportunity. One of the first things you learned when you began playing the Atari 2600: the reset button is your friend. Read More...

Resident Evil 5 is coming March 13th here in the US and today we bring you a retrospective of sorts, to get you all caught up to RE5.AS WITH THE PREVIOUS ARTICLE, THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS THAT DO NOT AFFECT THE GAMEPLAY/STORYLINE.Before we get off to the retrospective I just want to clear up some more questions I had gotten asked about RE5:Are there typewriters in the game to save your information? No, the only saving is via an autosave system that save after every checkpoint and chapter end. The checkpoints are fairly well setup and save before most major battles. Read More...

Metroid: Zero Mission
by [ Sunday, 4th of May 2008 - 12:52 AM ]
My review and opinions on Metroid: Zero Mission for the GBA. Because I still play teh old games.       So there I sat, in my Super Mario pajama pants and my Lrn2play T-shirt, having beaten the final boss in Metroid: Zero Mission and hurdled the last two space pirates to jump into a small ship and narrowly escape the self destructing Mothership... thereby beating the game. I allowed the credits to roll, only to discover I had found only 56% of the items in the game, and it took 4 and a half hours for me to beat (it's a hard game... Read More...
