Yes, you read that correctly. For the low, low price of $35, you too can play games that are over 15 years old on your PC. First off, I can feel my quad-core processor and 2GB video card already going into atrophy. Secondly, that is a ridiculous price. Let's say for a second that my original Sega Genesis wasn't working. Even in that case, I'm not spending $35 when I can find find examples of getting almost four times the number of games for almost half the price (here&here).
I understand that on the Wii's Virtual Console, you can get $6 per game, but that's just not going to fly on Steam. I cannot in good conscience tell you to wait until it's up on Midweek Madness or a Weekend Deal unless it's $10. Perhaps at Christmastime again Steam will have widely discounted sales and this pack will be among those on sale. Even then, I say plop down another ten and get a lot more games...that is, unless you're just dying to three games not in the console versions (Crack Down, Shadow Dancer and Space Harrier II).
