Some new updates are here for Toxic Crusaders to give us a sign of what is to come later in the year when Toxic Crusaders releases
It has been a bit since we had a solid update for Toxic Crusaders, unless you have been lucky enough to go to various smaller gaming conventions around the United States. That is where Retroware has been showing off the bulk of the game updates, changes, and allowing some to play the demo live with them. A demo that PC gamers can pick up and experience as we have already here. That was a while ago, though, and we need something more to get us ready for Toxic Crusaders. Especially since it was originally slated for a release in 2024 and, well, we are past all of that. Here is the next major update for the game with part of it being the game will not launch until Q2 of 2025 now.
As they always do, the delay for Toxic Crusaders does suck, but it does offer the team more time to perfect the game we are looking forward to as well as add in some new features we might not have expected. Especially as it looks like they have upscaled the original cartoon all of this is based on so that it will be in the mix for those who enjoy their physical media out there. Along with that, as this is a sequel of sorts to that cartoon, it does allow for the team to get Toxic Crusaders fully voiced and make sure all of the characters and villains in the game feel unique from all of the other beat-em-up titles that have come out based on 80s and 90s IPs. Along with all of the other basic updates and changes they could implement to make it the best game for us all after the demo dropped.
