Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is now over and we can kick back and finally appreciate all of those video games we have out there new and old. Most of what we had this week skewed to the new side, thankfully, and many of which we do not have long to wait to get to experience. Sure, Sifu and Gollum might be hitting us in 2022 now, but we still have Dying Light 2 and Call Of Duty to keep things going. Among many other video games that will also be dropping soon and not in the coming year or years. Read More...

Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go and finish out his week with a few of those stragglers that we out there from the previous big weeks for all of these video games. Not to say that we did not have some good ones here, but after loads were blown during E3, it usually dries up and we have to go about picking up the rest of the pieces out there. Like for Pathfinder, Chernobylite and Doom Eternal. They did have some great showings during the event but these following weeks will always be a bit slower for the big news in video games. Blood Bowl 3 Puts All Of The Elves Out On The Field Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of June 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Blood Bowl The next Blood Bowl team spotlight is here with the Elven Union taking the stage for Blood Bowl 3 now Another team is getting tossed out there for Blood Bowl 3 here and now we have the Elven Union taking the field to show off more of what they can do. Just as the name of the team implies, this is the one that is filled with all of those pesky elves with Cyanide giving them a little more grace instead of brutality in the mix. Not that they will not have any of that, this is a Blood Bowl game, but it definitely looks like they will be able to out-maneuver most out there that they come across. That will, obviously, come with its own drawbacks but depending on the style of player you are it can be mitigated. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of June 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was one whirlwind of a week there and we barely made it through a small slice of those video games that were announced, updated, or just plain shown off here during this year's virtual E3. While it was a bit easier to cover in this manner, it did feel like there are still so many other games to talk about. I am just glad we were able to get to Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy, The Outer Worlds 2, and Redfall here. Read More...

The Outer Worlds 2 Is Announced In The Most Spectacular Way At E3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
The Outer Worlds The Outer Worlds saga will continue with the announcement for The Outer Worlds 2 during this year's virtual E3 events The headline here kind of says it all, as The Outer Worlds 2 is officially going to be a title in the future after getting added into the mix of the other Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC games we had during the Xbox event for E3 this year. Obsidian Entertainment made another huge splash with this new IP the first time around, so it was more or less expected to see that they would be bringing us all more for it. I know I sunk a whole lot of time into The Outer Worlds before and am interested to see where it all goes from there. Read More...

E3 2021’s Broadcast Schedule Is Ready To Help You Plan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
E3 The upcoming schedule for E3 2021 is now set down so we can all figure out how we will be trying to enjoy E3 this year No matter how you feel about E3, it looks like the gaming convention is poised to take place again this year again. Given that we are still in the final phases of the global pandemic here in the States, this one will be an all-digital event again but with a bit more planning than there was in 2020. Given the extra time that they have had for E3 2021, it should be a bit smoother than we saw before but that is still yet to be seen. Thankfully, we now know when we can start to see things in some form of official capacity out of the event and not just keep trolling the developer's and publisher's social accounts to see what they might be dropping. Alfred Hitchcock — Vertigo Is Getting Made Into A Video Game Too
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of June 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Vertigo Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo will be getting a video game version with Vertigo taking us down the narrative in a different way One more classic film is getting the video game treatment with the announcement of Alfred Hitchcock — Vertigo that we have here now. A new title coming out of Pendulo Studios and Microids for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC at some point during this year here. As the name dictates, it will follow some of the story from the film version of Vertigo in some form of inspiration of it all. So do not expect to see a shot for shot remake of the film for this game, but something more along the lines of just using the mental aspects of it all to direct it all down a path. Read More...
