It Has Been Revealed That We Will Get a Shared Experience In How 2 Escape

How 2 Escape

A new simulation title, How 2 Escape, is revealed and it looks like How 2 Escape will use both mobile and traditional platforms to do it

If you are a fan of escape rooms, of sorts, then get ready to see how you can move things into a new digital space with the reveal for How 2 Escape. This is the upcoming title from BreakFirst Games and Just For Games that will give us a bit of that fun in a new simulation game. Not only on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC but also where we will have to mix in our mobile devices to help it all along. A two-for-the-price-of-one kind of thing with How 2 Escape having a companion app that will be needed by another player to help get us all through the various areas and rooms we find ourselves locked in. A nice way to keep things fresh and push a few things forward when it comes to co-op gaming out there indeed.

Not much for How 2 Escape is out there, but as you will be able to see in the following teaser, one player will be locked in an area that will have to go through various steps and puzzles to escape. Some of these puzzles will require the free companion app for another player to solve puzzles, give information, or various other tasks to aid one another. Meaning that one will not specifically be a passive player in all of this as we have seen in other games, but How 2 Escape will keep both players engaged. It will be interesting to see if both need to be in the same room for this all to function well, but that could also be seen as cheating if one and the other are supposed to be separate when the game is in full swing.

Do you think this will all work if both players are remote or will there need to be some real-world communication to help things flow forward? How many different locations will we find ourselves in at launch and will it be able to keep expanding over time? Give us all of those juice comments down below and then feel free to discuss it all.
