by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of August 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is over now and we can all focus a bit more on our video games that we have had sitting at home this whole time. At least for those that work a "normal" work schedule out there. No matter the case, we had a solid week with so many things for the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy game out there and video games like Evil Genius 2 heading to the consoles now. It was also an oddly filled week with more VR titles like Blair Witch and Synth Riders heading out there for us all to enjoy if we have the hardware. Read More...

Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Went Through Some Fun Character Designs
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of August 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Guardians A new developer video for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy offers up some insight to the new Guardians character designs we have It looks like we have answers to one of the burning questions that some may have had for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy; why are the character designs so different from what we have seen over the recent years? The short answer is that this is Eidos-Montréal’s version of it all and they should be able to make their game without needing to stick to the fan head cannon out there. We also have a longer answer too, and that dives a bit more into the process and thoughts behind each of the Guardians out there beyond making them look cool. Read More...

Fury Is Heading To The Switch With Darksiders III Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of August 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Darksiders Darksiders III will be hitting the Switch here soon with the core game and all the DLC that hit Darksiders III up to now It only took a bit of time, but it looks like Darksiders III will finally be hitting the Switch here. Well, there is a little bit more of a wait, as it will be hitting the console on September 30th but it has been close to three years since it first dropped so it is a shorter time to wait. That way we can have all of the Darksiders fun from THQ Nordic to experience out there. It still holds up quite a bit for me and it does look like a whole new generation will be able to get into it all. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of August 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Guardians A new gameplay segment for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy is here to show off how and whom the Guardians are trying to con After the first mission trailer for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy popped up out there, I know I was curious to see how things could play out and expand down the line. For those that do not remember, this was the bit of the trailer to showed off the dialog options and how the game could shift based on our choices. Now, we get to see what Eidos-Montréal has in line for the Guardians after that choice and if we opted to put Groot in the big box to hand over to the collector we are dealing with. Read More...

Fatal Frame: Maiden Of The Black Water Will Be Snapping Us Back In October
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of July 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Fatal Frame The release date for Fatal Frame: Maiden In Black Water is set down in October now and we can gear up to take on the spirits in Fatal Frame once more It looks as if our assumptions paid off and now we know we will be seeing Fatal Frame: Maiden Of The Black Water launching again on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC in October. To be specific, October 28th will be when we can expect to see this one out there and aim to take more pictures of the restless dead with our super camera. That is a way over-simplification for the idea of the gameplay for Fatal Frame but does cover the basics for those completely new to the IP and looking to have a good horror game for the Halloween season. Kena: Bridge Of Spirits Is Delayed Until September Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of July 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Kena A new delay has hit Kena: Bridge Of Spirits that will push Kena out another month and into September now The wait is going to have to continue for Kena: Bridge Of Spirits, as there is now a delay of the game announced here. August 24th will no longer be the day to look at for the launch on the PS4, PS5, and PC but now we are looking at September 21st for the release. This is something that Ember Lab is sad about, but should make Kena a better game for all of us to experience and enjoy. Also, it is only a single month and not a year of delays, so we have that little bonus to take in and be happy about too. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That is a wrap on another fun week with all kinds of video games out there. Some had some big news and others just slight updates for us all once more. It was also nice to see smaller titles like Faraday Protocol and Fracked get some fun additions in there and were able to hang with other video games like Dead Space and Deathloop that had some solid highlights. Yes, I did say Dead Space if you missed that before. We are getting a remake and was definitely one of the bigger tidbits of the week here. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of July 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Finally, we are back to having an average week of things with all of these video games and their announcements. Not that we do not enjoy being bombarded with news and updates, it is hard to appreciate them all and see smaller titles like MADiSON and Chernobylite have a chance to shine. It also gave us that well-needed time to get those reviews for Ragnaröck and Minute Of Islands out to you. Both are vastly different video games, indeed, and worth some time to check them out on the site to see if they will be your jam. Read More...

Blood Bowl 3 Heads Further Into The Fantasy Football Realm Of Things
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of July 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Blood Bowl A new campaign video for Blood Bowl 3 is out there to show off the various Blood Bowl sponsors and how they will link into the game There have been a few silly ads for Blood Bowl 3 before now, and I am sure there will be more, but now we get to have a nice little taste of the different campaigns we might get to see in the game. Not in the way of a story mode, that we can tell, but in the way of ad campaigns that Cyanide will have in the game's universe to help sell the whole "fantasy football" aspect that Blood Bowl has been over the years. Not in the traditional way that stereotypical jocks go about to have their fun while pretending to not be into nerd culture. Read More...
