by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Another new gameplay feature for Guitar Hero Live has been announced in the way of premium shows that can unlock even more items in Guitar Hero Live So far we've seen a few of the cool new ways that Guitar Hero Live will be changing the franchise as well as the genre of game. There are so many other things that could go on with the rhythm genre but here we are getting what are called Premium Shows for Guitar Hero Live. FreeStyleGames are trying to think outside the box and here we are getting playable concert footage or debut music videos just for the game. Tremor Now Makes The Ground Shake In Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The final character for the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack has been released as Tremor is now playable in Mortal Kombat X as of today Today is the day as all of those who purchased the Kombat Pack for Mortal Kombat X will now get their final character and DLC for the game in the way of Tremor. NetherRealm showed Tremor off at EVO over the weekend and we had a nice gameplay trailer for the character but there wasn't a good breakdown of the variations to the character just yet. That is of course until the most recent Kombat Kast where the team showed Tremor in use for Mortal Kombat X and all of his variations. One of which is something completely new to the game and it adds a great variant to the core gameplay of Mortal Kombat X. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new listing shows that Mad Max is getting a Post-Apocalypse Edition that includes Fury Road and Mad Max license plates Those hoping for a great Mad Max collector's edition or premium edition can now look forward to the Post-Apocalypse Edition…at least if you live in Australia for now. Yes, this is a new addition for Avalanche Studios Mad Max and this edition comes packaged with the hit Mad Max: Fury Road as well as a few other goodies. All of which can be seen on the Australian EB Games pre-order page for Mad Max. This is why I state only in Australia for now as it has yet to show up in any other region yet but it would make sense that Warner Bros. Read More...

The Many Different Ways Just Cause 3 Was Played At E3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We finally have that Just Cause 3 E3 demo to look at but quite a few different ways it could have played out as Just Cause 3 wants to I know I missed out on the Just Cause 3 E3 demo when the expo was going on so it is nice that we are now getting to look at it about a month later. Not only are we getting a look at it but we are also getting a guided tour from Avalanche Studios on what is going on as well as the many ways you can approach missions and events in Just Cause 3. Not to mention all of the crazy explosions, murder, and mayhem that we should be looking at the game to provide too. It wouldn't be a Just Cause game without all of that right and Just Cause 3 is not going to be a slouch in the franchise at all. Read More...

Guitar Hero Live Gets Ten More Tracks & A Pre-Order Incentive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of July 2015 - 07:03 PM ]
Ten more tracks are added to the ever growing list of Guitar Hero Live songs and now there is also a pre-order incentive for those who want to secure Guitar Hero Live before launch Because we all know that we need a solid Guitar Hero Live set-list to work with it looks like we have ten more tracks to add to the list of songs we can rock out to on October 20th. FreeStyleGames has their work cut out for them to do this but as long as they keep the tunes flowing for Guitar Hero Live I doubt anyone will take up issue unless the controllers begin failing out of the box. I don't think that would be their issue and more Activision's but still… None the less we have ten more tracks listed out for us all when Guitar Hero Live launches and we have that wonderful list just a bit further down for you to look at and listen to the tracks in question. Guitar Hero Live Is Bringing Some Hero Power Into The Mix
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of July 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
Star Power is a thing of the past as Guitar Hero Live brings new Hero Powers to the franchise and we have the details on how they will change Guitar Hero Live We would have been a bit daft to think that Guitar Hero Live wouldn't be bringing back Star Power in some way or another. For those not fully up to snuff on the Guitar Hero lingo that would be the extra boost you get when you tilt the guitar during gameplay. Of course it is making a comeback but it looks like FreeStyleGames is bringing something new into the mix for it in Guitar Hero Live. So not only is Activision pushing a new controller on us but it looks like more new gameplay as well. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Those who missed out on Gauntlet when it relaunched on PC will now get to play it on the PS4 with the Gauntlet: Slayer Edition I knew it was only a matter of time for the latest Gauntlet title to make it over to the consoles from PC and it looks like the first leap is with Gauntlet: Slayer Edition coming to the PS4. It only took about a year but Arrowhead Game Studio and Warner Bros. has been able to bring the dungeon brawler to a larger audience on August 11th. Read More...

A Bit Of Story & A Trailer For Minecraft: Story Mode Have Released
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
During Minecon 2015 the first bit of story for Minecraft: Story Mode, as well as a trailer, have been released with all the Minecraft goodness included We've waited patiently for anything new for Minecraft: Story Mode since its first announcement and now we have a bit more to work with. It would make sense that Telltale would wait until Minecon to release all of this as it is the Minecraft convention and all. I never in this life cycle thought I would say that we needed or had a want for a Minecraft convention but we do and this is where Minecraft: Story Mode was first shown off to the world. That and the internet but that should be a given. Read More...

Fallout Shelter May Be Coming To Android Real Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of July 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
It looks like the wait is over for those Android users whom want to get their hands on Fallout Shelter as it may be hitting the Play Store next month Earlier this week we had a nice review for Fallout Shelter up on the site. Dakota dug into the good, the ugly, and the bad aspects of Fallout Shelter with one of which being the fact that it has yet to make the jump over to the Android devices. Something that we all think should have been there since Bethesda Game Studios first announced the game. We all want to have the nice distraction as we wait for Fallout 4 to finally launch but so far it's only been about half of the mobile gamers out there who have gained access to it. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
It looks like some gameplay for the upcoming Predator DLC for Mortal Kombat X has made its way online so we can all see the apex Predator killing all that Mortal Kombat X has to offer If you couldn't wait until sometime in July to see Predator in action for Mortal Kombat X then boy are you in luck. It looks like there is about 20 minutes or so of said gameplay out there in the wild that NetherRealm and Warner Bros. have yet to shut down in their tracks. Read More...

Review — Fallout Shelter
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 29th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
We sit back And Review Fallout Shelter. This of course being the nice little distraction on mobile devices until Fallout 4 releases. Let's see if it is worth our time or not This won't be an overly long review since Fallout Shelter is only of a mobile game but they are a lot of good things I like about this game so I am going to start with the few small gripes I have with Fallout Shelter. To start things off Fallout Shelter is a little buggy and crashes randomly on my girlfriend's iPad that is only a few years old. I am sure this is an easy fix and Bethesda Game Studios will get it fixed in short order when a new update is rolled out. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Guitar Hero Live
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Guitar Hero Live In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Given the fact that Guitar Hero Live was announced and slightly shown off recently from FreeStyleGames and Activision it wouldn't be E3 without getting to see it in action. Especially since the controller scheme has been changed up as well as a bit of the gameplay. Of course it was on the show floor and ready for play at E3 or you wouldn't be reading this before the October 20th release date on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and Wii U. Those and the mobile platforms as well but for what we were able to see Guitar Hero Live was running on the PS4 and we had some real good hands on. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Mad Max
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Mad Max In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It One of the games that helped start E3 off with a bang, at least for me, was Mad Max from Avalanche Studios. It was revealed back in 2013 before the new film was even a sparkle in our eyes by Avalanche Studios and it captured my attentions back then so I was overly excited to get to see how Mad Max has progressed over the years of development. It launches on September 1st for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC so hopefully it has made it to a state where we can remove the idea it is a Mad Max film tie-in title. Luckily I was able to lay hands on Mad Max at E3 so I can report back how it has progressed and if it will be worth our time in a few months here. Read More...

E3 2015 Impressions — Fallout 4
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 16th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
One of the big titles out of the BE3 press event was Fallout 4. Here's what I think about Fallout 4 and what was shown for the franchise Bethesda's first game conference was a huge success. I was enthralled from start to finish. All the games Bethesda showed off looked amazing and I can't wait to play them. Though for myself and many fans around the world the game we most looked forward to was Fallout 4. We can all collectively agree that we weren't disappointed. Read More...
