Let's Lower The Chaos With More Dishonored 2 Gameplay

A second video of Dishonored 2's Clockwork Mansion has been released so we can see how Dishonored 2's stealth play works a bit

Last week we had a chance to see some new Dishonored 2 gameplay that took us through an area called the Clockwork Mansion in the game. We had both a run by what looked like a novice player and then one run by Arkane Studios directly; both of which caused a whole lot of chaos and lacked any finesse to get through it all. It looks like Bethesda wanted to make sure that all of us looking forward to Dishonored 2, that have different style of play, get a taste of the mission as now we have it running through yet again but on Low Chaos mode. Mode being a general term and not a setting here.

For the most part there doesn't look to be many new abilities and powers used here that we have yet to see in Dishonored 2 so far. They are of course being used in a different style so as to keep the alerts and combat to almost nothing but it is interesting to see that we can "hack" the clockwork guards here and that it isn't considered setting off an alarm to be spotted why knocking everyone out with Domino. If that links into a "Ghost" style of play that will make it a lot easier to achieve but I have a feeling that won't be the case here. It will keep alarms and more guards from flooding the area though.

Dishonored 2 — Clockwork Mansion Low Chaos

Take a Shadow Walk on the quieter side with a stealthy, Low Chaos journey through the marvel of mad science that is the Clockwork Mansion. Watch as Emily uses her new tools and supernatural abilities to deftly evade the monstrous Clockwork Soldiers (or in one case, completely rewire it to make it complacent) and non-lethally take out the guards as she works to free Anton Sokolov and secure his passage out of the building, and thereby Delilah’s clutches.

It is also interesting to note that there was no need to kill the main target in this mission to get the captive free. I know it states that we have to go back and kill the target but I'm wondering if that is just how the dialog is set up in the mission or if we'll be able to "handle" Dishonored 2 villains in the same way as before. You know, like having them set up to be shipped off to a prison colony instead of just plain murdered. The dialog here doesn't suggest that but given the huge part of Dishonored being that you could do that, I am sure it is there somewhere.
