In his message on Irrational's official site he stated that he wants to go back to having a smaller team that creates narrative driven game for the core gaming audience. Much like how the first BioShock game played. "While I'm deeply proud of what we've accomplished together, my passion has turned to making a different kind of game than we've done before. Oh, How I Wish Bayonetta 2 Wasn't A Wii U Exclusive
by Julia Schoebel [ Tuesday, 18th of February 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
There is a new trailer for Bayonetta 2, a game that is exclusive to the Wii U only. This is going to hurt the sale of the game… It really hurts that the title of this new Bayonetta 2 trailer is titled Did you miss me? because I do. I also will miss you when you finally launch exclusively on the Wii U this summer. It still breaks my heart that Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive as I don't think it fits the console; also the fact that I don't own one and don't think that Bayonetta 2 is going to change my opinion on owning one. But enough of the sad stuff. Read More...

Evolve Is Not Really Evolving Multiplayer, But It Works
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of February 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
We have some new details on Evolve, the upcoming 4v1 shooter from Turtle Rock Studios. Trailer and screen shots galore. So when I hear a game is going to be multiplayer heavy as is the case with Evolve, I normally cringe. I also usually think of just giving a blanket pass on the title as well. But with what I have been seeing and reading from Evolve my interest has been piqued again. Just in case you don't know what the game is about here's a short history lesson. Originally it was going to be published by THQ and was called Wild. Read More...

We had a few new writers contribute. Hells, there was even a day where it seemed that all we were getting in the news was from Square Enix. You know the day I am talking about. Well, sometimes things fall through the cracks or are blocked on Facebook as per The Zuckerberg initiative. Read More...

Here Is A Little More For The Evil Within Straight From Japan
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 6th of February 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
We have a new PS4 trailer fresh from Japan and it happens to have a bit more from The Evil Within. Or Psycho Break as it is called over there. Hey horror fans! If you are like me then you have been keeping an eye on The Evil Within or Psycho Break coming from Tango Gameworks and Bethesda. It is also the title being helmed by Shinji Mikami of Resident Evil fame. You should know this by now as it has been covered on the site multiple times already. I guess that makes all of this a bit redundant and useless. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of February 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
It has just been revealed that Murdered Soul Suspect will be coming to next gen consoles as well. Also, we have a lead as to the official launch date for the game. So yesterday (2/3/14) it was revealed that Murdered Soul Suspect would be coming to the Xbox One. In fact, there was a nice long video showing off the game on Microsoft's latest baby. There were also a few other cool things that were shown that I will bring up in a bit. What was less gone over is the fact that Murdered Soul Suspect is also slated for a PS4 release as well but that wouldn't come from the Xbox One video but the latest from Airtight Games; which I have also included below. We sit down and review Stick It To The Man!. Does it really do what the title implies though? Who hasn't wished they had to ability to read people's minds, or moves things with their minds, or rip someone's teeth out of their mouth and put them into someone else's mouth? Ok, maybe no one imagined doing the last part, but now you won't have to. All this and so much more is now possible in Stick It To The Man! Microsoft Picks Up Gears Of War. What Does That Mean?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of January 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Microsoft purchases the Gears Of War franchise from Epic Games this week and tasks Black Tusk Studios to continue the franchise. What does this exactly mean though? All of you Gears Of War fans should be dancing in the streets right now. While yes the news is just about Microsoft picking up the franchise it also makes it completely obvious that there will be a Gears Of War coming to the Xbox One and going forward. So the franchise isn't just dead in the water after the lackluster acceptance of Gears Of War: Judgment. So really good news for those fans as the franchise is going to have a chance to get back to its success from GoW3. Read More...

A Not-So-Exclusive Look At The Burial At Sea: Episode Two
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of January 2014 - 04:48 PM ]
The second episode of the Burial At Sea DLC of BioShock Infinite has a new and 'Exclusive' trailer out. If you don't care about minor spoilers then check it out. I will still go on record and state that I was not a big fan of the BioShock Infinite story but the Burial At Sea DLC has kind of attracted my interest. Not because it is back in rapture, but it seems to have what the first two titles had; an interesting and creative storyline. Granted I have yet to play the DLC yet and only have the trailers to work off so I could be way wrong. Read More...
