This Week In Video Games 11/23/20 — 11/27/20
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 28th of November 2020 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This week did not go exactly as expected for all of those video games out there. Well, at least as we expected over here where we assumed it would be rather quiet given the holidays that were going on throughout. That is not to say that we did not get some great updates for various video games out there yet again. Cyberpunk 2077 is still coming in a few weeks and we have more to spoil there, we also had some new skins for Mortal Kombat 11 and gameplay for Evil Genius 2 with a little more fun with Hitman 3. Watch Dogs: Legion Will Not Be Online Until Next Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of November 2020 - 08:00 PM ]
Watch Dogs The online update for Watch Dogs: Legion has been delayed out to next year to make the multiplayer Watch Dogs fun a bit better If you were hoping to be playing Watch Dogs: Legion online next month, then get ready for a little bit of disappointment to come your way. It looks like Ubisoft will not be able to get that update to us all next month as planned and we will have to wait until 2021 to see it go live. When in 2021? Well, that is still up in the air for now but just know it will be hitting Watch Dogs: Legion then now. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 7th of November 2020 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This has been one hells of a week and I am not talking just in the realm of video games. We will not dive into the other stuff out there as we are a nice distraction from all of that, but that is not to say it did not take its toll. Thankfully, we saw a whole lot more for the upcoming DLC for Mortal Kombat 11 and the upcoming Spider-Man: Miles Morales to raise some spirits out there. There is also the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to look forward to now that we have had some time with Watch Dogs: Legion. Read More...

Review — Watch Dogs: Legion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of November 2020 - 08:00 PM ]
Watch Dogs We sit down and review Watch Dogs: Legion. The next and most ambitious title in the hacking franchise. Here is our review of Watch Dogs: Legion We have all waited after so much time and Watch Dogs: Legion is finally here and out there for us all to experience. The third main title in the franchise with this one being touted as one of the more ambitious titles that Ubisoft is placing out there. The biggest culprit for that claim being that and character we see in this world of Watch Dogs can be our main character and that can shift as we hack our way through the story. A nice selling point, but how does it all handle at the end of the day. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of October 2020 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to put another week to bed and then dive into more of those video games out there. We had a whole lot this week to look at from Watch Dogs: Legion to Call Of Duty that it will be nice to have a break here. Not that we are going to get much of a break out there with all of the upcoming and already released video games we have to play too. That and the DLC for Doom Eternal and the upcoming stuff for Mortal Kombat 11, we are going to be busy all around. Read More...

The Class Is Back In For Co-Op In Watch Dogs: Legion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of October 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Watch Dogs The next video in the Watch Dogs: Legion classroom series is here to dive into the changes we will see in Watch Dogs’ Co-Op play Here we go with more of the marketing for Watch Dogs: Legion with a little more gameplay to look at. Nothing all that groundbreaking in terms of the gameplay as it is a lot more of what Ubisoft has given us already, but it is something more to take in for the game. We are just under a week out from October 29th and given how big multiplayer and Co-Op could be in Watch Dogs: Legion, it is nice to have something else along those lines. Even if it feels a bit cheesy and silly to have for a game that could be tackling some real-world ethical issues in cyberspace. Read More...

Watch Dogs: Legion Has Another Class In Session Before Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Watch Dogs If you have missed out on the basics for Watch Dogs: Legion then we have a new video showing off various gameplay aspects coming to Watch Dogs: Legion We are under two weeks before Watch Dogs: Legion hits us all and it feels like the real gameplay showing will be slowing down to keep us all in the dark from what is going on in the game so we can fully enjoy it. That does not mean that Ubisoft will not stop pushing out new videos to keep us excited and thinking of the game up to launch. This is why we are back with another "101" style video for Watch Dogs: Legion to make sure we know as much as we need to for the A. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We finally had a week where we did not have an overwhelming negative thing going on for any of our video games. More Of The Story & Post-Launch Content Is Detailed For Watch Dogs: Legion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of October 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Watch Dogs A new story trailer for Watch Dogs: Legion is here with news that post-launch content will feature more from Watch Dogs’ past There always seems to be just something else going on in the world of Watch Dogs: Legion and that is what we have here with the latest story trailer to take in. We will still have those horrible heads of corruption in London that we will be taking down, but now it seems like there is and an even bigger threat that is just allowing these lesser ones to do their thing. Kind of a reverse conspiracy theory, if you will, as Ubisoft shows us Zero Day in the Watch Dogs world that is causing all of the issues out there. Read More...

Watch Dogs: Legion Has An Alum Coming Back For The Fight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of September 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Watch Dogs New information for Watch Dogs: Legion just dropped with new looks at the game and one of the Watch Dogs protagonists coming back into the mix The latest Ubisoft Forward has gone down and we had a whole lot to take in for Watch Dogs: Legion this time around. With just over a month until October 29th, there is still a lot that they can show off and get us excited about. Something that they dug into a bit more when it comes to the recruitment process in Watch Dogs: Legion and a few more of the characters we can find out in the mix. Given that we should be able to recruit everyone we see, that is one huge list to go through but I guess this is why we get a few more styles of characters and not really fully named ones here. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to epically wrap another week of video games and dive into a good chunk of Marvel’s Avengers fun for this weekend. That would be one of the bigger things to look at for the week as well as enjoy if you pre-ordered on the PS4. That is not to say that the excitement for the Suicide Squad game or the new looks at Outriders and Hitman 3 going VR were not cool enough. It is just saying that we have some video games to enjoy in the mix of just the news this week. Read More...

Watch Dogs: Legion Takes Us On A Mission To Help A Whistleblower
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of August 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Watch Dogs New footage for Watch Dogs: Legion is out there to help highlight one of the Watch Dogs missions we will get to undertake when playing the game If you want to see a mission from start to end, mostly, in Watch Dogs: Legion then you are in luck as it looks like new footage for the game is out there. It is a rather short mission if it is to be believed but something to show off just how some of these new features Ubisoft is putting in the game will flow. The bigger one being the fact we can recruit anyone and swap between them for any mission as needed. Read More...

The Resistance Starts With Us In Watch Dogs: Legion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of July 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Watch Dogs A new trailer for Watch Dogs: Legion is here to give us a little more insight into where the world of Watch Dogs has gone to One more trailer is out there for Watch Dogs: Legion for us all and we get one more look at how the resistance will rise in the game. This would be the side of the conflict that we are going to be playing on more or less. That is, unless Ubisoft has been pulling a fast one on us and we will be able to recruit more than grunts on the other side of things here. That would be an interesting twist to Watch Dogs: Legion if that was possible, but I highly doubt it will happen. Read More...
