Tired of playing Left4Dead already? Need to play something new? Well how about the demo for the next installment with Left4Dead2. On October 27th, Valve will be prepared to released an early access of the demo to those who pre-order the game via participating retailers or Steam. It had been months since I last turned my Wii on, but that all changed with a single release for the system. Muramasa: The Demon Blade has arrived from Ignition Entertainment and I couldn’t have a better reason to utilize my Wii. One of the more curious titles of the year has presented a demo for PS3 owners and Xbox owners. For the uninitiated, Wet is an action game that combines shooting and swordplay with all kinds of crazy acrobatics. The main character, Rubi voiced by Elisha Dushku, carries twin pistols and a sword and does all of the fun filled John Woo-esque moves that have become standard fare in most action titles these days. One of the better elements of the gunplay is that she automatically target an additional enemy which allows some ease and versatility with your firefight strategy. She also has the ability to fuse attacks together, and your acrobatics aren't limited to flipping off of a wall, but you can substitute a person instead of the aformentioned wall. Read More...

Final Fantasy XIII Demo While the official release date for the Demo for FFXIII isn't slated until, well today in Japan (3amish on the 16th as of this post), it didn't stop some people from getting their copies a bit early. Xbox Live users who are fans of both Guitar Hero and Metallica can go on the Xbox Live marketplace and download the newly uploaded demo for the upcoming Guitar Hero Metallica.The demo features four playable songs, two of which are Metallicas, the other two are by Alice and Chains and Queen. Warner Bros. Interactive has just announced a single player demo for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin for the PS3, 360 and PC on January 22nd. Microsoft's Robbie Bach announced during their company's CES Keynote that a demo for Halo Wars will be available for download February 5th. Robbie has also announced that instead of Halo Wars being released March 3rd, they are now moving it to February 28th. Japanese gaming mag Famitsu revealed that 360 owners will be getting a co-op demo of RE5 next week Friday, December 5th. The demo will have two stages to play through, most likely the ones we've been seeing in the trailers. You don't have to play co-op if you don't want to, there's also a single player option. The article also states that the Japan version of RE5 is being pushed back a week from March 5th to March 12th. For us in the US, it's still on schedule for Friday the 13th. Read More...
