by Jesse [ Saturday, 7th of February 2009 - 06:18 AM ]
Though Famitsu Magazine shelled out plenty of details regarding the upcoming Street Fighter IV downloable content, all the information pertained to Japan specifically. Today however, Capacom released official news regarding what content would be coming to North America and at what prices. Firstly, the free Championship Mode expansion set to be released shortly after the game’s launch will contain the aforementioned replay mode which will allow players to save and upload videos of their fights. The online tournament play will receive a few modifications as well as a new points system will be used to determine a player’s skill level which will help in creating fairer match-ups. Read More...

The video looks very legit and is too good to be fake, but I'll let you be the judge. Read More...

Darkness Creeps Into The Void
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of January 2009 - 10:04 PM ]
Dark Void Game Play Videos Not much to really report on here. The short and skinny of it is that Capcom has brought out some more game play videos for their new Sci-Fi Action-Adventure game. All of which are videos that got glanced over by all the other big things that Capcom was bringing out at CES. But what kind of a news guy would I be if I let something like this fall to the curbside. So with no further gilding the lilly, such a great phase, I will give you some more footage of Dark Void. Kijuju... Once again, we are hit with a new piece of the Resident Evil 5 marketing. All with another bizarre press release, shown below, to get more out there and drive up excitement for this game. Which works for me. Even though it is very weird to open up my email to just get things like this. I'm surprised it has yet to be pushed onto my spam folder. Kijuju... They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju…They are in Kijuju… Weird right? An American Early Evil
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of January 2009 - 06:13 PM ]
Resident Evil 5 Demo Premiers Exclusively on Xbox 360 Starting January 26 Who says that Capcom doesn't care about us Americans? They do. They just have a specific time frame for giving us slathering fans of Resident Evil what we want. This time in two stages. Granted anyone who has a web connection or knows how to download things outside of the US region have already had their hands on these, but you will be able to get them though XBox Live without having to work around language issues. On the 16th, that's in 2 days from now, Live users can download the game trailer shown at the Tokyo Game show last year, 2008. It has been around the net for a bit, but there is something about watching videos on a nice large TV over a little youtube window. Read More...

Evil Xbox Vs. Evil PS3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of January 2009 - 01:58 AM ]
Resident Evil 5 Comparison So while at the Consumers Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada over the weekend, I actually got to play Resident Evil 5 at the Capcom party. I did not get a chance to play it while displayed on the side of the Planet Hollywood, which was awesome although cold, but I did get to play it where they had the two versions running side by side. Exact same monitors and connections. The only difference is the systems they were running on. Read More...

Review — Resident Evil Degeneration [DVD]
by Jesse [ Monday, 5th of January 2009 - 04:14 AM ]
Resident Evil At least Resident Evil Degeneration is better than the live-action Resident Evil movies Of the dozen or so problems that just about every Resident Evil fan has with the live-action movie trilogy, the number one thing has to be the lack of any real connection between the movies and the games other than the title. Thankfully Degeneration changes that by presenting an original story that is built right off of the core of the Resident Evil series and forms a bridge with the upcoming Resident Evil 5. Seven years after the viral outbreak that resulted in the destruction of Raccoon City, survivor Claire Redfield now working for a company called Terra-Save arrives at an airport in Harvardville.
