Officially Lost Announcement Of Snow Pirates

As I mentioned back when they did their Sneak Attack, I would keep you up to date on the Lost Planet 2 information. I also said that they were going to tell us all more come Wednesday. Well it looks like neither of us get to disappoint any of you fans of the Lost Planet franchise. All with a fancy press release and 15 new screen shots of the game. I thought it was going to be much later in the day for this, but I'll take the pleasant surprise.

This XBox title takes place 10 years after the end of the first installment showing how things have changed over the long and harsh years. Instead of controlling Wayne in this one, you will be controlling your own team of snow pirates. At first read that sounds kind of fruity, but I digress. But apparently it seems that how you travel through the game, you will see a different story kind of play out. At least that is how I take the whole "dynamic story" and "evolves" from the below release.

Now for the technical stuff. There are a great number of anchor actions added to the originals which will apparently let you gain a whole new tactical advantage over your enemies. Not to mention new enemies to use said tactics on. On top of that, they (Capcom) are toting that their new tool, MT Framework 2, will allow for one of the most extensive multiplayer campaigns seen in any shooter so far. Their words not mine. Quite something high to claim. Lets hope that they can provide what they say they can.

Here is what you really want now. SCREEN SHOTS!!!. Official Release Below Those.

Capcom has spent a considerable amount of time reviewing community feedback and incorporating it into Lost Planet 2 creating a game that both new and returning fans to the series will love. The game takes advantage of Capcom’s most highly advanced software development tool, the MT Framework 2. This is the first game to make use of the new technology – a technology that builds on the advancements made in the original MT Framework.
