It's been another week which means a few things. Only a few days until Killzone 2. The President has given a speech. It is time to delve into the world of Umbrella and Resident Evil as they recap more of the franchise for the upcoming release of the fifth game in the series. At least fifth by numbering. Like 12th by actual count. But that is just splitting hairs. Oh, and now only 2 weeks until this awesome game comes to market. March 13th. Mark that calendar if you haven't.
This weeks video focuses on some of the low parts of the Resident Evil franchise. No, not the films that I know some of you have issues with. The handheld ports and games as well as their attempt to make an online game, or two. It also covers the horrors of the first person versions of the games marking the most recent, Umbrella Chronicles, to be the best of the first person rail shooters for the franchise. Can't blame them. That game was and still is awesome.
There was one thing that was brought up that I know a lot of people had issue with all of the Resident Evil games though, the moving and shooting controls. I know this is something players have wished for for quite some time now. Here's the funny thing though, they did place it in a game of theirs that ended up flopping, Outbreak File 2. Granted not one of their best, but it ended up flopping because of the lack of online support over anything else. It could be played solo, but it looks like fans wanted that more than said control option. Interesting no?
