Possible Songs?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of July 2008 - 06:23 PM ]
Rumor: Rock Band Track List So, I thought I would go a day without talking about Rock Band again, but it would seem that it is part of the current buzz on the net. It was just announced and they are slowly trickling information to the pubic about the game. So, I'll go on record now, I'm no RB Fanboy, it's just what comes across my plate right now. I'll hook up GH as soon as I get some good information for it. Anyways. Read More...

Music... As I stated...
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of July 2008 - 05:21 PM ]
Music Sim. Updates/News Like I stated before, I am going to hook ya up with all the fun stuff I find out about the Music Simulation games. So here we go. Top Gun Theme Free on Guitar Hero III So for you patriotic people, or at least those that like to feel it, here is a new song for GHIII. Not really an anthem of the country, but at least it is one for a movie that has the strong feeling of America. That is the "Anthem" for Top Gun. Who doesn't get that un chill down their back when hearing that? Read More...

Screw The Console Wars...
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 30th of June 2008 - 07:55 PM ]
We Got Wars For Music Simulation Games So I thought I would do another fun edition of "Rock Band Wrap Up"™. Seeing as there are plenty of things to bring up today. One of them kind of major. So with no further gilding the lilly. Rock Band II Yes, it has been officially announced. No shocker there. Well outside of the fact that it is due out in September, for the XBox. Most likely October or November for the other platforms. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of June 2008 - 08:50 PM ]
Mad Catz Rock Band Instruments Releasing Next Week I found this while surfing around for news on one of my favorite games. I'm not going to go all fan boy on the RB vs. GH thing. Honestly I don't care that much about fanboyism to do so. But I digress. Looks like there are some new official controllers coming out, some of which with things I wish would have been included in the first place. Let me list them with pictures below. Check It Out Mad Catz Dual-Strummer Release: XBox - 6/22, PS3 - 7/15, Wii - 8/1 Price: $69. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of May 2008 - 06:08 PM ]
Rock Band DLC So as I've done in the past, I'm here to give ya the down low or down load on the new Rock Band DLC. I'm kind of late on this weeks, at least for those who have the XBox version of the game. But hey, at least you can see what you are getting yourself into for this week with the videos I found for ya. But the other one is the Early News of next weeks Album download. This week I am really stoked. Read More...

Rock Band Rip Off?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of May 2008 - 07:52 PM ]
The First Shot of the Drum Kit that will be used in GH 4 So Activision did what I knew they would. Try to copy it's best competitor to try and cash in on a market that they didn't get in on from the start. Yes, the pic above is of a new drum kit to be used in Guitar Hero 4. If you didn't hear already, the next Guitar Hero will have vocals and drums added into the mix. And this is the pick of the drum kit that will most likely be used in the game. Granted it is different from the Rock Band one, having three pads and two dedicated cymbals added as well. Read More...

Smashing More Pumpkins In Games
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of April 2008 - 08:01 PM ]
Rock Band DLC For 4/29/08 Not too huge of a thing going on as far as the DLC for Rock Band this week. Not too keen on the two Mother Hips songs that are coming out. They just don't sound like they will really be all that fun to play. Maybe it is just me, but meh. So kind of a slow one. But then there is one that I will most likely be getting this week. One of my favorite Smashing Pumpkin songs will be out this week too. Still waiting on some good Slipknot or Rammstein to make it on the lists for this game, or maybe even Free Bird as well. Rockin' Priest
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of April 2008 - 05:40 PM ]
Judas Priest Rock Band DLC Ok, so maybe it's just me, but I am stoked about this for two reasons. First, it's Judas Priest on Rock Band. How awesome will this be? Anyone? Or is it really just me? I know it isn't one of the harder core or more mainstream that people may be wanting, but it is something awesome. The second. This will be their first foray into releasing full albums on the game. Some More Rock PWNage
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of April 2008 - 05:12 PM ]
Rocking DLC Release For This Week Ok, so not too big of news, but here's some more stuff for download this week for Rock Band. This is mainly for the XBox, until the PSN is back up on Thursday. Then you get these and also the ones listed here and here. Wish there was more to talk about, but not much more than the releases of this. Well other than the little blurb and bustle going around about the insane price of the European price of the game. I fell bad for the PR guys at Harmonix just for the fact that they have to defend why they are saying that it is needed to be ass expensive. Read More...

Rockin' PWNAGE
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of April 2008 - 04:50 PM ]
More Rock Band News So I got a few things for all you Rockers from the US to Europe. Seems like EA drops all the info at the same time, so this will have a few Newiscles (Yes I know that's not the name. :)) here. First EA announced the pricing that the have planned for the European version of the game. It kind of sucks too. First, on May 23rd the game will only be dropped on the XBox with now solid dates for the Playstation or Wii versions. Read More...

Wii Wrock
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of March 2008 - 06:15 PM ]
Rock Band On Wii June 22nd Before I get accused of having a hard on for Rock Band, let me say...Ok well I do. But that isn't why I've posted all the news on it. There is just so much going on with this game in general. There is something new about it every week. Sometimes it almost seems like every day. But I digest. :) But as the title and the release below state, they have set the release date for the game on the Wii. Read More...

Boston Six Packer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of March 2008 - 08:34 PM ]
Boston Rock Band DLC So I like being the barer of fun news. That and I like giving you all the fun new stuff I run across. And it looks like Harmonix posted a little earlier than they usually do, the new downloads for next week. Much like the Grateful Dead pack, except it is Boston this time around. Some of the songs sound like will pretty fun on guitar. Not as brutal as Thrasher, but just another good 6 to add to the already large list of songs that are available on Rock Band. Read More...

Loads Of Band Stuff
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of March 2008 - 04:31 PM ]
Rock Band Multiple Updates Ok, so instead of doing a bunch of different write-ups on this topic, I figured I would just lump them all together into one. 3 is a charm here. First, Rock Band just announced that they have sold over 6 million DLC songs since the games release. That of course is just insane to think about. At least to me. I probably wouldn't have believed it if it wasn't for the press release that they sent out about it all. Read More...
