Eminence: Xander's Tales is a new MMORPG/TCG is coming that will bring back the fun of Triple Triad and then some If there is one thing I loved about Final Fantasy 8 it was Triple Triad and it looks like it is making a comeback with Eminence: Xander's Tales. Yep, the best feature of one game is becoming the sole mechanic behind another game, at least in a close enough way that there shouldn't be any legal battles; hopefully. It's been reported that Kingdom Hearts III won't be focused on at E3 but the latest Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX trailer has a nice little tease for us all It is starting to shape up that this E3 is going to be filled with a lot of good news followed with bad news as Kingdom Hearts III has fallen into that arena here. Reports are coming out that the game is going to be a no-show to little-show at E3 here next week. A new Kickstarter campaign has begun for Superhot from Superhot Team. Yes, you read that right. It looks like we get to see yet another Kickstarter Campaign make or break development and this time it is for a title names Superhot. This is another FPS game made by a development team that also has the same name of the game; Superhot Team. It looks like this team is looking to get funding so they can finish what they started during 7DFPS. Harmonix has kicked off a Kickstarter project to try and bring Amplitude to the PS3 and PS4 due to fan request. Nostalgia is a powerful thing and motivator in our world. A new 'features' trailer for Mario Kart 8 shows off levels, characters, and tracks. I'll be honest that I had no clue that we were up to Mario Kart 8 now. I am also not the biggest Nintendo gamer as of the last few years so it is easy to see how that may have fallen through the crack of my attention. None the less Mario Kart 8 is coming out later this month (May) and there is a new trailer showing off all of the cool new stuff that is going to be in the game. By now most of us have enjoyed Batman: Arkham Origins and maybe some of the DLC challenge maps. Wasteland 2 is not that far off from an official release. Here are the details. While Wasteland 2 is available through early access on Steam, its creator, inXile founder Brian Fargo, released statements saying the game is in its "Final Stretch" of development. He has giving us a three month window for the game to be polished up. Note that the three month window is not a final deadline. A New Uncharted Title Has Been Announced For The PlayStation 4, But That Is Really All That Has Been Said Today is the day that PlayStation 4 officially hits the streets of North America but that isn't the only news that Sony wants people focused on. While we all sit around waiting for any news we can get about Kingdom Hearts III, Japan gets their glimpses first. During the first annual D23 Expo Japan a gameplay trailer was released filled with all new content that is coming to Kingdom Hearts III. But first, for those who don't already know, D23 is the official Disney Fan Club. It is named after 1923, which was the year Walt Disney first arrived in Hollywood and created the Disney Company. Recently a Japanese video game news magazine called Famitsu had a conversation with Tetsuya Nomura, the director of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III, in an attempt to get some more information about the game. Thankfully we were able to get a translation of the information. Nomura has confirmed that the game will pick up where Dream Drop Distance left off and will be the final game in the "Dark Seeker" saga that was started in the first Kingdom Hearts game. It's been ten years since we first met Sora in Kingdom Hearts and watched him team up with Donald and Goofy on a quest to find King Mickey and ultimately save the various worlds in the Disney universe from the clutches of the Heartless. Through the next nine games to be released we have watched Sora and company grow up while facing new foes and making new friends along the way. As well as learning of the history of the Kingdom Hearts universe and everyone in it. Square Enix had a big announcement today about everyone's favorite Final Fantasy/Disney crossover. Unfortunately, it wasn't the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3. Kingdom Hearts fans around the world collectively sigh in disappointment as they read about Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, set to release Fall of 2013. It is a compilation for the PlayStation 3 featuring Kingdom Hearts Final Mix; Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories; and story cut scenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
