by Binh Nguyen [ Tuesday, 16th of June 2009 - 05:06 PM ]
Getting tired of all the World War games out there? I’m sure you’re not the only one, myself including. *cough*World at War*cough*. But, have you ever wonder what it would feel like being a part of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War? How about the battle of Antietam? I am sure you want to kill you want to kill a Spartan with your machine gun. Well you now can with 8 Monkey Labs newest release, Darkest of Days. At E3, I was one of the lucky few to find out about this new IP. Read More...

Greatest Hits Round 2
by Binh Nguyen [ Thursday, 28th of May 2009 - 04:19 PM ]
Do you smell it? It’s going to be all over the place. It’s the PS3's newest additions to the greatest hits library, all of which will be priced at $29.99 and on shelves by June 16th. Here is the list: Army of Two, EA (March 4, 2008) Battlefield: Bad Company, EA (June 23, 2008) Devil May Cry 4, Capcom (February 5, 2008) Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, SCEA (April 15, 2008) Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Konami (June 12, 2008) Ratchet&Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, SCEA (October 23, 2007) So I really have questions about this list, as in where is Heavenly Sword, and what about Uncharted? Yes, the games listed above are valid and have the right to be a part of the Greatest Hits library, but some of the titles are not even a year old yet. Now they are already part of the Greatest Hit library? Read More...

by Kevin [ Monday, 30th of March 2009 - 07:09 PM ]
R.U.S.E. Exclusive Trailer (via gamespot) I don’t care if they are trying to present what the game’s premise is. What I want.. is a tabletop game that actually plays LIKE THIS. In any event, it is an upcoming RTS video game developed by Eugen Systems and published by Ubisoft (scheduled to be released in 2009 for the 360, PS3, and PC.  It's a strategy game involving the players to use decoys to trick their enemies into traps. The release from the community site says, "R. We Have A Date To Be inFAMOUS
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of March 2009 - 09:32 PM ]
inFamous Date, Demo, and Art revealed There has been some talk about how this game will end up being. Given the video we've seen for the game as well as the short trailer for it. But as soon as June, I'm guessing just after E3, we will all get to give it a good ol' college try. Be it in Demo form or in actual game form. At least this is according to the official PlayStation Blog. So we have to know it is at least a pretty solid time frame for release. Read More...

Stat Tracking For The Ages
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of March 2009 - 10:27 PM ]
Viewing your PlayStation Trophies on PlayStation.com For a while since launch, PS3 owners had been waiting to get the Achievement Trophy system to show off how awesome they are. Allowing friends and other users of said PS3 to check them out and even compare. It was a long time waiting for them and being jealous of the XBox for having their system going. But there was much rejoicing when they came. But they didn't come in a way to show off everything online on say the pwned your favorite gaming forums. Read More...

A Game You May Have Missed: Noby Noby Boy
by Kevin [ Monday, 2nd of March 2009 - 03:33 PM ]
Every now and again, I'll look for a title that may have fallen through the cracks or that I know is new to some and familiar to others. More often than not it'll be a title that either caused my head to implode or really seemed to fall below the radar.Noby Noby Boy is a little title for the PS3 by Keita Takahashi, the creator of the Katamari Damacy series. I picked up solely on that premise alone - becuase of the inventiveness of the original and the expectation of something just as entertaining. That being said, I'm not sure what this game is. by Jesse [ Wednesday, 21st of January 2009 - 12:42 AM ]
In 2007, ThatGameCompany released their first game for the PS3. The game entitled Flow, was a vastly enhanced remake of the original award-winning flash game that had been released for Windows and Mac. Now they’re set for their second PS3 release with Flower, a game that is a successor of sorts to Flow. Officially set for release on February 12th on the PlayStation Store, Flower has players control flower petals as they float in the wind through a variety of environments. [Xbox 360 Review] Tomb Raider: Underworld
by Michael Camacho [ Saturday, 3rd of January 2009 - 08:43 AM ]
Lara Croft returns in Tomb Raider: Underworld, her final adventure before a huge revamping of the series. So is this a brilliant way to send Lara off before reconstruction of the series or an example of why the series needs change? I am pleased to say that this is the best Tomb Raider title to date. Crystal Dynamics uses Underworld to continue and bring a conclusion to Lara's adventure she began in 2006's Legend. Underworld begins with you controlling Lara in Croft Manor as the manor is ablaze.
