Mirror's Edge Catalyst The dates for the Mirror's Edge Catalyst closed beta have been set and we also get a nice long look at a mission from Mirror's Edge Catalyst A whole lot of new Mirror's Edge Catalyst news has just been dropped off here and one of the bigger things would be the dates for the closed Beta that was announced. It looks like DICE and EA have both agreed that April 22nd is going to be the start date and that the 26th is going to be the end date. Code for the closed beta for Mirror's Edge Catalyst will be going out for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions between the 22nd and 23rd for all of those who put their name in for a chance to help shape the way the social play system of the game works. Ratchet & Clank We sit down and review Ratchet & Clank. It's a re-imagining of the original title that captured our hearts for a new generation. Here's our review of Ratchet & Clank It's been three years in the making and now we finally have a Ratchet & Clank title for the PS4 native. The latest addition to the franchise that Insomniac Games started fourteen years ago has taken yet another attempt and capturing our hearts and attentions with another platforming-shooter. All in time to try and sync up with the announced Ratchet & Clank film that is only a few weeks out from the time of this writing to try and rebuild a new look at the franchise for all of those gamers out there who may have missed out the first few times before and want to see what the fuss is all about. 7 Days To Die 7 Days To Die is making its way over to the consoles this June from Telltale and it looks like 7 Days To Die is the start of a new program from the publisher Looks like another blast from the past game, 7 Days To Die, is going to be heading to the PS4 and Xbox One here. This would be the Survival Horde Crafting title that was built by indie developer The Fun Pimps that only saw the light of day on the PC, Mac, and Linux platforms. Telltale Publishing couldn't have that be so now they are bringing 7 Days To Die to a bigger audience to help destroy the current sales of 1.5 million gamers to most likely a whole lot more. God Of War A new rumor for God Of War has popped up and this one points to the next God Of War being placed in Norse mythology and has some concept art to go with it It has been some time since last we heard an update on what was going on with the God Of War franchise. During the PlayStation Experience in 2014 we received confirmation that Santa Monica Studios was working on the next installment but that has really been it. Of course there have been rumors and speculation all of over the map for the next God Of War title but here we go again with more rumors to add into. Uncharted 4 Some new gameplay for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has been uploaded and it shows off quite a bit of what looks like Uncharted 4's tenth chapter and more We've had some nice behind the scenes looks at Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End over the last few weeks and while they have been interesting to watch they have been lacking in the original gameplay to spy upon. That is what a lot of you out there really want to see if you are going to take Naughty Dog's ride on May 10th now isn't it? Uncharted 4 The final developer diary for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has been released and it is more of a thank you to players as we head into Uncharted 4's official release Here we go with the final developer diary for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Just as the trip that Naughty Dog has taken us and we will get to experience on May 10th, it all has to come to an end at some point. This is that point at least for these "making of" videos and we get to see just how the franchise has affected the crew from the very first time we met Nathan Drake to the point where we see him in Uncharted 4. Mirror's Edge Catalyst Another Mirror's Edge Catalyst developer diary has come out and we get some further details on Mirror's Edge Catalyst's City Of Glass Another developer diary for Mirror's Edge Catalyst has been released here and this time we get to see more on one of the major players in the game. Not any of the big named characters that DICE has crafted for us but I am talking about the City of Glass itself. Ratchet & Clank A new story trailer for Ratchet & Clank has been released and it looks like it will be a bit different than the Ratchet & Clank film's story but for good reasons Up to now the joke about Ratchet & Clank's story has been that it is a game based on a film based on a game. Insomniac Games has been very upfront about that in all of their promotions and interviews so there is no surprise there. But it looks like things may be a bit different in terms of story between the game and the film that the game is based on. Hopefully you can follow along with all of that as plain and simple the PS4 very of Ratchet & Clank's story is going to deviate in quite some ways than the film's. Read More...

Uncharted 4 The next video for the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End making of series has been released and this time we see how Uncharted 4 is pushing the technical boundaries of the PS4 Here we go with yet another "making of" video for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and this time we get to see how the game is going to push the PS4 hardware to its limits. Or at least that is the claim that we have from Naughty Dog on the matter. Mirror's Edge Catalyst The story and world of Mirror's Edge Catalyst has been expanded yet again as we get a look at the factions in Mirror's Edge Catalyst's city of glass It looks like some more Mirror's Edge Catalyst new slid right by almost undetected. It seems that EA has updated the official website without huge word and they have detailed out more on the factions that are changing the game's world. By the looks of things DICE is putting a lot more thought into the story of Mirror's Edge Catalyst than just "these people are bad because we say so" as the last title had. Uncharted 4 The next dev diary for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has been released and we get a good look at how the team and Nathan have grown into Uncharted 4 Last week we had a good look at how Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has evolved from the first title from so long ago. Of course that time does wonders not only on the game but also on the team over at Naughty Dog who have been working on the franchise for so long. They have aged and they have taken that "wisdom" into thought while crafting Uncharted 4 as we get to see how everyone in the game has aged as well. PlayStation VR During a press event at GDC PlayStation VR was priced out and also now we have a release window for when PlayStation VR will be hitting our homes Update 2 Deatail on the PlayStation VR bundle confirmed Sony isn't kidding around here for the PlayStation VR as they confirmed that the bundle will be $499 USD and up for pre-order on March 22nd. It will include: PS VR headset PS VR cables Stereo Headphones PlayStation VR Demo Disc PlayStation Camera 2 PlayStation Move motion controllers PlayStation VR Worlds (disc) Update Sony Confirms Bundle For North America Looks like there was a lot of outcry about the PlayStation VR set not coming with a camera or Move controllers. While the camera is required to use the system the controllers are not but many developers are building titles with the idea that consumers will have them. Read More...

System Shock The first bit of gameplay for System Shock Remastered has made it online and now we can see how we may be experiencing System Shock in a different way It was out there in the ether of the internet for a while now but here we go with actual footage of System Shock. Don't think you've lost your mind or anything but it looks like Night Dive Studios has opted to show us all how much work they have placed into remaking/remastering the classic System Shock for the Xbox One and PC. I bet you thought they had dropped it all just to work on the third title in the franchise that was just announced not that long ago. You would be wrong. Read More...
