Tomb Raider
Another episode of Rise Of The Tomb Raider's Woman Vs Wild has been released and shows us how the new Rise Of The Tomb Raider DLC could play out
It's been some time since we last saw Rise Of The Tomb Raider's Woman Vs Wild video series out there. I don't think we've seen a new one since Crystal Dynamics released the game on the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Now that Square Enix is bringing Rise Of The Tomb Raider to the PS4 and the DLC to all of the platforms, including PC, here on October 11th I guess it is about time to give us yet another episode of their "behind the scenes" style video. It makes perfect sense and now we have it right here for all of our viewing pleasures.
At first glance this looks like it only recaps the basics of Rise Of The Tomb Raider for all of those who have played the game for the last year but it does bring us a few new looks at the new Blood Ties and Lara's Nightmare DLC. At least in terms of what we should expect and see when we play it all. It is a little shocking to hear that this will bring the whole experience up to a 50 hour thing once we get all of the DLC mixed in. Now that is a true achievement that a lot of games can't seem to get to.
Rise Of The Tomb Raider — Woman Vs. Wild Episode #4: Croft Manor
Woman Vs. Wild returns with an inside look at Croft Manor, part of the all-new Blood Ties story coming to Rise Of The Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration on October 11th. When Lara’s ownership of the manor is contested, she must explore the estate for proof that she’s the rightful heir or lose it for good. This episode of Woman Vs. Wild provides a sneak peek at the Croft family home where Lara will uncover lost secrets and confront her past head-on.
I will say that I like the touch here that Crystal Dynamics added in about Lara's inner demons when it comes to the Lara's Nightmare DLC. That is what I was assuming it would be back when the announcement first came for the DLC but many claimed as just a new zombie mode of Rise Of The Tomb Raider. Of course they are still zombies in a way but it looks like it ties in better to the story than any other zombie mode I've seen to date. At least if we are all not let down once it finally launches here soon.
Are you fully ready to play Rise Of The Tomb Raider for the first time or just to get into that DLC? Do you think that it will add exact the amount of time that is being touted here or will it just be "close enough?" Do you think that this Zombies Mode will redefine anything or will it just be another open end kill-them-all kind of thing? Let us know your thoughts and discuss in the comments below.
