Horizon Zero Dawn's Latest Patch Adds New Game+ & A Lot More
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of July 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn A new patch for Horizon Zero Dawn has just been released and it brings Horizon Zero Dawn new difficulty levels, face paint, and New Game+ Horizon Zero Dawn has been out for a bit now and a lot of gamers have enjoyed it, myself included. Given how games go now, even after launch they are a changing beast and ever growing into what the developers had in mind from the start and just couldn't get it in before needing to go live and actually make their money back. Guerrilla Games definitely delivered and have been taking care of things for Horizon Zero Dawn since launch and of course are bringing us all the new DLC for the game here shortly. They are also keeping up with fixing issues found in the game and patching any holes we all kind find out there. Read More...

There Is Much More To The Look Of God Of War Than We Once Knew
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
God Of War New screenshots for God Of War are out there as well as a fun look at how the new looks for God Of War came about from the previous titles With only two trailers for God Of War being out there currently, the game has already looked to take an interesting turn for the franchise and the character involved. Given the drastic nature of the shift, and the way all those internet fans are, it is no surprise that Santa Monica Studio has been harped on for having a different type of Kratos in the game. I know a lot of people saw the woodsman beard in the first God Of War trailer and gameplay we had and though he was going to be even more grizzled after the ending of the third main game. See More Of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy That Was Shown At E3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Uncharted The extended demo for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has made its way online so those Uncharted who missed out at E3 can still check it all out One of the big highlights of the PlayStation media showcase at E3 this year was the inclusion of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as it is with the franchise almost every year. While it may not have been the title from Naughty Dog that everyone was hoping to see more for, there needed to be something given that it is hitting the PS4 on August 22nd and such. That and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy looks to be another fun addition to the overall franchise and who wouldn't want to see more for it? Read More...

E3 2017 Impressions — Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man While at E3 I was able to see Spider-Man in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Spider-Man. This was one of the bigger titles that had everyone on the E3 showfloor clamouring for more and that is about what we had for Spider-Man out here this year. It of course all kicked off with the new gameplay trailer for the game that Insomniac Games put together for the big PlayStation showcase, but then was followed up with another showing on the show floor in one of the PS4 showrooms. It wasn't any different part of Spider-Man, but it was a live demo of the same portion of the game where a few different things were shown off and explained a bit more than in the trailer we all have most likely seen a few times over already. Just like the Days Gone demo, I've added in the original gameplay trailer for Spider-Man that was shown and then will dive into the differences that were shown and explained behind the closed doors of the showroom. God Of War Shows Us How To Be A True Warrior
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
God Of War Another gameplay trailer for God Of War has been released and it also tells us God Of War will officially release in 2018 It's been almost a year since last we had anything solid to go on for God Of War as the last official showing was during the media briefing and E3 of 2016. I know there was a lot of hope that Santa Monica Studio would have had the game hitting the PS4 this year, but now it is confirmed that 2018 will be the year that Kratos is back and slaying all of the mythological beasts of Norse mythology. It is a wait, but given that this is the reboot that God Of War should be getting here, I'll wait the time to make sure we get another great experience out of it all. It would seem a bit of a waste if it was just Kratos going at all of these new gods for no other reason than they are gods and such. Read More...

E3 2017 Impressions — Days Gone
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Days Gone While at E3 I was able to see Days Gone in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Days Gone Even thought the zombie crazy seems to have been taking its toll as of late, that isn't going to stop Days Gone from coming and getting all of the well deserved hype that it has been since it was first shown to the world. Bend Studio made another huge splash out there with new gameplay this year at E3 as well as an interesting stage show that went along with it. If only we had a release date for Days Gone to hit the PS4 now, but beggars can't be choosers. Read More...

E3 Hands On — Detroit: Become Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Detroit While at E3 I was able to see Detroit: Become Human in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Detroit: Become Human. With each new trailer for Detroit: Become Human, the game looks more and more impressive in terms of animation and visuals. There is no denying that Quantic Dream has something special here in terms fo all of that. While it is all nice to look at and experience, that, of course, does not make a game by itself and there should be a lot more to Detroit: Become Human to make it more than just a pretty walking simulator. Thankfully, before the major PlayStation conference, I was able to give a small demo of the game a spin to see just how it plays and if it will be a great experience on the PS4 when it finally launches. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Drawn To Death We sit down and review Drawn To Death. It's a new shooter/brawler that take place on a teenager's notebook of doom. Here's our review of Drawn To Death Today is the last day that you PS Plus members can pick up Drawn To Death and then it flows on out into the purchase arena for everyone. Given that fact, we thought it would be high-time to throw together our review of the game and how Bartlet Jones has done with it all over the last month so you can figure out if it is worth the time and money to add it to your PS4. We also wanted to make sure we took our time and watched as Drawn To Death grew and evolved as a good multiplayer title must to keep the fans happy. Read More...

Things Seem To Be Changing For Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Ancestors It looks like Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is no longer set to be episodic and it is going to let us dictate how our Ancestors came to be Just about two years ago we had a tease for a new game called Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. This was the new project that Patrice Desilets (Assassin's Creed) and team over at Panache Digital Games was working on that would take us on a third-person action-adventure through the process of human evolution. All done in a form of a documentary of sorts as we watch and help guide our Ancestors through everything from the very beginning of it all to our current age. All in an episodic form that was assumed to have each major era be a different episode. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Uncharted The release date for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has been set and we can all look for more Uncharted to hit us this Summer The wait for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy…continues but as it turns out now, we have a final date we have to wait for as August 22nd has finally been set down as the day it launches on. Even though Naughty Dog is still working hard on it and only announced it not too long ago, we only have a few more months to wait before we have yet another journey in the game's universe. Especially since Uncharted: The Lost Legacy isn't just another DLC add-on to the last entry into the franchise but shaping up to be what sounds like its own game in general. Read More...

Review — She Remembered Caterpillars
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 10th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
She Remembered Caterpillars We sit down and review She Remembered Caterpillars. Beautiful, but lacking in fun. Here's our review of She Remembered Caterpillars She Remembered Caterpillars is an indie puzzle game that was released at the beginning of the year that I only recently discovered. It is developed Jumpsuit Entertainment, a small German team, and as far as I can see this is the team's first game together. I felt like it could do with a review. The gameplay for She Remembered Caterpillars isn’t anything special. Read More...

Review — Horizon Zero Dawn
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Thursday, 6th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn We sit down and review Horizon Zero Dawn. An open world, post-apocalyptic, robot dinosaurs hunting game. Here's our review of Horizon Zero Dawn In Horizon Zero Dawn you play as Aloy who grows up as an outcast, and an orphan, raised in the wilderness by a man named Rost. He teaches to how to hunt and survive in the wild. One thing that kind of bugged me on a personal level was the names that Guerrilla Games came up with. I get what Guerrilla was trying to do with “Rost” as rust, “Aloy” as alloy, but even simple names from people before the apocalypse have dumb names. Read More...
