by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of January 2014 - 06:54 PM ]
The Tomb Raider Definitive Edition was announced and claimed to be bringing us the next gen Lara Croft on the PS4 and Xbox One. Let's take a look at if they have kept their word. The Tomb Raider Definitive Edition is only about a week away from hitting our "next gen" consoles and giving us not only another title to play on them but a look at what Crystal Dynamics is claiming to be the definitive version of the game. At least to date. There have already been a few comparison videos and images spread out in the ether of the internet but are you not truly interested in what went into making this 'definitive' look? by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 18th of January 2014 - 06:37 PM ]
Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2 is on the horizon of launch and it is time to see all the locations and transformations we'll have to go to and use to defeat Satan We are on the cusp of the release of Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2 so it is high time to see what we gamers are going to have to turn into to help destroy the forces of Satan. I'm of course not talking about turning yourself into an ultra-nerd gaming machine that does nothing but grid boars to level up. I am talking about the new dragon form that can be assumed by Gabriel or Dracula, if you want. Read More...

Alien Isolation Is Proof The Franchise Will Never Die
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of January 2014 - 07:24 PM ]
Alien Isolation has been announced from Sega and Creative Assembly games but will it be the Aliens game we hoped we were getting before? During the hullabaloo of CES it looks like Sega announced a new Aliens title, Alien Isolation. Yea, after the huge fiasco that was Aliens: Colonial Marines, it looks like Sega and 20th Century just doesn't want to let the franchise fall aside and let the fans still love what they already loved. One bonus that Alien Isolation does look to have is that it is being handled by a new studio, so there is that. Why don't we take a look at the announcement trailer and see what is going on here. We Sit Down And Review The Walking Dead Season 2 - All That Remains. It's The First Episode But Does It Keep The Steamroller Of A Franchise Rolling? I've finally had time to digest the events of the first episode of the second season of The Walking Dead from Telltale. It's been over a year coming and we now get to see what happens to the adorable little Clementine and the survivors of the previous season even though those numbers were running pretty low at the end. So let's jump in and see if the wait was worth it. If there seems to be description missing that is due to trying to keep this as spoiler free as possible. Read More...

The Walking Dead Season 2 Is Finally Launching And Launching Today For Most. Let's See What Telltale Has For Us. Don't get too worried by me saying for most of us and not all just yet though. Read More...

Get Teased Some More For Tom Clancy's The Division
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of December 2013 - 07:24 PM ]
The New Tom Clancy's The Division Trailer Shows Off The Amazing Snowdrop Engine But Nothing In Terms Of Gameplay I have heard so many people talk about how awesome The Division looks and how excited everyone is for it. After watching a few of the gameplay videos online, because I missed the first big showing at E3, I too have been getting more and more interested in The Division. I am not a huge Tom Clancy fan but the visuals and little bit of gameplay I have seen makes me ignore that part of the game's title and keep alerts up on anything new. Like most of you I got excited when it was stated there was going to be new gameplay video during the VGX awards last weekend. Read More...

Shock And Awe At The Power And Utility Given With The Unreal Engine 4. We've Seen The Final Project. Now See How It Was Done. Time to take a little side trip away from the normal hustle and bustle of gaming and go down the avenue of how some of our favorite games, or soon to be favorite games, are made. I think any of us would be hard pressed to not be able to name a title made via the Unreal Engine. If you have to think too hard on that then you must turn in your 'Gamer Card' now. Read More...

Review: Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow - Mirror of Fate HD
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of November 2013 - 06:29 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow - Mirror of Fate HD. How Does This Port From The 3DS Stand Up On The PS3 And 360? Originally released on the 3DS, most of us who don't own a 3DS missed out on Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow - Mirror Of Fate. Luckily for all of us who are fans of the Lords of Shadow franchise MercurySteam added a HD rendition of Mirror Of Fate in the recent Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow Collection for the PS3 and 360. This is just in time to let us all have a good go at the full story before LoS2 comes out. As usual though, is the game worth your time or should you pass on it? Read More...

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Give You A Case Of Déjà Vu
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of November 2013 - 11:28 PM ]
There Are A Couple Of New Trailers Out For Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. They Showcase Some New Gameplay And The Déjà Vu Mode I don't know if you want to take this as good news for PlayStation owners or not but it looks like Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is going to have a mode just for them. This mode is simply called Déjà Vu and from the looks of it, it is a mode that allows you to replay missions in Metal Gear Solid V using the original skins from the PS One days. Exciting stuff to say the least. Read More...

This Is The Second Part Where We Cover The Multiplayer Of The Game The new Call Of Duty is here and it’s that time again for players to put many hours into the games' multiplayer. This time it's Infinity Ward up to bat with Call Of Duty: Ghosts. This is part two of our Call Of Duty: Ghosts review and you can check out our Campaign review here. Because That's How PlayStation 4 / Xbox One People Are
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of November 2013 - 07:02 PM ]
The Latest South Park Episode Wraps Up The Ludicrous Thoughts On The PS4 Vs. Xbox One Console War…In My Opinion A few years ago, around the launch of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, there was a huge controversy over an acronym that was being used as a promotional piece for the game. Fight Against Grenade Spam was the tag for those that don't remember. They caught a lot of flak for it from the media and at about the same time the brains over at South Park Studios put out an episode, The F Word, which summed up my feelings on the matter. As we move into the new consoles coming out here in a matter of days, one for the PlayStation 4 and eight for the Xbox One in NA, I have been seeing more and more on this gens 'Console War'. Check Out Some Intense Combat In Ryse Son Of Rome
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of November 2013 - 11:29 PM ]
A New Trailer For Ryse Son Of Rome Shows Off How Crazy And Intense The Combat System Is Going To Be Last time I took a look at Ryse Son Of Rome I made a bunch of comparisons to GoW in the terms of looks and story. It is such an easy jump between the two. Now we are getting a new look at the combat and gameplay of the game and comparisons be damned, Ryse Son Of Rome's combat is now a huge selling point for me. If you are still on the fence take a look below and see what I am talking about. If you are curious before watching the trailer it looks like the combat for Ryse Son Of Rome has taken some of the better parts of the Arkham games mixed with the brutality of GoW. Read More...
