Metal Gear Survive Is Getting Another Beta Test Just Before Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Metal Gear Another beta test for Metal Gear Survive is coming and it looks to offer up a bit more content for Metal Gear Survive than we have seen in the past You will soon have another chance to give Metal Gear Survive a whirl before it launches on February 20th and this time on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It looks like Konami is bringing us all yet another "beta test" of the game shortly before launch. I put the quotes there as it is most likely going to be more of an early demo of Metal Gear Survive and not a true beta test. Read More...

Egress Is Announced To Bring A Souls-Like Battle Royale To Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Egress Add another battle royale game to the genre as we have Egress announced here with Egress also coming sometime in 2018 It looks like the saturation of the Battle Royale genre is coming as we now have Egress announced and coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. At least as it has been announced so far from Fazan Games out there here recently. Of course Egress is not going to be just another in the genre in general, it will house a few different features from other games and genres out there to try to mix things up. Like a combat system that is very reminiscent of Dark Souls for starters. Read More...

Fear The Wolves Brings Another Post-Apocalyptic Battle Royale Game In 2018
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Fear The Wolves A new battle royale title, Fear The Wolves, has been announced and Fear The Wolves looks to bring many gamers into the multiplayer world It looks like we are going to have yet another Battle Royale game added into the mix here as Fear The Wolves has been given the full announcement treatment and heading to our PS4, Xbox One, and PCs sometime in 2018. That seems to be like a broken record that is getting played here for Focus Home Interactive titles now. Not a horrible thing as Vostok Games has been working on Fear The Wolves for a while before the official announcement out at the “Le What’s Next de Focus” event that is going on, but it is still something I am taking note of. Far Cry 5 Has More Heroes For Hire Than You Might Have Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 Get to know the heroes for hire in Far Cry 5 a bit more with some character story and ability breakdowns so you can better clear the cult in Far Cry 5 In Far Cry 5 we already know we will not just be an army of one taking on the villainous cult that has overtaken Hope County. If you did not know that, then you have been missing out on everything that Ubisoft has put out there and need to get on top of that. At least if you have interest in picking up Far Cry 5 on your PS4, Xbox One, or PC on March 27th at least. For those who have been following along, we know that we will be getting "Heroes For Hire" mixed into the fun to bring down the cult and each with their own reasons and abilities to bring with them. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Vampyr The fourth and final behind the scenes video for Vampyr is here and with it comes a look at the storytelling process of the game as well as the release date for Vampyr The final "episode" of the behind the scenes videos for Vampyr is here and with it comes a bit of a nice treat. It is something that we all figured Focus Home Interactive would do now that we are coming to a wrap on all of this, and all those assumptions were correct. That being the release date for Vampyr finally getting revealed for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It makes sense as this seems to be the end of the big push for the video game. Read More...

The Surge It has been announced that The Surge 2 is in development and as of right now, The Surge 2 is slated to hit consoles and PC in 2019 It looks like Focus Home Interactive has announced a new title out of Le What’s Next de Focus this year and that title is The Surge 2. After the success of the last one and its DLC, it looks like they have opted to have Deck 13 bring us all a full sequel and bring it to the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 sometime in 2019. Love it or hate it, The Surge 2 is coming and it looks like they are doing what every sequel does; builds upon the past work to make a better title. Past Cure's Story Gets A Bit Stranger As It Is Detailed Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Past Cure A new story trailer for Past Cure is here and it comes with some new commentary that makes Past Cure's story sound strange but worth the time to look at Leading up to now, we have had some good looks at Past Cure and have been able to gather a bit of the story over time. It is a narrative driven title with all of the fun that comes with that, but it looks like there may be more going on than we knew before. Phantom 8 Studio has not given out all of the details for the story of the game so far, for good reason, but it looks like that is changing a bit with another look at Past Cure. Given that it is still slated to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 23rd, it makes sense that we should start to get more to wrap our brains around for the game. Read More...

Injustice 2 The first gameplay footage for the TMNT in Injustice 2 is here and with it comes some extra changes to Injustice 2 to help accommodate the heroes in a half shell In just under a week we will be getting our last bit of DLC for Injustice 2's Fighter Pack 3 and those following along already know that it is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It came as a bit of a shock when NetherRealm Studios went with this team over many other characters they could have gone with, but it has been a pleasant surprise so far. More so now that we have them in action for Injustice 2 with some new gameplay. Read More...

by Julia Schoebel [ Tuesday, 6th of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]

Space Hulk: Tactics Is Announced & Bringing A New Twist To Space Hulk
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Space Hulk A new twist on the Space Hulk franchise has been announced and coming sometime in the near future in terms of Space Hulk: Tactics Another title in the Warhammer 40k franchise is coming here as we have Space Hulk: Tactics announced for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It looks like the people over at Cyanide Studio is riding the success from their past titles even further as Focus Home Interactive has optioned them to bring this game to us all based off the tabletop game of the similar name. Drop the tactics part off of Space Hulk: Tactics and you will be on point there for what I am talking about. But more or less, it will be the same turn-based title that you could expect but with some twists to make it not a simple port over to the video game world from the physical one. Read More...

The Peterson Case Will Show Us The Horrors That Could Have Been At Roswell
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
The Peterson Case New gameplay for The Peterson Case is here to help us see how the Roswell incident could have been a true horror show and not all fun and games Almost everyone out there has heard of the Roswell UFO incident and what happened out there. If not then get ready for a whole new take on it with The Peterson Case as it is taking that whole event and turning it into a dark horror title instead of the happy Sci-Fi thing that pop culture has made it. This is not the first announcement for the game that Quarter Circle Games has made for the game, but here we do have some great new gameplay footage to see and get a feel for just what to expect in The Peterson Case when it does come to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A release date or window has still not be set, but good things take time and from what I can see here that is just the case. Read More...

Far Cry 5’s Story Shows What God Gives, Man Can Never Take Away
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Far Cry More of Far Cry 5’s story is being detailed out in a new trailer and we have a look at Far Cry 5’s Season Pass that will hold some great things We have had some fun looks at the story of Far Cry 5 so far, but now we get a much deeper look at the insanity that is going on in Hope County and why they all need us to help save the day. In the past we have heard and seen a lot of the work that Ubisoft had done to get the religious cult aspect feeling just right in the game as well as the environment. Up to now, it was a little 'iffy' for me on that side, but now that we have this new trailer to see, I think that Far Cry 5 is hitting the horrors and insanity on the head. Read More...

New Gameplay For Hunt: Showdown Straight From The Closed Alpha
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Hunt The closed alpha for Hunt: Showdown is on and now we are getting a whole lot more to see for Hunt: Showdown in its raw form As of yesterday (1/31/18) the closed alpha test for Hunt: Showdown was in full swing. Random participants who signed up for a chance have started to be selected by Crytek to join in the fun and, of course, select content creators have also been given access. While the primary goal of this is to help shape Hunt: Showdown into the game that we all want, it is also to help promote the game and get more gamers excited to join in all of the fun. That makes it sound like the team has not already done a great job doing that, but that is not the case at all. Read More...
