Code Vein
The release date for Code Vein has been pushed out until 2019 now after feedback from fans and media during the displaying of Code Vein at events
Here we go with an odd turn for Code Vein as it looks like that September 28th release date will no longer be the case here. After waiting so long to give a release date and showing the game off at multiple events so far, Bandai Namco is now pushing the game out to a 2019 release date. What date in 2019? That is still to be figured out as it now only has a release year and no more solid date. It looks like we all get to go back to waiting for Code Vein again and hopefully see more in the coming months and other gaming or 'geek' conventions as well.
The official word on the 'why' Code Vein has been pushed out looks to be that they need more to develop the game; even though it has been praised by the media and fans at E3 and Anime Expo. Seems a bit odd that if it has been receiving great feedback that it would need at least six more months of work. It is what it is though and now we just have to wait for Code Vein to finally become what the team has set out to bring us for a while now. We cannot rush good things, but it just seems like odd timing and phrasing at this point. We will see…
Bandai Namco Entertainment today announce Code Vein will be moving its release date to 2019 from the previously announced date of 28th September, 2018.
Throughout its pre-release promotion campaign, Code Vein has consistently garnered positive reactions from both media and consumers alike. With this knowledge in-hand, Bandai Namco has made the decision to dedicate additional time to further develop Code Vein; ensuring the final product delivers on the expectations set amongst media and fans.
