I am back with another update on Telltale's next epic episodic game series The Wolf Among Us. Telltale has announced that the first episode of The Wolf Among Us will be available on the Xbox 360, PC and Mac on October 11th. Telltale has confirmed that their new game, The Wolf Among Us, is now open for pre-order. Telltale did not mention a release date but did say the game will be out by the end of October. A season pass will set you back $24.99 but you can nab it for a discounted price of $22.49 through Steam and Telltale’s official website. If you purchase through Telltale you will receive a making of DVD at the end of the season although shipping will be on you. The Walking Dead from Telltale has been out for some time now for every device with one of the most recent being the PS Vita. Now I know what you are thinking "is there a reason I should get the game again?" Well with the PS Vita comes a few extra hardware additions that just were not available on the console or PC so let's dig in and see if your third or fourth play through will be worth it on Sony's handheld device. I want to start off this whole thing with a nice quote from the amazing film Orgazmo. Take a look before I go into the bulk of what I want to talk about in this posting about the "over sexualization" in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V and comments made my Kojima. Just in case you skipped the clip, I don't know why you would have, it is pretty much how I feel about this whole "Sexy up" the characters in the game drama all over the internet. Well this has been a long time coming since we got our first look years ago at E3 but The Bureau: XCOM Declassified has finally hit the streets. For a while there I was a little scared it wouldn't be coming out given the focus on other titles and a whole different game in the same franchise. But here we go. A little history lesson here. Back in the very late 80's and early 90's there was a game called Shadow Of The Beast that also spawned two sequels. Lesson over. Now in the coming year(s) here we are getting a "Re-Imagining" of the game exclusively on the PlayStation 4. That is really the all the information that has been announced so far outside of the following teaser trailer. Back in April, I wrote an article showcasing what I had seen of Magic The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2014 during my interview at PAX East. I had been waiting for the game to be released so I could hop into it and get my first look at the new Magic The Gathering 2014 Core Set expansion since, as always, I knew that all MTG players will get their first look and get to play with the cards first in DOTP. Just as last year, The Walking Dead Escape was back with a vengeance at Petco Park during the San Diego Comic Con. For the uninitiated this is an event where a good portion of the sports arena in San Diego was converted into an obstacle course in the theme of AMC's The Walking Dead. It really allows for people to really test their mettle and some of their survival skills to brag that they could survive the initial zombie outbreak. I was lucky enough to get to run the course again this year and what I found interesting was that most people I ran with compared the experience to most of the action zombie video games on the market today. Granted we were not allowed to attack the zombies in the run, but I would have to agree with the sentiment as there has been a push in the industry with Outlast and Dying Light this year. Frankly, I am surprised it took this ling to finally get some Grand Theft Auto V game play. I would have thought it would have been out a few weeks ago, but hey, I'm guessing Rockstar had more important things to deal with. Either way though, here we go. A nice little look at what the game will look like during game play and a bit more into the characters of the world. I do have to say that it looks pretty cool that there will be missions that require you to hop between each PC to get everything done. I would be lying if I said that The Evil Within wasn't the biggest reason for me to go to E3 this year. Between TEW and Murdered I could have left fulfilled early. Even though I didn't get my hands on the game, I was overly impressed with what we were shown during the closed door demo. Here's a bit more on what got my jaw to drop and people screaming in the room. If you are a fan of Resident Evil 4 then you might as well already through your money at TEW. All of the game play mechanics, camera tricks, and scenarios that made RE4 and amazing game look to be what was used as the base for this game. Read More...

Talk about being tight lipped. While most other larger titles are getting new trailers and information spewed all over the internet leading up to E3 it looks like The Evil Within is holding back. Well holding back a bit as you will see a few "new" screenshots below but nothing new to add to the overall game. By now we all know the premise behind Wolfenstein: The New Order. The Nazis got the bomb first and ended up winning WWII because of it and William "B.J." Blazkowicz, AKA you, are given the orders to try and take down the Nazi powers that be. Standard affair if I do say so myself outside of the super tech that the Nazis have at their disposal.
