This Week In Video Games 5/26/20 — 5/29/20
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of May 2020 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week As we figured, this was a shorter week for all of those announcements and showings for our video games. That is not to say we did not have some great stuff to see, just a little less than normal given the American holiday that took place and so many places being closed. We did get the highlight of The Last Of Us Part II gameplay and a whole lot more for Outriders too. Also the list of free video games coming to us next week for the PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Dead By Daylight Is Taking Us Back Into The Horror Of Silent Hill
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of May 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Dead By Daylight The next chapter for Dead By Daylight is coming and bringing a bit of Silent Hill into the fun of Dead By Daylight’s gameplay Those looking for a bit more of Silent Hill even though a full game has yet to be announced again? Well, it looks like Dead By Daylight is going to give us all a bit of it to experience here in June as it is the next chapter coming to the game from Behaviour here on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4. A nice bit of DLC to have for Dead By Daylight even if it is only one location, survivor, and killer to experience in a game not truly set in the otherworldly location. It is something, so we cannot truly complain all too much. Read More...

Dead By Daylight Will Be Taking Us To Hawkins In The Next Update
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of August 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Dead By Daylight Dead By Daylight will be getting a new update to add Stranger Things into the already massive loop of icons in Dead By Daylight already It almost felt like it was inevitable, but now Dead By Daylight is getting a full-on Stranger Things update this coming September. No, the whole game is not going to be changed over to a version of it all. That would be a massive undertaking for Behaviour. Instead, it is getting a new update that will add in some of the characters from the show as well as one of the more iconic monsters to stalk around Dead By Daylight with. Read More...

Dead By Daylight Has A New Hero Coming With Ash Williams
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Dead By Daylight Ash Williams of Evil Dead fame is coming to Dead By Daylight as a completely new survivor with new perks just for Dead By Daylight In a game called Dead By Daylight it always felt weird that the IP that helped spawn the phrase in other words was not included. For this I am talking about "Dead By Dawn!" and maybe it was just the fact that Behaviour just could not get the rights to it. At least before now as it looks like the 'King', Ash Williams, will now be heading out in the world of Dead By Daylight to kick some demon ass. Read More...

Dead By Daylight The next chapter for Dead By Daylight has been revealed and it looks like it is bringing the SAW franchise to Dead By Daylight for fans to slay/play with It looks like the next chapter for Dead By Daylight is almost here and we will be getting yet another "slasher" and survivor from a popular horror franchise. Behaviour has been doing a great job with doing just that for the game and now it looks like they are bringing the SAW franchise into the mix here on January 23rd with the most recent DLC for the game. All kinds of games are going to need to be played in Dead By Daylight as we are going to be getting a few of that franchise's more iconic characters and locations added into play. Read More...

It Is Confirmed That Dead By Daylight Will Be Taking Us To Elm Street
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of October 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Dead By Daylight Nightmares will be abound in Dead By Daylight as it has been confirmed that Freddy will be coming to Dead By Daylight before Halloween That did not take long as the speculation is now over and we can expect to see Freddy Kruger join the ranks of Dead By Daylight. Also to join them on October 26th here. Just in time for Behaviour and Starbreeze to capitalize on the Halloween season here. It makes perfect sense and all and we did have a good tease before, but now we know Dead By Daylight will be taking us to Elm Street in some way and this is the most we have. Read More...

The E3 Daylight Trailer Is Just As Cryptic As The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Sunday, 9th of June 2013 - 02:45 PM ]
Back during PAX we got a little bit of hands-on with Daylight and the developers were a bit close lipped about some of the specifics even while we were playing the demo. As you move through an abandoned hospital with but your phone for light and direction you encounter cryptic things about the environment that we had to piece together to continue. A nice little feature that isn't all that common in games today and with the below E3 trailer it looks like it is going to move into their PR for the game as well. If you want to call it a trailer, then you can see it below. Read More...

PAX East Hands On: Daylight
by Kenton Winkfield [ Wednesday, 27th of March 2013 - 04:19 PM ]
I’ve said it before; it's tough not to grab my attention when I get shown a video game. But it is tough to pull me away from one that already has my attention. Zombie Studios showcased their game Daylight at the Astro Headset Booth, which was close to Square Enix, my favorite developer/publisher, and right next to Wizards of the Coast, makers of my favorite TCG, Magic: The Gathering. This is an incredibly difficult location for a game to be showcased if it wants to keep my attention. Zombie Studios had no trouble reaching that feat. Read More...
