Marvel & Square Enix Have Partnered To Bring Many Games Starting With The Avengers
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 26th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Avengers A new partnership has been announced and we are getting a new Avengers game from Marvel & Square Enix that will tell an original Avengers story in the vast universe There were some nice teases over the last few days on a new announcement coming from Marvel and Square Enix with a lot of speculation aimed at a "Marvel World" being in Kingdom Hearts III being the big news. It looks like all of that is completely wrong as now we know that it was all to announce the two giant's partnership and that we will be getting a full on video game for The Avengers sometime in the near-ish future. 2018 seems to be the year thrown around here but that doesn't stop it the excitement as there will be a nice big and flashy new Avengers game to be played out there in the mix of all of the other Marvel titles also on the way this year and the next. Let Final Fantasy XV's Moogle Chocobo Carnival Festivities Begin
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of January 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV The limited time Final Fantasy XV event, Moogle Chocobo Carnival, starts next week and we can see what it adds to Final Fantasy XV if you get the pack By now you have most likely picked up Final Fantasy XV Holiday Pack in either Free form or as part of the Season Pass for the game. It seemed odd to have been released so far back and with only a few bits of the content ready for us out of the box but Square Enix put it out there and it is still available for all to download in which ever form on the PS4 and Xbox One. Mixed in were a few new outfits for the characters of Final Fantasy XV and other minor bits but the bulk of it was listed as coming at a later date when the in-game event kicked off in the way of the Moogle Chocobo Carnival. More Signs Are Hinting That Final Fantasy VII Remake's First Episode Will Release In 2017
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy VII Remake Another listing for Final Fantasy VII Remake indicates that we actually may see the first episode of Final Fantasy VII Remake sometime this year Here we go with just a bit more pointing to the fact that we may be seeing Final Fantasy VII Remake at some point this year. This isn't the first time something has popped up like this of course but to the dismay of Square Enix it looks like retailers just can't stop letting things slip out a bit earlier than they should. Like I said, this one also shows that we could be seeing the first episode of Final Fantasy VII Remake this year as there are now options to pre-order it all right now. At least if we take what just popped up on the Australian EB Games website. Read More...

Final Fantasy XV's First Big DLC Is Bringing All Kinds Of Fun Festivities
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV Details on Final Fantasy XV's first DLC, Holiday Pack, have been given and it looks like Final Fantasy XV is going to be festive in its own way; paid or not We've seen all of the teases and semi-updates for the Final Fantasy XV DLC that will be coming and as expected, it looks like that Holiday Pack bit is just about to hit us. As in next week we should be seeing all of the new bits added to the game from Square Enix just for those who have picked up the Season Pass or choose to purchase it all on its own. But wouldn't you know, given the holiday season, this bit of DLC for Final Fantasy XV isn't going to be reserved just for those who dropped the extra $25 USD for the pass but also for anyone who dropped the cash to pick up the full game already. Final Fantasy's 30th Anniversary Could Be Massive If Rumors Are True
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy New rumors for Final Fantasy's 30th Anniversary celebration have begun to circulate and if true we could be getting all of Final Fantasy in one spot Next year is going to be a big one for Final Fantasy XV as the franchise is hitting its 30th year in the running. It's hard to believe it has been going so strong for that long and it looks like Square Enix is going to be doing something special just for it. That of course is based on news we had from earlier in the year when they opened up a portal site to get us all ready for the 2017 celebration and nothing too new. Some big things are supposedly coming and if you can believe the latest rumors to crop up, we may be getting more Final Fantasy than we want or need next year and running into the following one as well. Here Is Everything You Need To Know Before Setting Forth Into Final Fantasy XV
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of November 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV A new trailer for Final Fantasy XV has released and it takes us through all of the aspects of Final Fantasy XV we did or didn't know just yet In just over a week from now we will be diving into the world of Final Fantasy XV and seeing if the insanely long development cycle for the game is going to pay off. I have insanely high hopes that it will but it never hurts to be cautiously optimistic these days even though Square Enix has generally been able to pump out some great quality work over the franchise's nearly thirty year run. Gods that makes me feel old but it doesn't downplay my eagerness to give Final Fantasy XV a solid chunk of my remaining time here. Read More...

The Leviathan Has Arisen From The Depths of Final Fantasy XV
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of November 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV More screenshots for Final Fantasy XV have been released and we get to see more summons and characters for Final Fantasy XV just before launch The days are counting down faster and faster until we will get to play Final Fantasy XV on our PS4 and/or Xbox One and it looks like we are still getting more and more for the game before launch. Some may say that Square Enix is showing off too much of the game before November 29th but I personally see it as a testament to how large the game will be in the end. Or just how little we've actually seen of Final Fantasy XV leading up to now and that we've been mostly seeing recycled footage and images up until now. Read More...

Final Fantasy XV's Shiva Is Out In Force With New Screenshots
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of November 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV A bunch of new screenshots for Final Fantasy XV have been released and we get to see Final Fantasy XV's version of Shiva in action amongst other things Just in case the bombardment of Final Fantasy XV pre-order videos wasn't enough for us all this week, it looks like we have a whole slew of new screenshots for the game that show off the summon of Shiva, another location, and some of the behind the scenes stuff we will be micromanaging when the game hits the PS4 and Xbox One on November 29th. One would think that Square Enix is showing us way too much of the game before launch but I have a feeling this is all linked into how large the final game will be. It has been touted to be quite massive and you'd expect that with Final Fantasy XV having a ten year cycle of sorts that we won't be left wanting for more for a long time in the game. Read More...

The Kingdom Hearts III Story May Have Been Expanded A Bit More
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of November 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts It looks like more of Kingdom Hearts III's story has popped up and we'll be seeing even more worlds when Kingdom Hearts III comes to market If you've been chomping at the bit to get any kind of update for Kingdom Hearts III then you can take a break from that as it looks like a bit of the story has been spotted out there for us to dissect into. While this may not be officially out of Square Enix it does look like some text from the back of the Sora Play-Arts Kai box has a few little details on what we can expect to be going on in the next game. It may not be much to go on as we wait for Kingdom Hearts III to hit the PS4 and Xbox One, but it is something to look over and let the brain juices flow over. Read More...

Final Fantasy XV Even more details for Final Fantasy XV have been revealed and this time we get to see how Final Fantasy XV's magic will work as well as traveling It looks like in all of the excitement of last week's Final Fantasy XV gold announcement that a few things fell through the crack and are just now being picked up. Yes, Square Enix giving us the final date for the game was amazing and so was the new CG trailer for it all but it looks like there were other details on the magic system, nighttime monsters, and travel in the game that were also revealed. So much excitement for Final Fantasy XV and it looks like those visuals overtook the gameplay mechanics yet again. Read More...
