A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games As Gamescom comes to a warp here we too come to wrap up another week in video games. There was so much to take in for this week we didn't get a chance to cover most things that cropped up for the industry at all. We tried our damnedest to do so but we are still just a small and fierce team. When the likes of Rock Band 4, Mad Max, and Final Fantasy XV are hammering us with so much it is hard to cover all video games out there or in the works. Rock Band 4 gets seventeen new tracks to pad the full list of on disc songs we will be getting with Rock Band 4 It looks like the Rock Band 4 setlist is getting nicely filled out in terms of the on-disc songs we are going to be getting on October 6th. As of today we now have Harmonix has filled it in to 34 songs now with the announcement of seventeen more to the list. I'm going to say that we have at least one more huge announcement of tracks to round it all the way out or a few more smaller Rock Band 4 announcements to make sure that we have at least as many songs on-disc as we have had in past titles. I think we should have about 48 on Rock Band 4 to stay on par with what we've had in the past. Read More...

A new event and Easter Egg in Batman: Arkham Knight has been discovered although you might want to skip if you want to keep your Batman: Arkham Knight experience spoiler free It really is no surprise that Batman: Arkham Knight has at least one interesting "Easter Egg" that is all based on the current date of the system you are playing on. I mean, Rocksteady Games made it a trophy in their last title in the franchise so it would be safe to assume that something would have to be added in for Arkham Knight right? Eleven new tracks have been added to Rock Band 4 to expand the on-disk track list even further We've had a short list of six songs for Rock Band 4 already announced to be on the game's disk when it launches on October 6th for the PS4 and Xbox One. We'll be able to move over all of our downloaded songs without issue, even though they may not all be able to use all the new Rock Band 4 features at launch, but of course we want to have a nice array of songs to play out the gate. Harmonix knows this and they are taking great care to add more to the game disk for Rock Band 4 as well as letting us submit our own ideas for great songs for the game. The official description for Batman: Arkham Knight story DLC featuring Batgirl now has a date and premises to see how she will help fight the Arkham Knight We all knew that we were getting a bit of story DLC featuring Batgirl in Batman: Arkham Knight. We just never knew when or in what capacity we would be getting her added to the mix. We Tried To Sit Down And Review Batman: Arkham Knight but sadly the PC version has made that impossibility. Here's what I have to say on the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight I received my copy of Batman: Arkham Knight when I bought my new GTX 960 SCC 4GB edition. I had never played the previous three Arkham games or any spin-offs and was quite looking forward to diving in to such a praised franchise from Rocksteady Games to review it without having the others to compare it to. There was a whole lot to cover in the world of video games and we did our best to get everything we could during and after the week. This included some great hands on impressions for Mad Max, Guitar Hero Live, Drawn To Death, and Assassin's Creed Syndicate. While At E3 I Was Able To See Rock Band 4 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It The rhythm games are making a comeback strong this year and Rock Band 4 is not going to slouch around and let the others take the limelight it is known for. In fact at E3 the only way to get hands on with Rock Band 4 was to swing by the stages that Harmonix and Mad Catz had set up to play the game on as well as give you that extra feeling of being a rock star again. We are all going to feel this way when October 6th rolls around and we hook up Rock Band 4 to our PS4 or Xbox One. Another, yet more detailed, look at the Rock Band 4 controllers that we will need to truly shine in Rock Band 4 Next week a lot of us, media and fans alike, are going to get to get our hands on Rock Band 4 and give the game a good play through at E3. In this case it won't be only the game but also the new controllers being made just for Rock Band 4 by Mad Catz. Something that also needs to be impressive to be able to show off all of the work that Harmonix has put into the game thus far and moving forward. A new look at Batman: Arkham Knight's Red Hood DLC has been released and it shows a bit more why Batman: Arkham Knight is rated M for Mature now If you are looking to squeeze all the story you can out of Batman: Arkham Knight then you might want to look into pre-ordering the game to make sure you have most of it from day one. Yes, Rocksteady has talked about pumping out more story DLC as the cycle of Batman: Arkham Knight pushes on but it looks like the Red Hood DLC for the game is a GameStop exclusive. Another Arkham Insider has been released to detail more about Batman: Arkham Knight and this time it is a look at how Batman has changed to fight said Arkham Knight The days are fleeting away as we get closer to the release of Batman: Arkham Knight. That is good for two reasons. One of which being that our PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC will be full of all kind of Batman goodness real soon. The other reason being that Rocksteady really wants to show off Batman: Arkham Knight and that means more and more to look at as we wait. A new Batman: Arkham Insider was released and this time it shows off all the upgrades the Batmobile has in Batman: Arkham Knight to help take down the Arkham Knight We've seen bits and pieces of Batman: Arkham Knight's version of the Batmobile in action already but of course Rocksteady hasn't shown off all of the bells and whistles for the machine that we will be tearing up Gotham with. Not only that but we also get a new look at the Riddler Caves in the game and how they work a bit. These would be what look to be race tracks in Batman: Arkham Knight but as we will find out soon they are way more than just that as it really wouldn't fit the character if they were that basic.
