Dead Island: Riptide Tries The Tearjerker Again

I am sure we all remember back when Dead Island was first announced and the trailer that came with it. I am sure you do. It had people welling up with tears over a fictional family that was on the island of Banoi when the outbreak happened. Seems that Dead Island: Riptide is taking its turn at trying to hit you in the gut just like before. Below you can see the new CGI trailer for Riptide. Dead Island: Riptide Shows No Hope For The Survivors

Just when you think things might be going well in the world of Dead Island you find out things just got worse. Recently there was a bit more revealed about the upcoming sequel, Dead Island: Riptide, including some screens. In this reveal we find out that all of the survivors, Playable Character, are on their way to safety and then thrust onto a new island of the dead. Ain't that some shit? E3 2012 Hands On: Neverwinter

Talk about another title that wasn't on my radar until I got a chance to sit down and actually have some good hands on with. The title in the instance is Neverwinter. Another attempt at making the perfect version of Dungeons&Dragons into an interactive video game. In this attempt though, I feel that they are just about spot on with what I was able to play. Just as a heads up, I was only able to get handsie with the Wizard class, although it felt more like a Sorcerer. The first thing I have to say that impressed me was the fact that the game deviates from the "tab" based combat system and takes on a very active based one. Read More...

Resident Evil 6's Release Date Pushed Forward

Not only that, but recently at Captivate we also got a whole slew of new visuals and a bit more on the story of the game. Don't believe me? Star Trek Online Goes Free To Play

Cryptic Studios has just announced that it's highly acclaimed MMORPG Star Trek Online will be free-to-play before the end of this year. The game will also be downloadable and playable at no cost! "In addition to seeking out new life and exploring strange new civilizations, part of our continuing mission for Star Trek Online is to expand and improve," said Jack Emmert, CEO, Cryptic Studios. "Transitioning to a free-to-play model is a natural way to share all we've built with a broader community of players and we couldn't be more excited." So later this year we will see STO go free-to-play, with features that include customizing avatars, crews and ships just like normal and no limitations to the galaxy they wish to explore. This time it is Captain America: Super Soldier based around the hero and forthcoming film of similar, but not exact title. Neverwinter's New E3 Trailer

I haven't had much luck with Dungeons and Dragons games lately, but for some reason I am still really excited for Neverwinter. The last time I talked about Neverwinter was in August of last year. At that time, all we had was a place holder website and a few comments from Cryptic Studios. We finally get our first look at Dungeons and Dragons: Neverwinter at E3 this year, and I can say one thing for sure - it looks like Dungeons and Dragons. So there you have it, another Dungeons and Dragons title by Atari. I was a little more excited for this title before I played Daggerdale, but hopefully Cryptic Studios will not let this product fall by the wayside. Read More...

Capcom Taking A Shot At God Of War With Asura's Wrath?

I get that by now it is hard to do an action game without getting the "It's Like [Insert Name]..." tagged to it, but Asura's Wrath seems to not care. Not care to the point where the basic story of the game is thus. Once a revered deity, Asura was betrayed by his fellow gods and stripped of all his powers. Consumed by anger at the injustice he has suffered and swearing vengeance, Asura discovers he can use this fury to his advantage and turn it against his enemies. Command Come In... New Operation Raccoon City Game Play Trailer

It is in and it makes Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City look like a load of fun. The trailer also makes all of the screen shots look like there were originally working it out for the Wii. Granted, there are a lot of pre-rendered scenes in the trailer, but if you look fast, you can see the game play mixed in. When Did Jason Statham Join The Cast Of Uncharted 3?

Shocking New: Chris Evans To Voice In Captain America: Super Soldier
