by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of March 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Battleborn The start date for Battleborn's open beta have been set and we have the details of what parts of Battleborn we will get to experience when it goes live We are not that far off from Battleborn's official release of May 3rd and we knew that there was an open beta in the works to make sure all of the server bugs were stamped out. Now we have those dates for said beta and it looks like Gearbox is giving those PS4 players a little bit extra over the PC and Xbox One fans. Way to keep us all fighting with yet another title that has free content/exclusives in this modern age. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of March 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead In a recent interview it was revealed that The Walking Dead from Telltale will be getting a third season and build off where The Walking Dead left us all Hopefully you haven't given up on Clementine from The Walking Dead just yet as it turns out that we are getting a third season for the game and getting it before the end of the year. At least that is what has been stated in a recent interview with the CEO of Telltale Games. Hopefully you remember all of your previous choices and the story of The Walking Dead so far as it looks like the different endings we had to choose from will not be the true end of it all. Get To Know Overwatch's Winston Just A Bit More Before Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of March 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Overwatch A new CGI video series for Overwatch has debuted and it looks like we are going to be getting to know all of Overwatch's characters more starting with Winston Unlike all of those other "get to know a character" video we have had in the past for Overwatch it looks like this time around we have something slightly new. It looks like Blizzard is kicking off a new video series for the game and now we are getting to see more of the story behind some of the characters in a CGI manner. Yea, this isn't any new gameplay for Overwatch but it is a nice and fun look at some of the story behind the characters we are all going to hopefully grow to love when the game lands on May 24th. DOOM Is Getting Some Classic & New Multiplayer Modes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of March 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
DOOM The six multiplayer modes for DOOM have been revealed and it includes two classic modes that DOOM fans will remember and four others to flesh it out We just had a good look at the multiplayer maps that were coming to DOOM and now it looks like we have a look at the modes of gameplay we will have when entering into said maps. That didn't take too long but it is not surprising given that the beta goes live here in about a week and Bethesda needs to get us all more jazzed. As if what id Software has put together already for DOOM hasn't been enough it looks like we have at least four more multiplayer modes that deviates from the basics we would have all expected. New Details About The Factions In Mirror's Edge Catalyst Are Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of March 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Mirror's Edge Catalyst The story and world of Mirror's Edge Catalyst has been expanded yet again as we get a look at the factions in Mirror's Edge Catalyst's city of glass It looks like some more Mirror's Edge Catalyst new slid right by almost undetected. It seems that EA has updated the official website without huge word and they have detailed out more on the factions that are changing the game's world. By the looks of things DICE is putting a lot more thought into the story of Mirror's Edge Catalyst than just "these people are bad because we say so" as the last title had. At least that was my takeaway from what I remember. Read More...

Rumor Mill: Red Dead Redemption 2 To Be Announced At E3 For A 2017 Release
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of March 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Red Dead Redemption 2 Rumors about Red Dead Redemption 2 being in production have popped up again and claim we could hear about Red Dead Redemption 2 being official at E3 Here we are six years after the first title launched and we have more Red Dead Redemption 2 rumors popping up. In fact it is pretty much the same rumor we had last year that Rockstar Games never let pan out but yet again we are seeing we are seeing it. Just like before rumor has it that we will get an announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2 at E3 this year with a release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC for some time in 2017. With the number of Take-Two Interactive titles you'd think there would be someone trying to step up and spin it in some direction but there isn't. Read More...

The Climb Takes Us To New Heights & Dark Locations
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of March 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
The Climb A new trailer for The Climb has been released and it shows off some new caves and an alpine locale crafted just for The Climb With all the VR news out there due to GDC it looks like we get to add yet another bit in there in terms of The Climb. At least this time it is for some software that Crytek is working on and not some new hardware and pricing that will be debated for hours on end. What good is the hardware without titles like The Climb to help show things off and get players actually trying out things they may be a bit too timid to try in the first place? The Oculus hardware needs to be more than just experiences or it will fall flat after all. Read More...

Get A Look At DOOM's Nine Unique Multiplayer Maps
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of March 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
DOOM A new video for DOOM has been released and this one shows off nine of the maps that will be included in DOOM's multiplayer during the beta & at launch The multiplayer beta for DOOM is only a few weeks out now and we haven't yet been able to see the maps that we will be killing each other on. This could be a good ploy by Bethesda to keep us all on our toes or it could be that id Software is still wrapping up a build just for the beta and they aren't done yet. Looks like whatever the case was before it is no longer the case as now we have a nice quick look at the nine maps coming to DOOM and that will be available to play when the beta goes live on March 31st for everyone lucky enough to be in on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Review — Hitman — Paris
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of March 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Hitman We sit down and review Hitman — Paris. This is the first episode of Io Interactive's latest addition to the Hitman franchise. Here's our review on how they did. The wait is finally over and the multi-delayed Hitman has been released. Well at least the first full episode and the prolog that many of us had a chance to experience during the beta that Square Enix put on for us. That was a nice taste but the maps were small and tight and it is time to see what Io Interactive has in store for us as we move forward with the rest of the content coming for Hitman. Here's our review of the first "episode" of the game just for you to read. Read More...

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice Is The New Name & Making Humans In The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of March 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Hellblade Hellblade has a new name as we are introduced to Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and also shown how the dev team is making a virtual human in the gameplay It looks like we have a new name to settle on for Hellblade as it looks like a subtitle is going to extend it out just a bit further with Senua's Sacrifice. If I had to make an educated guess I'd say this is all based on Ninja Theory finally figuring out exactly where the story of the game is going and what we can expect when it finally hits the PS4 and PC sometime this year. Another great sign as I know I have been excited for Hellblade to come out since I saw the first bit that they ended up scrapping to improve upon. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of March 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
System Shock The first bit of gameplay for System Shock Remastered has made it online and now we can see how we may be experiencing System Shock in a different way It was out there in the ether of the internet for a while now but here we go with actual footage of System Shock. Don't think you've lost your mind or anything but it looks like Night Dive Studios has opted to show us all how much work they have placed into remaking/remastering the classic System Shock for the Xbox One and PC. I bet you thought they had dropped it all just to work on the third title in the franchise that was just announced not that long ago. You would be wrong. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of March 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
TMNT New gameplay for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan has been placed out there and it shows off the turtles in action as well as TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan's release date While a lot of the wait for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan news has been all over the place it looks like the wait for the actual game to release is a lot closer than we could have imagined. Platinum Games has stepped up and it looks like we are now getting the game on May 24th. Just as I assumed from before so that Activision could work in tandem with the new film's release and TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan to try and capitalize on that extra dollar. Read More...

King’s Quest Third Episode Is A Romcom & Almost Ready To Play
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of March 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
King’s Quest The third episode of King’s Quest now has a release date and is slated to bring a romantic comedy to the King’s Quest story thus far Another good chunk of time has gone by since the last episode of King’s Quest was released and it looks like the third episode isn't going to be too far off as we now have a release date for it. Not only that but it looks like from the description that has been revealed by The Odd Gentlemen it looks like we are going to be in for some kind of romantic comedy when all things are said and done. It will also make us question a few things we assumed from Sierra's version of King’s Quest already set in motion. Read More...
