A couple new trailers for Eat Sleep Play's Twisted Metal have been released, one featuring my favorite character, Mr. Grimm and the other featuring Dollface. The trailers showcase a little bit of each characters back story, a hefty dose of heavy metal and some sweet, sweet game play. I grew up playing the original Twisted Metal games, so seeing one of my favorite childhood franchises come back guns blazing in a hail of fire and bullets makes me crack a smile across my face, ear to ear. The first trailer is Mr. Grimm, who is a different person from the last installment (Twisted Metal: Black) but is just as cool, showing us some of his signature weapons like the "Flame Saw" which is an exploding chainsaw that has been grinding on the concrete for a few hundred feet. In my long and weary travels through the harsh and sometimes beautiful lands of the internet, I have come across a video on YouTube by the username of "TheBioshockMovie" which only has one upload which was about a week ago. The upload is titled "BioShock Movie (2013) - Trailer". While it's more of a teaser, this fan-made video has definitely impressed me. The teaser starts off with some junk on a beach as the camera pans to the right we see a wallet, a shoe and then a man. A man who just happens to be holding a Big Daddy doll, then a sharp cut to a real life big daddy, a man screaming and what seems to be the man holding the doll getting swept away from a surge of water. Today it was announced that Zachary Levi will be hosting the 2011 Video Game Awards on Spike TV. Before you click away from this article and roll your eyes, let's take a look at the VGAs and this press release in particular before you pre-judge the fledgling award show. Well, it's that time of year again. Leaves are falling. It's getting colder. And like clockwork, a new Call Of Duty has hit the streets. Not that I should really have to say it, but that would be Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for those who didn't see the title or clicked in at random. The wait is now over GTA fans. The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto V can be seen below in all of its glory. At least in the glory of having a trailer that really doesn't tell us much. Outside of heavy hints at a Los Angeles-type setting and a time period of being current. But hey, it is better than just having a tweet that said the game was coming. We all get to see that the game is in full production and not just some pre-production limbo for now. Just in the nick of time, Spider-Man is back in another game for us to take on the many comic book villains who plague New York in Spider-Man: Edge Of Time. While not a direct sequel to last year's Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, it does have at least two of the dimensions represented and makes reference to the "Other Guys" from the game. It was a sweltering summer afternoon, my friend Curt and I were sheltered by an air conditioner on full blast. I am both a fan of X-men and comic books in general. I have many fond memories of playing the four-player, beat-em up style Konami arcade game back in the 80's and I have spent more than a few hours playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 with my buddies. Silicon Knights' newest title, X-Men: Destiny, should have been a no-brainer - backed by such a great concept as it boasted being the next great brawling action game where you could create the mutant you always believed should be in this universe. Unfortunately due to its execution, the game becomes really diluted, which knocks it down a few notches on the likeability scale.
