So I was reading an opinion piece on Kotaku all about how Shigeru Miyamoto thinks he makes game that appeal to people of all ages - not just kids. The writer of the Kotaku piece made the comparison between Nintendo and Pixar, who has made arguably the best animated films of all time that are characteristically appealing to young children and adults alike. In an age of sequels and cashing in, it is no surprise that Mario&Sonic will be returning to the Nintendo Wii and DS later this year.  Already leaked two days ago, today Sega and Nintendo jointly announced the great duo's return to Olympic competition.  I am sure that also returning with this installment will be a lot of waggle and sore arms.  The press release mentions use of the balance board which will be an improvement for certain, but here's hoping they also implement Wii Motion Plus for more accurate gameplay.  No screens or gameplay as of yet, but you can view the trailer now on their launch site. Mario Theme Played with RC Car and Bottles This was just too awesome to not talk about. Once you watch it, you will be in total agreement. Or I will just be that jerk that said you would...please don't make me that jerk. :) Like the description says, a group of guys got together and actually set it up so they could drive an RC car and play the legendary theme using just wine bottles and metal things. Some good news for you Wii lovers: This Nintendo press release announces that the publisher will release their next major game for the Wii, the highly anticipated racing game Mario Kart Wii, on April 27 in the US. This date is just two days before the release of Rockstar's PS3-Xbox 360 game Grand Theft Auto IV on April 29. Mario Kart Wii will come with the Wii Wheel controller attachment which will also be sold as a separate product. The 3D Mario Wii Case Ok, I know we got a load of fans for the Nintendo here. Hell I am too, but not as much as this person.
