by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of August 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Predator During the opening event for Gamescom, Predator: Hunting Grounds had some new gameplay drop out there to see the new take on the Predator IP We have had a few months to take in the announcement for Predator: Hunting Grounds popping up out there and now we are back with a look at some actual gameplay for the game. Just about as I suspected when it did not show up at E3, I knew IllFonic would drop it during Gamescom. There is still so much time before we get this Predator title, that they could have waited a bit longer, but here we are with the first taste. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of August 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Death Stranding Meet some new characters for Death Stranding and dive a bit deeper into what the gameplay of Death Stranding may actually hold when it launches We may need to wait until the Tokyo Game Show next month to see all of the new footage for Death Stranding, but during the opening event for Gamescom we did get a nice big treat to a few things. Not too surprising given how Kojima Productions rolls and likes to troll their fans. Thankfully, though, we did get a nice new treat of characters and actual gameplay for Death Stranding to leave us all further confused and questioning things along the way toward November 8th here. Those Who Remain New visuals for Those Who Remain have been released for Gamescom and they show off a bit more of the darker side of Those Who Remain It is always a fun time when Gamescom rolls around as it always seems like games that may have been forgotten come back up, as is the case here for Those Who Remain. We last heard anything about this game back in 2018 when Camel 101 first announced it was in the works. It caught eyes due to some of the visuals for this psychological horror title, and it looks like that keeps coming. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of August 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Twin Mirror New gameplay for Twin Mirror is here to highlight two new gameplay mechanics we will have to use through each episode of Twin Mirror A few new surprises have cropped up for Twin Mirror here recently with one of the big ones being that the game is going to be episodic. This is not that odd given the craze that this style has been in the past years and the fact that this is DontNod making the game. It really feels like something we should have all be expecting. Although, with the twist that there will only be three episodes for Twin Mirror with the first launching in 2019, I guess it is fair to see why we missed the clues. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]

The event may be done and gone, but that does not mean that Ubisoft did not have a whole lot to show off out at the event in terms of the two protagonists and the gameplay demo that was out there for fans and media. In fact, the demo also showed off more of the end game content we will have to contend with when it comes to truly completing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey before all of the DLC starts to drop and fills our time until 2020 when the next one will most likely be dropping. A Plague Tale The gameplay from A Plague Tale: Innocence’s E3 demo is now here for all to see and experience all of the gameplay options in A Plague Tale Just in case my words from the E3 impressions for A Plague Tale: Innocence did not paint the best brain picture for you, or you just wanted to see how the gameplay actually rolled out, then get ready for a whole lot of it out of Gamescom. It seems like a long wait for Asobo Studio to actually give this out the public in a solid way, but it is what it is.
