We got a release date for the game and a view of what the PC box will look like, but what about an update on what the game looks like. We haven't had a good one of those since around the time of E3. Am I right? Of course I am. Well let's take a look at some of the new creatures to kill and environments to come to us this September 30th. Having had actual hands-on with the beta of the game, I can assure you that what you see below is what the in-game will look like; if you have a system that can handle it. Finally A Date For Final Fantasy XIV

The fantasy is back and it is never final as Square-Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XIV will have a global PC release date of September 30th. For those who will get the Collector's Edition, they will be able to access the game eight days prior to the Standard Edition. The prices for the Standard and Collector's Edition are $49.99 and $74.99, respectively, which is really not that bad for what they offer in the Collector's Edition. Read More...

E3 2010 Hands-On: Final Fantasy XIV

Now here is a title that I was overly excited to get to look at, and that is all I planned on happening this year at E3. Little did I know we would actually get to play hands on this up-and-coming bad-ass "sequel" in the Final Fantasy franchise. Hands-on with two of the major components for an MMO to boot: the character creation and a bit of the combat system. Let me break them down into two sections for you, with pictures. So we were all promised a big announcement from Square Enix about Final Fantasy XIII today (11/13/09). I'm sure we all figured it would drop out to us sometime later in the day. Like near the close of the day. But surprise surprise, look what we all get to look at early from Square Enix. A "developer" diary of sorts showcasing some of the action and events from the game. Final Fantasy Keeps On Shooting More Screens

E3 Impression: Final Fantasy

In the land where Fantasy is real, and the Final chapter is never ending, Square-Enix has always been one of the main RPG makers around the world and this year at E3 they left nothing behind. During last year's E3, at the Microsoft Press Conference, Square-Enix dropped a bombshell when they announced that Final Fantasy XIII will be on the Xbox 360 (boooooo…just kidding) and it sparked the ever question of if the system itself can handle a game of that magnitude. Well at E3 2009 Square-Enix showed us all what the game would look like on the Xbox 360 for the first time. Fantasy Demo Finally

Final Fantasy XIII Demo While the official release date for the Demo for FFXIII isn't slated until, well today in Japan (3amish on the 16th as of this post), it didn't stop some people from getting their copies a bit early. Which of course doesn't stop them from taking screen shots and post video of the game online. Huzzah interwebs! Fighting The Stills

More Screen Shots Of Final Fantasy XIII While there is no confirmation on when the US will get their version of the FFXIII demo, the Japanese got one with the re-release of Advent Children, and only rumors of such a thing, what are we outside of Japan to do? Outside of try to find videos of the demo on youtube, or fuzzy screen shots of said demo, or poor translations from blogs about said demo, or well I could go on and on but I won't. But hopefully you get the point there. Well we are kind of in luck if the "Special Look" at FFXIII on the BluRay US version of the game turns out to be just another trailer for the game.
