by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of March 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site Another week done and even more video games to look and have enjoyed. This was a rather upbeat week for it all as well now wasn't it? We had plenty of new stuff out of PAX East to look at like the new stuff for Friday The 13th and the next episode of The Walking Dead. We were also able to see Injustice 2 add Firestorm to the ranks for us. To top it off we also had a wonder review out there for Styx: Shards Of Darkness. Read More...

This Is How Source Crystals For Injustice 2 Work & Not Make It Pay To Win
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 We have some new information on Injustice 2's Source Crystals and what they do as well as a good look at Injustice 2's version of Firestorm now We are back again with more Injustice 2 new and updates and while this isn't anything in lines with a new character reveal, we do have a new look at just how character customization and Source Crystals will work in the game. Source Crystal being the in-game currency for those who want to make their specific characters have a look and feel other than what NetherRealm Studios has provided out the gate. Also for those who want to have some of those premier skins in Injustice 2 without needing to buy the larger bundles of the game before May 16th. Read More...

It's Time To Meet Drack In Mass Effect: Andromeda & Have More Gameplay
by Julia Schoebel [ Wednesday, 15th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Mass Effect Another member of Mass Effect: Andromeda's Pathfinder team has been given the introduction as well as a lot of Mass Effect: Andromeda spoiler gameplay Another day and even more Mass Effect: Andromeda news and updates. This time around we have not only a new look and introduction to another character in the game, but given that it is launching on March 21st for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, we also have a nice little visual breakdown for the game. All of that and it also looks like BioWare was nice enough to spoil the opening to Mass Effect: Andromeda here for those who just can't wait until next week to get the game in their hands. Read that as we have gameplay of the opening mission to the game as well as some of the cut-scenes that go along with all of that. Read More...

Drawn To Death Is Coming Free For PS Plus & Bringing Amazing New Things
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Drawn To Death It has just been announced that Drawn To Death will be free for all PS Plus players out there and Drawn To Death will be bringing more exciting extras Back in February we had word that Drawn To Death finally had a set release date of April 4th but also that it was going to run the cost of $20 USD when it was first brought up as free-to-play. This brought on a lot of concern and questions for Bartlet Jones as to what had changed and if it would eventually become one of the titles that PS Plus brought us for free on our PS4. As it turns out, Drawn To Death will be coming to the PS Plus service for free and that "eventually" timeline asked is the same as its launch date. Read More...

Squad-Up With Mass Effect: Andromeda's New Multiplayer Mode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Mass Effect The multiplayer for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been shown off here and now we can see just how our friends can help us in Mass Effect: Andromeda in-game Questions on Mass Effect: Andromeda's multiplayer mode have been all the rage as of late since it was let loose that BioWare was not going to be having any kind of 'beta' before March 21st when it is supposed to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. I've seen people go as far as claim that there will be no multiplayer at launch due to that, but I'm here to tell you that all is bupkis as we now have a good look at it all. Don't get your little Mass Effect hearts all worked up for nothing except for the excitement that the game is almost here now. Read More...

Our First Look At Episode 3 Of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Is Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We have our first look at The Walking Dead: A New Frontier episode three and it looks like The Walking Dead universe is kicking the game up a notch It has taken a bit longer than I thought, but it looks like we finally have our first taste of episode three for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. I know I was hoping for it to come shortly after last month's physical release but it looks like we still have a bit to wait as it will be hitting us on March 28th for now. That doesn't mean that Telltale Games didn't have something to show everyone out at PAX East though as a nice little teaser for this new episode of The Walking Dead was shown off and, in typical fashion, make it looks like the shit is truly hitting the fan. Injustice 2 Is Set Ablaze As Firestorm Has Now Been Confirmed On The Roster
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 Another new character for Injustice 2 has been announced and it looks like Firestorm will be joining in on the Injustice 2 fight at launch now Another week and yet another Injustice 2 character getting announced and added into the fight. This time we have Firestorm getting the confirmation and shown off here. Mark another off the "leaked" list of characters that NetherRealm Studios is bringing to us in Injustice 2 here on May 16th. This leaves only four more on said list to be shown off and then the others that have not been mentioned thus far, but for now we will focus on Firestorm and the little bit of gameplay that we have to see for the character. Friday The 13th: The Game Gets A Killer New Trailer & Jasons Galore
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 13th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th During PAX East, Friday The 13th: The Game had not only a new trailer drop but also a brand new Jason for the Friday The 13th franchise to carry on I hope you are ready for a huge dump of visuals and gore for Friday The 13th: The Game as it looks like we have a plethora of it here fresh from PAX East. As has been the case for some time, Gun Media brought a whole lot more to the convention as we all still wait for that Early 2017 release date to finally come so we can start killing everyone on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. In terms of what they actually brought was a look at many of the never seen kills, Locations, and Jasons for Friday The 13th: The Game that Illfonic has been plugging away at so we can all experience the fun. Mass Effect: Andromeda Gets A Whole Lot More Shown Off Just Before Launch
by Duke Searles [ Friday, 10th of March 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Mass Effect The launch trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda is out to look upon and there have also been a lot more on this new Mass Effect's features & characters With still only a little more than a week until we are all playing Mass Effect: Andromeda and forgetting everything else that is out for now, it looks as if BioWare opted to give us another massive information dump for the new game as well as a pretty solid looking launch trailer well before it is generally warranted. I'm not going to complain as the more I get to see for Mass Effect: Andromeda the happier and more excited I get for sure. More so when it is all done in an extremely cinematic way which is even more fitting for the whole franchise so far and I personally applaud it all. Read More...

The Winds Of Change Are Being Summoned Up In Paragon As Yin Joins The Fight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of March 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Paragon The next character for Paragon has been revealed and we will all see Yin join the Paragon roster here next week in the usual update Another three weeks have gone by and here we are yet again with another fighter to join in for Paragon. It's hard sometimes to realize that much time has actually passed here and now we have one more character added in by Epic Games, but none the less here we go. This new Paragon hero is Yin and she looks like she is here to whip everyone into shape as well as use the winds of the world to her advantage. At least that is how the description goes and we'll know for sure when she officially adds to the ranks on March 14th during the normal update that comes every three weeks. Read More...

Injustice 2's Alliances Get Shatters As More Join The Fight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of March 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 The second part of Injustice 2's Shattered Alliances trailer has been released and we get more heroes added to Injustice 2's roster with a few more glimpses Not too long ago we had a chance to see part one of the main Injustice 2 story that we will be fighting along in. It looked amazing and focused a lot more on the Superman side of the story but now we get to see just how the other half of the fight is living and fighting back as NetherRealm Studios has brought us the second part of it all. Not only that but it looks like we have a few new confirmed fighters for Injustice 2 and if you look hard enough you can see that there are a few others in the background. Things are truly starting to pick up here for the game as May 16th approaches us with the speed of the Flash. Read More...

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War Has Its First Bit Of Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of March 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War The first bit of gameplay for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is finally here and now we can see how Shadow Of War has progressed from its predecessor Just as promised last week, here we go with some solid new gameplay for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War. Not only does it show off some amazing combat but it looks like Monolith Productions has gone out of their way to vastly improve the Nemesis mechanic in the game as it could very well leap over to many other aspects and characters in the game. Mix that in with some cinematic and over-the-top looking battles, Shadow Of War looks just like where the game needed to head toward and so far so good. Especially since it looks like things can go well or south real fast depending on how you deal with the aftermath of taking down an enemy stronghold. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of March 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Mass Effect A few more videos for Mass Effect: Andromeda have released to show us the worlds we'll explore in Mass Effect: Andromeda and some of the characters helping us along One of the bigger things we will be doing in Mass Effect: Andromeda is exploring new worlds to find a suitable home for us to grow and flourish on. At least that is what the videos and descriptions we've been getting have been pointing to. More so now that we have another taste of the game from BioWare that directs us all to look at six new planets for us to explore and colonize in Mass Effect: Andromeda. Read More...
