Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Here we go with one of the last weeks of video games before everything explodes with E3 here. I figured this would be one of the slower weeks as all of the good news and updates would be held until next week, and for the most part I was right. Injustice 2 Red Hood has been slated to come to Injustice 2 in June and now we not only know when he'll join Injustice 2 but we can see more of his action If you've been keeping up with Injustice 2 since launch then it is no surprise to you that Red Hood is one of the DLC characters that will be coming to the game. Hells, if you've updated the game on the PS4 or Xbox One to the latest build that NetherRealm Studios has put out there then you definitely know as he and silhouettes of the other fighters can also be seen in the game. Pretty much as the team has been getting Injustice 2 ready for all of the future characters to flow on in and now it looks like June 13th will be the day that Red Hood becomes available to all those who want to play as him. Shadow Of War A new story trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has released and shows just what the new ring in Shadow Of War can and will do For a game that needed to be delayed until October 10th, there sure is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War to go around here and I have a feeling there will be a lot more given its presence at E3 this year. If I had to guess it was less with Monolith Productions needing more time to polish or whatever and more to get the buzz going and the marketing campaigns to a high. Either way, there is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War out there to take in with more on the way and here we go today with more on the story with an official story trailer for the game. The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — From The Gallows. This is the final episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did It may have had a slow start to get going, but here we go with the end of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's season here. Technically this would be the end of the third season of the franchise from Telltale Games but given the new title it can be seen as its own thing in a shared universe. No matter which way you want to take it, here we are at the end of this season of The Walking Dead and in turn the conclusion of this story and hopefully closure on all of the other events and choices in the game so far. Need For Speed A new Need For Speed title is on its way as Need For Speed Payback has been announced and aims to pull into our homes this coming November Look out as we have a new driving game coming our way as Need For Speed Payback has been given the full announcement treatment and has already been given a release date for us to look to. The name may be a bit of a throw off for those who have been fans of the franchise for a while, but Payback is the latest from Ghost Games to come out for us on all the major platforms and coming on November 10th this year. Seems about right as there hasn't been much word on Need For Speed here in a while and now that we have word it makes sense to not have to wait too long to get it in our hands. Read More...

The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Thicker Than Water. This is the fourth episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did We've made it almost to the end of the story of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and things are starting to boil up and over for the group here. Just about right for the fourth episode of any of Telltale Games' titles out there and here we are with it. Paragon The next Paragon hero has been shown off and you can expect this monkey to hit Paragon here on Tuesday after another three week wait for a new hero It was only a matter of time before Paragon got it, as every MOBA does have the character type, but it looks like the next hero to land will be a Monkey King style character named Wukong. It seemed like only a matter of time before Epic Games placed this kind of character in there and as of June 6th you will be able to play as Wukong on the PC and PS4 versions of the game. This brings us to 33 different heroes for Paragon by my count, I may be off, but it does look like there are now even more options out there than what came at launch. Read More...

Shadow Of War It looks like Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has been delayed a bit as the team aims to make Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War a better title…somehow I hope you weren't still looking for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War to launch this August as it has sadly been delayed out from the initial date we were given. It looks like Monolith Productions needs more time to perfect the game and the Nemesis gameplay so now we have to wait. How much longer of a wait? Read More...

Injustice 2 The first DLC character for Injustice 2 is going to be Red Hood and here's a look at him in action for Injustice 2 as he stands Hopefully by now you have been enjoying Injustice 2 and everything that it has to offer us all out there. I know I have and I am looking forward to everything that NetherRealm Studios has to bring us as we start to venture into the DLC character add-ons and other events they have planned. More so now that we know that Red Hood will be coming as the first DLC character for Injustice 2 and is slated to come sometime in June now for both the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. Not only for those who picked up the Ultimate Edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, but also as a solo purchase for those who want to get their extra fighters that way. Read More...

I could have sworn it would have been a silent week given the proximity of E3, but it looks like they had to get all of the Far Cry 5 news out there to get us all hyped up for the video games still to come in the next few weeks. That and keep our minds off the delay of Red Dead Redemption 2 a bit and then be excited to see that LawBreakers is heading to the PS4 as well now. The Walking Dead The final trailer for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's season finale is here to give us a taste of the latest story in The Walking Dead I was beginning to think that we wouldn't be seeing a full trailer for the final episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier here, but here we are with it. It is starting to feel like Telltale Games is mixing up all of their usual patterns but in a really good way. None the less though, we have a new trailer for this title in The Walking Dead franchise just days before we can dive right in and wrap up this whole part of the story on May 30th. Read More...

Dead Alliance Another zombie multiplayer title, Dead Alliance, is on the way out there and a lot of Dead Alliance looks to build on other title's failures If you were hoping that the zombie multiplayer game was going to take a break here then you may want to forget that as it looks like we have Dead Alliance on its way to bring us even more of the zombies and more of the four on four multiplayer shooter gameplay. Yes, it looks like we will have another one added into the mix here from Psyop Games and Maximum Games. All on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 29th. Read More...

The Walking Dead A new look at the choices of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier that we've experienced is here just before the last episode of The Walking Dead's finale episode of the season As the next and last episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's season comes at us, it looks like it is a bit of time to look back at the season so far and some of the big choices we've had to make during the run of the season. While it still has a lot to do to be one of my favorite Telltale Games to date, they sure have crafted a fun experience that deviates perfectly from the comics and previous seasons to keep us all guessing and wanting to see more of the human experience in this way. Red Dead Redemption 2 It looks like Red Dead Redemption 2 will now release in 2018 but we do have some new Red Dead Redemption 2 screenshots to gaze at We all hate delays but sometimes it is for the better and hopefully that will be the case here for Red Dead Redemption 2 as it has now been hit with a delay. Even though there wasn't a release date specifically set for the game, Rockstar Games did state that they were aiming to get the game out on the PS4 and Xbox One by this Fall. Now the wait will be a little bit longer as Red Dead Redemption 2 will not be coming to us until sometime in Spring of 2018. Read More...

Star Wars A new part of Star Wars Battlefront II's developer diaries has been released to go into some of the moral grey areas in the Star Wars universe While I wish we had more to show off in terms of gameplay for Star Wars Battlefront II, it looks like what we have here is a new developer diary for the game to gaze upon. Pretty much more on what DICE was getting into with their last one only that they talk a bit more on the morally grey portions of the IP and franchise; that and we'll be able to experience some of this in the new game. If I had to guess I would say that EA is holding all of the juicier parts of Star Wars Battlefront II until E3 or D23 here soon, but none the less this is a great reminder that it is coming and a bit more of what to expect on November 17th.
