Ancestors Will Place Us In The Heat Of Medieval Battles
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Ancestors A new in-engine video for Ancestors has been released to show us just how the Ancestors RTS feel will go between god and unit It's going to sound odd talking about Ancestors here knowing that there are two titles coming out with that as the main title for the game. The version we are going to talk about here though is the RTS title coming from 1C and Destructive Creations for the Xbox One and PC and not the weird ancient history simulator that we've heard a little about before. This version of Ancestors will be taking us through history, but all in the vein of murdering each other in glorious battle between four different nations. All based on historically accurate battles and wars that have taken place between the Vikings, Anglo-Saxons, Germans, Slavs. Read More...

Total War: Warhammer II Shows Off A New Race & In-Game Footage
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Total War Not long ago it was announced that Total War: Warhammer II was coming and now we have a look at some in-game footage for Total War: Warhammer II with a new race of lizardmen Back in March we all caught wind of Total War: Warhammer II coming to our PCs sometime in 2017 but it was all done in a cinematic trailer that didn't do much but show us that the game was coming and to expect more. No slight to Creative Assembly for what they gave us, but I know I am not a fan of just cinematic trailers and then nothing to go one from there. Sure we found out that there would be elves in Total War: Warhammer II but I prefer gameplay and something more akin to what we will be getting in a final build. Read More...

Paragon Phases In Another Character To Punk All Of Your Opponents
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Paragon The next character to join the fight of Paragon has been shown off and looks to add a lot of flair to Paragon in the coming week There has been so much going on in gaming recently that I've almost forgot about Paragon and all of the new heroes that are coming to the game. Here we are with yet another on that is coming to the game here on May 16th and she looks to add a whole lot of flair to Epic Games' MOBA title on the PC and PS4. At least as much flair that we can expect in Paragon but it does look like a page was taken from the most recent inFAMOUS title when it comes to powers and abilities. At least if you go with the neon powers and all of that stuff that comes with it. Read More...

In Case You Missed Out, Here's Everything You Need To Know For Injustice 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 As Injustice 2 is just about to launch, it is time to get a full recap on all of Injustice 2's ins and outs so we are all completely ready for launch We are a week out from the launch of Injustice 2 and it feels like we've seen and heard all there is for the game already. Outside of the finer details of the story in the game and specific gear we can collect, NetherRealm Studios has given us quite a lot to go on to make up our minds on if we are going to give the game a go here on the 16th. Hells, we only have a few more DLC characters to get shown off for Injustice 2 and we would have the whole package. I'm going to guess that we won't see those until well after launch but there is still a week and a lot planned up to then, so that may be changed up. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/1/17 — 5/5/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of May 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was one of the more exciting weeks for video games that we've had in quite some time now wasn't it? I know it was for me as we had a whole lot get shown off this week and we also had Darksiders III get an official announcement out there. We also had a lot more hype for Friday The 13th: The Game and a look at the full roster for Injustice 2 and some of the new DLC that will be coming for it. All of that and a few reviews for a few video games that have made a whole lot of page space on the site here over the last few months and years. Read More...

Injustice 2's First Three DLC Characters Have Been Revealed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 Some of the Injustice 2 speculation can be put to rest as the first three of nine DLC characters coming to Injustice 2 have been revealed It looks like the full roster for Injustice 2 has been set down already and now we get to venture into the DLC character world of the game. We do that here today as NetherRealm Studios has just dropped the first trailer showing off the first three characters we will get here on May 16th or some time afterwards. There have been nine spoken of for the full DLC release on the PS4 and Xbox One, but these three happen to be the one you get for Injustice 2 if you want to only pick up the Digital Deluxe Edition and nothing more. So it is time to take note and see if you need to upgrade or chance any of those pre-orders. Read More...

Space Hulk: Deathwing Is Getting An Enhanced Edition For Consoles In Q4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Space Hulk While Space Hulk: Deathwing may have released on PCs already, the wait for the console version of Space Hulk: Deathwing continues but will be getting big enhancements Since Space Hulk: Deathwing launched near the end of last year on the PC it has been met with a few mixed reviews but still seems to be holding strong with the core fans of the universe. Something I am going to guess is to the pleasure of Streum On Studio as they are still working on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game so that even more fans can have access to it. I was under the assumption a while ago that Space Hulk: Deathwing was going to hit all platforms at the same time and was a bit let down that it missed the mark. Read More...

Review — Drawn To Death
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Drawn To Death We sit down and review Drawn To Death. It's a new shooter/brawler that take place on a teenager's notebook of doom. Here's our review of Drawn To Death Today is the last day that you PS Plus members can pick up Drawn To Death and then it flows on out into the purchase arena for everyone. Given that fact, we thought it would be high-time to throw together our review of the game and how Bartlet Jones has done with it all over the last month so you can figure out if it is worth the time and money to add it to your PS4. We also wanted to make sure we took our time and watched as Drawn To Death grew and evolved as a good multiplayer title must to keep the fans happy. Read More...

The Joker Is Back In Injustice 2's Multiverse And More
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 A lot more for Injustice 2 has been revealed which brings the Joker back to Injustice 2 as well as how 'towers' are going to be a part of the game There was a whole lot that just dropped for Injustice 2 here recently and it confirmed what a lot of people suspected for a while. We had yet another character revealed, and unless the NetherRealm Studios website isn't listing the DLC characters right now, this will be the last for the core roster before May 16th. Seeing as Darkseid is on the current list for said site, we are supposed to have nine more DLC characters for Injustice 2, and we have nine open slots on the list it seems likely but maybe they will surprise us with nine more starting characters and then nine more DLC. Doubtful, but we can hope. Read More...

Injustice 2 Unleashes The Lord Of Apokolips On Us All
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 The most recent character revealed for Injustice 2, in terms of gameplay, is Darkseid who is still listed as Injustice 2's pre-order bonus We still have another character to see this week for Injustice 2 but that doesn't mean that we won't have a nice little showing of a different one out there. While what we have here isn't a full unannounced character from NetherRealm Studios, it is our first real look at Darkseid in the game outside of just a pretty face. He is still the pre-order bonus for Injustice 2 before you get too worried that he has been added in for all no matter when they get the game, but he now has a full showing to impress us. It's Almost Time To Get Our Answers In Perception Real Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Perception The release date for Perception has finally been set and we get a bunch of new looks at Perception as we have to wait another month now The wait is almost over as the big question for Perception has now been answered. That question being "when will we actually get to play this game?" It is answered now as The Deep End Games has given us such a date to look to and get ready to see the game on our PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Keep an eye out as now it looks like Perception is coming to us all on May 30th now. Of course I say now as in this is the first date we've been given to look forward to and not that the game has been delayed. Read More...

Night Trap Is Getting A Re-Release On The PS4 & Xbox One Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Night Trap Even with the failed Night Trap Kickstarter from years ago, it looks like Night Trap is getting a re-release for the current gen consoles sometime soon Well mark this in one that came out of left field, but it looks like we are getting a re-release for Night Trap only 25 years after it started a weird thing. The weird thing being the ERSB and such but let's skip that and move onto the announcement that Limited Run Games and Screaming Villains are putting the game together again for all of us to enjoy or see what the camp 90's horror game had for us all. I am sure all of you youngling’s here have no clue what Night Trap but it is something to be excited for as it jumps from the Sega CD over to the PS4 and Xbox One sometime soon. Read More...

Final Fantasy VII Remake & Kingdom Hearts III Unlikely in 2017
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Thursday, 27th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy VII It looks like Final Fantasy VII Remake & Kingdom Hearts III might miss their projected 2017 release. Sorry Final Fantasy VII fans There are some rumors that have existed for ages. One of which is so old I don’t remember where I read it was that the third installment of Kingdom Hearts would be released in 2013. The other has been around almost as long as I have been alive being that a remake of Final Fantasy VII would be coming. In the past few years these two things have actually been confirmed. Brainiac Is Here For Injustice 2 & Completely Dominating The Fights
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 We've seen a bit of Brainiac for Injustice 2 already but now we have a better look at him in Injustice 2 and how rough he will be We've seen Brainiac teased in Injustice 2 a few times before now and then we had a chance to see his part of the overall story in the game. None of which has seemed to show off his ability to fight in the game but has left us all to wonder a bit and know that NetherRealm Studios will take care of us at the end of the day. The wait and wonder is over though as we now have a solid look at how Brainiac will fight in Injustice 2 and it is mechanical tentacles aplenty just as we could assume there would be. There may be more to Brainiac when we play the game on May 16th, but for now this is what we have for the character outside of the crazy story we've seen. Read More...

Will Blood Be Thicker Than Water In The Walking Dead: A New Frontier
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The fourth episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier has been given a release date and it looks like we'll be back in The Walking Dead a lot sooner than we thought Talk about a turnaround for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and how Telltale is going to bring it to us as it looks like the fourth episode of the game will be out on April 25th now. Yes, that is only a few days away from right now and it brings them back on par with how they have been handling many of their other recent titles. I won't lie that I was a bit let down with the three month gap from the two episode premiere of this season of The Walking Dead but hopefully this will stay the trend for Telltale Games as we press forward with this IP and all the others they are bringing us.
