Atlus Online announced earlier today its plans for the intial run of its beta testing for their upcoming MMORPG, Neo Steam: The Shattered Continent. They will be limiting it to 2,000 random participants, including previous Neo Steam contest winners, to receive a Golden Ticket. Preordering Sucker Punch's inFamous will get you more than just one good game, it'll get you into a multiplayer beta of another blockbuster game, Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Completely unknown is what the multiplayer entails. Co-op would be nice, though it wouldn't be suitable for a beta. Mirror's Edge 2D Beta I was a little shocked at how fast this was done given the fact that the full version of the game just came out a few days ago. But it looks like there is a full on Flash version of the game being done. Well maybe not a full on version, but a 2D flash version of the idea and concept behind Mirror's Edge. Currently it is only one level long, but it is very well done for being a 2D flash based game. NCsoft and TransGaming Announce City of Heroes for the Mac So it's been a long time coming, but it is finally going to happen. So good news for those Mac players that have yet to get addicted to WoW. But one of the other best MMOs will be easily available for those who love to game with a Mac. Why someone would do that I don't know. Sorry personal opinion. Preorders for Sony's highly anticipated exclusive Resistance 2 have finally gone up. Through Gamestop, PS3 owners will be able to preorder the game for the listed price of $59.99. People who do preorder the game will recieve early access to the Resistance 2 public beta which according to the order sheet is set to begin in early October. PS3 owners may just get a chance to beta test the upcoming game LittleBigPlanet early this month. One of the devolopers on the Playstation Message Board, Sam_Protagonist, let everyone in on the details.     In terms of LittleBigPlanet, the game itself is all but complete however we're looking to run a test of the sharing, uploading, downloading and multiplayer server side of the game before it launches to ensure that under a large number of users it does everything it is supposed to. This kind of testing is often referred to as a Stress Test, however we're looking a little more deeply into the game experience than simply throwing thousands of players at the online side of the game at the same time.
