Review: Star Pod
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 22nd of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Star Pod a challenging HTML5 Game from Playdor. Star Pod is a game by Playdor. It is a simple, yet challenging HTML5 game made in Construct 2 whose first ten levels have been released. The game is only available in a pre-release version. From what I have gathered you control a small UFO that must navigate the 2D levels collecting little gold rings. Starting from one platform and finishing on another. As with any game the first few levels are pretty easy. Read More...

Games in a Flash - Star Studded
by Corey Dockendorf [ Tuesday, 27th of April 2010 - 10:28 PM ]
Today we have a Star Studded Games in a Flash article for your leisure. So lets just get right into it. Beer Pong Late night with Jimmy Fallon is no stranger to beer pong, or video games, but now you can play against Higgens, Qestlove and ultimately Jimmy himself in the ultimate beer pong challenge. Jimmy Fallon has been a huge video game promoter with his late night TV Show, so we have to at least give his first flash game a bit of credit here at Aggrogamer. Gameplay: This game requires very little thought, like real beer pong, and really good timing/aim. Read More...

Games in a Flash - Revenge Of The Mouse
by Corey Dockendorf [ Thursday, 1st of April 2010 - 08:08 PM ]
Here we are again, on this Internet filled April Fools day. I'm sure you've probably killed your morning already looking at all the gags on all the websites from Gmail to Kodak. So while your already not working anyways, here are some games in Adobe Flash to contribute to your lack of work today. I thought to really add some flair, I would post games that only use the mouse to play! (I didn't want to make you work) Tactical Assassin This is an awesome first person shooter from Simon Hason and Negative Flash. Read More...

Games in a Flash: Episode 2
by Corey Dockendorf [ Thursday, 18th of March 2010 - 06:40 PM ]
Happy hang-over-after St. Patrick's day. So you're probably at home/work with a bad hang over and not really in the mood to be productive. So today I bring you three flash games to keep you entertained and highly unproductive on the tail end of this fine drinking holiday. Cream Wolf Cream Wolf is really a throw back to the 80's (for those that remember) with pixel characters, midi music, and crazy color schemes. The game is simple, drive around in your ice cream truck playing your ice cream tune until kids come running to your truck (creepy). This starts the new mini-game where you need to stack the kids order, and try and keep it as nice looking as possible to get the most points. Read More...

Games In A Flash
by Corey Dockendorf [ Thursday, 4th of March 2010 - 09:32 PM ]
Flash games are the best way to kill time at work, at school, or waiting for the next Blizzard game to be released. With all the new console games coming out every week, we seem to overlook some developers that create entertaining games for FREE! Day after day folks are pouring out innovative and new game ideas all the time. I thought I would highlight a few of these for you readers out there, because their are some games out their that are too good to miss. Robot Unicorn Attack   Yes this game looks like it's for four year old girls and ponies (and the music is something from the 80's) but it's simplicity and fast paced gameplay make this a great way to kill that 15 minute break you have in the morning. Review: Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
by Ben Brody [ Friday, 9th of October 2009 - 02:47 PM ]
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising (titled sequel to the original Operation Flashpoint from 2001, the developer, Bohemia Interactive, preferred ArmA to be the original's sequel. Dragon Rising was developed not by Bohemia Interactive, but in house by Codemasters) positions itself not so much as an action FPS but moreso as a realistic battle simulation. If you would rather have something that's more run-and-gun, one man army, headshots left and right, nade spamming, knife stabbing free for all than maybe you should stick to Battlefield: Bad Company or Call of Duty 4. But if you want something realistic that requires tact and deft to win, then OF:DR is your game. Read More...

Try Out LocoRoco 2?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of November 2008 - 10:20 PM ]
LocoRoco 2 In Flash If you have a PSP and have not tried the first one, I totally recommend it. It is addictive and so fun that you find yourself twisting your body to try and make some of the jumps and turns in the game. But this isn't why I bring this up. So what am I blathering about? Well it looks like you will be getting an early look at the new version of the game. Well somewhat. It is a flash demo of some of the things that you can look forward to when the game finally comes out or they release the PSP demo of the game. Read More...

Cheaper Mirror's Edge
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of November 2008 - 06:43 PM ]
Mirror's Edge 2D Beta I was a little shocked at how fast this was done given the fact that the full version of the game just came out a few days ago. But it looks like there is a full on Flash version of the game being done. Well maybe not a full on version, but a 2D flash version of the idea and concept behind Mirror's Edge. Currently it is only one level long, but it is very well done for being a 2D flash based game. The controls, like the actual game, take a little bit to get use to, but can make for some interesting results once mastered a bit. Read More...
