This coming Friday, Rocksteady Games is putting out the classic trilogy, again, but for the Nintendo Switch. All with the launch for the Batman: Arkham Trilogy so we can save Gotham from all of the villains at home or on the go as we so want to do. Even if we have done this a few times already on the other consoles and PC over the years. Read More...

Sometimes Sometimes journalists need to do some weird stuff as the announcement for Sometimes They Come Back shows us all It is always interesting to see how some titles try to mix in different stories into a basic FPS and here we go with Sometimes They Come Back. This is the latest title announced from Asylum Labs and Bonus Stage Publishing that will have us facing off to some weird and horrifying things out there. The bigger twist to Sometimes They Come Back is that we are looking at taking on the role of a journalist that has almost nothing left to lose and setting out to find that next big story. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Return To Arkham It looks like the delay of Batman: Return To Arkham may not be as long as most of us feared as sources claim Return To Arkham will be launching in November While this is still in the realm of speculation it looks like sources close to Batman: Return To Arkham state that we should be seeing the bundle released sometime in November of this year. At least that is what is being reported out there on Rocksteady Games' new collection after it was delayed instead of being released tomorrow. That was the original date that we were supposed to see Return To Arkham out there but things didn't look perfect according to Warner Bros. Read More...

Arkham Asylum 2 To Be 'Darker' In Tone
by Brian Goodman [ Wednesday, 21st of April 2010 - 04:11 PM ]
Thanks to 1up.com for reporting on a Chicago Comic-Con panel that long time Batman voice Kevin Conroy was speaking at. Conroy has reportedly said that Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 will be "really really dark" and that legendary, iconic villain, Two Face, will be making an appearance. I say awesome. I, like everyone else, loved everything about the first Batman: Arkham Asylum and I feel it speaks really well that an unknown newcomer like Rocksteady Games can rock our worlds with the first good Batman game ever (and a rare piece of quality licensed work). Its nice to see them not only expand deeper into the Batman universe, but also do so with the finely polished third person gameplay the market had not seen in a long while. Lets just hope as much effort goes into adding depth to the gameplay formula that made the first one so great. Read More...

Warner Bros. Will Soon Be Bringing Batman To You
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of February 2010 - 10:37 PM ]
Batman has been a staple of the Warner Bros. company for a very long time. Live action films, animated series, and a few games have been brought to us from Warner directly in the past. Now it looks like that is going to change here real soon. Especially with the most recent new franchise, Arkham Asylum. A game originally handed out to another company, Rocksteady, to design, code and build. Which they did to an extent that it won a load of awards and shipped over three million copies. Read More...

Well at least this week if you live in the United Kingdom or are willing to download across country lines. At least this is all according to the press release that was sent out about this new map. Hopefully it will be a globally released thing. In any instance, these two new challenges sound just as amazing as the last two that were released. Read More...

Batman Goes Totally Insane
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of September 2009 - 03:02 AM ]
There is no denying that Batman: Arkham Asylum is an awesome game. It is what a Batman game should be. I don't think anyone could deny that. At least without getting spammed and flamed on every gaming site out there. I smell attention whoring out there now that I mentioned that. In any instance, the core game didn't end the whole experience for gamers who loved this game. There were the challenge maps after all was said and done. 16 of them for Batman if you completed a good chunk of the Riddle's riddles. Read More...

Review: Batman: Arkham Asylum
by Jesse [ Monday, 31st of August 2009 - 07:17 PM ]
If I’m not mistaken, Batman: Arkham Asylum is the twenty-first video game centered around the Dark Knight. Going all the way back to 1986 and the first game, appropriately titled Batman, I’ve only really found a handful of the games that can be considered at the very least decent. The SNES version of Batman Returns was great as a typical side-scrolling brawling game and of course more recently there was last year’s Lego Batman which was good for a laugh or two. However nothing really captured the spirit of the character, let alone his environment and for the games that tried, they failed miserably. But Batman is one of those characters that people are willing to take a chance on. Read More...
