Get Ready To Assault Some Starfighters In Star Wars Battlefront II
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 21st of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Star Wars We get a glimpse of Star Wars Battlefront II's new mode that will have us in the cockpits of many of Star Wars' iconic space crafts and fighting ships We have all been gearing up for the massive ground battles we will have in Star Wars Battlefront II on November 17th when it all launches on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We have all been hoping that DICE would add in a few other options into the mix since the last entry for the franchise here. As it looks now, we are being granted such a new mode as Star Wars Battlefront II is now getting a Starfighter Assault mode mixed in and it sounds pretty much as you would guess. Read More...

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Looks To Have Been Leaked Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Mario A new title, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, has been leaked out early and it looks to team Mario up with some Rabbids in a weird cross-over game With E3 almost here that means that the leaks should start flowing out there and it looks like we have one here for a new title called Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Originally it was just a leak of the key art showing that Ubisoft and Nintendo were working on some kind of cross-over between the two franchises, but now it looks like part of a presentation, presumably one for E3, has popped up with some of the slides showing off this Switch title just a bit more and just what we could expect from it. I'm sure that there will be more to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle during whichever event it will be shown off in, but here is what we can gather so far from just the few slides that have "leaked" out there. There Is More To The Moral Dilemmas & Worlds In Star Wars Battlefront II
by Julia Schoebel [ Monday, 22nd of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Star Wars A new part of Star Wars Battlefront II's developer diaries has been released to go into some of the moral grey areas in the Star Wars universe While I wish we had more to show off in terms of gameplay for Star Wars Battlefront II, it looks like what we have here is a new developer diary for the game to gaze upon. Pretty much more on what DICE was getting into with their last one only that they talk a bit more on the morally grey portions of the IP and franchise; that and we'll be able to experience some of this in the new game. If I had to guess I would say that EA is holding all of the juicier parts of Star Wars Battlefront II until E3 or D23 here soon, but none the less this is a great reminder that it is coming and a bit more of what to expect on November 17th. Star Wars Battlefront II Is Going Deep Into The Story Of An Imperial Soldier
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Star Wars With Star Wars Battlefront II going into a story on the side of the Empire, the team for this new Star Wars goes into how they are going to make it exciting It caught a lot of attentions when it was announced that Star Wars Battlefront II was going to be talking the story to the side of the Empire in the overall story by following along the exploits of Imperial Commander Iden Versio. I know it caught my attentions even though there are a lot of fans that wished DICE would just pump out another title in the vein of the established heroes in the universe. I'm sure that EA would have liked to go the safe route with Star Wars Battlefront II but I'm seeing it as something that will truly shine when it launches on November 17th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Star Wars Battlefront II Will Be Bringing Us A Lot More Than Expected
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Star Wars The full announcement for Star Wars Battlefront II has been given and it looks like we will be diving into fun territories in the Star Wars universe this November There was a nice little tease last week for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II but over the weekend we all were hit with the full trailer and a whole lot of details out of the huge event that took place. Not too surprising at all that we had a lot more from EA on this game there as it was teased that at least the full trailer would be shown off, but it also came with a lot of interesting twists that DICE will be taking with the IP and franchise. Not that Star Wars Battlefront II is going to change up the canon or lore as we all know it, but with the inclusion of a campaign mode from the start and a few other items we will be looking at the franchise as a whole in a few different ways. All You Need To Know — Leaked Star Wars Battlefront II Trailer
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Thursday, 13th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Star Wars The trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II has leaked out and we have it and more for you. Here's all the Star Wars Battlefront II details you need to know I admit I was really disappointed in the remake of Star Wars Battlefront. The game played fine but was lacking a lot of what made the older games fun. I mainly picked it up for my dad to play for a few hours because some of my best memories of when he and I would play Battlefront II and hoped DICE caught that magic again. Lack of offline really hurt the game for me because while I didn’t mind it having an online focus the fact that there was a $60 season pass withholding much of the game behind a paywall forcing you to pay for a subscription in EA fashion. Battlefield 1 Couldn't Recreate The Real World Christmas Truce In The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Battlefield 1 It looks like the real word comparison to Battlefield 1 has ended for now as Battlefield 1 players fail to recreate the Christmas Truce of WWI The time has come and gone and it looks like Battlefield 1 players just couldn't hold back their killing urges long enough to try and recreate the great Christmas Truce of WWI. At least not on their own as it could have been forced by DICE and EA but it was not and only boiled down to some players trying to recreate it all as well as Battlefield 1 has been trying to do in general. It seems the killing of soldiers was more fun in a game about doing that all the other times of year than standing by and not doing that for a single day. Read More...

We Can Expect The Sequel To Star Wars Battlefront This Time Next Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of November 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Star Wars It looks like the Star Wars Battlefront sequel is aiming to release in Fall of 2017 just in time for the next Star Wars film Earlier in the year when it was brought up that Star Wars Battlefront was going to be getting a sequel it was laid out that would be the case between April and the end of next year. DICE is currently working on it all but that still leaves a pretty wide open range to expect to see the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Thankfully in the most recent investor call for EA it was let loose that we can expect to see Star Wars Battlefront sometime in Fall of 2017. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/10/16 — 10/14/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of October 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site And thus completes our week in video games. Well more the week in news and updates about games but I'm sure you get the point by now. We've been all over the place here again as we had some amazing updates for Friday The 13th and Battlefield 1. We also were able to see how fast both Hitman and King's Quest could be on getting out their next and final episodes and that is not to exclude the fact that Batman is getting another so quick as well. All kinds of great updates for our video games even if some of them seemed to be a bit basic in the end. Read More...

Take To The Skies Of Battlefield 1 On The Majestic Wings Of A… Pigeon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Battlefield 1 Details on a new mission for Battlefield 1 show that we will be playing a portion of Battlefield 1 as a pigeon to save the day We've seen some great things for Battlefield 1 so far and I know I am hyped for EA to release the game on October 21st but we have yet another mission to look at for the game and it may not be what you think. Some are questioning the minds over at DICE for this but it looks like we have a small mission mixed in where we play as a pigeon in the middle of the fire fight. That's right, Battlefield 1 will have playable pigeons in the game and it makes sense. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/3/16 — 10/7/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games Thus concludes yet another fun week in video games. It was all over the place from the look of things but we were there every step of the way to make sure that we were able to cover everything. Or at least as much as we could get to during the week. It was sad to see that Styx was hit with a delay but getting to try out Outlast 2 for the next month made up for it all. Read More...

You Are Not Expected To Survive Battlefield 1's First 12 Minutes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Battlefield 1 The first twelve minutes of Battlefield 1 have been released and it looks like Battlefield 1 is redefining how the war shooter plays out Last week we had a small showing of how Battlefield 1's campaign will play out as well as a few details on all of that. If you don't remember, DICE is taking a different path for the story and not having us follow one person or team along a path during WWI. This kind of shocked a few people out there but EA has put a lot of cash into Battlefield 1 and with its launch on October 21st here is seemed like an odd thing to hold onto up to now. Of course, many people don't look to the franchise for the campaign but it is a thing and it was very odd to hear. Read More...
