by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of March 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Dying Light A new update for Dying Light 2 is finally here and it looks as if Dying Light fans will have a reason to stop being mean to the devs Everyone out there has been waiting patiently or not-so-patiently for any kind of update for Dying Light 2 after all of the great demos and footage we had for years before 2020. Now we are a year past when Techland originally wanted to drop the game on us all and we still have nothing for it. That is, at least we do not have a playable version of Dying Light 2 in our homes currently. Read More...

Returnal Gives A Little More Story & The White Shadow
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of March 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Returnal A new story trailer for Returnal is out there to take us further down the rabbit hole for Returnal and what weirdness it might hold With each new week as we work toward Returnal's April 30th release on the PS5, we are seeing more of the story building up for the game. Something that originally looked to be just a shooter on an alien world from Housemarque is starting to look like there is something truly deeper out there. All on the psychological side of it all too with this new story trailer we have for Returnal. It is still hard to say what is truly going on here, but there are a few more things we can take away from it and maybe figure out what we will have. Read More...

The War Against Hell Ends Here In DOOM Eternal Last DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of March 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
DOOM The conclusion to the DOOM Eternal saga is coming here and we get to see a bit more for DOOM Eternal — The Ancient Gods – Part Two We have waited and now we are heading to the next big release for DOOM Eternal as of March 18th. That would be tomorrow for those reading this live and it will be a short wait to be able to see how id Software is going to wrap up this little saga we have been ripping our way through so far. This could also be the end of it all for the DOOM Slayer as he aims to take down Hell for the last time. I have a feeling this could be the end of it for this version of the game and until we get the next full release, but this is the final DLC that we will get to enjoy in this iteration. Read More...

Start Chanting The Mantras Of Survival For Outriders
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of March 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Outriders More gameplay for Outriders is out there with a new focus on the various gameplay elements we will need to master to survive Outriders There should already be quite a bit of understanding for Outriders and what we are going to have to go through to better survive the game. Most out there should have had a good chance to give the demo a play and can get ready to experience it all before April 1st here. If you are not or do not have all of the time, though, it does look like People Can Fly are looking to help out once more by giving us the mantras to live by in Outriders so we do not just keep dying and needing to repeat the areas until the end of time. That is, we have a listing of the key elements we need to pay attention to in the game here so we can go in with our weapons hot and lives secured from the launch. Read More...

Chasing Static Brings Some Low-Poly Visuals For The Current Generation
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of March 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Chasing Static The reveal of Chasing Static is here with Chasing Static giving us a low-poly game on the current-generation systems out there It seems like it is all the rage as of late to go back to a "classic" look with their video games and here we are with the reveal for Chasing Static. This would be another title that is diving into the PS1-era visuals but for the PC and consoles current and next-gen. Headware Games it taking a bit of the time to it all to offer up this title in Q3 of this year and give fans of this style of video game a new experience. It is a bit of an off thing to take in here for Chasing Static as the HUD looks like it is out of this era but the rest of the game looks to take those elements we had decades ago and thrust them back into our lives. This Week In Video Games 3/8/21 — 3/12/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 13th of March 2021 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, that certainly was a week and we are now over with it to go and enjoy some of those video games out there. Something I know I can personally need after some of the things going on out there in general. If only we did not need to wait for Evil Genius 2 and Hood to launch out there in some time and could dive into them now. I guess this is why we have a few of the other video games to enjoy and waiting to see more for It Takes Two and Aliens: Fireteam to come out over the next stretch of time. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of March 2021 - 08:00 PM ]
DARQ The release date for the DARQ: Complete Edition is announced to bring DARQ to the Switch and Next-Gen systems soon Not too long ago we all had a chance to check out the horror-puzzle title DARQ on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It is still an option out there to give a go if you want to see just what Unfold Games had to offer us all back in 2019. You could do that, or you could look ahead to March 17th and March 25th for when we will see the DARQ: Complete Edition hit the Switch and then the PS5/Xbox Series X respectively. Yes, the game is finally making the jump to the next-gens and for those that picked it up already, for a free upgrade. Read More...

Aragami 2 Has Been Delayed A Little Bit Longer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of March 2021 - 08:00 PM ]
Aragami A delay has hit Aragami 2 to push the game out a few more months to make sure we get the best Aragami title available It is always sad to see and hear things like this, but it looks like we are going to have to wait a bit longer to get our hands on Aragami 2. Yes, it has sadly been delayed by Lince Works officially now and we are going to have to wait until Q3 of 2021 to be able to get our hands on the full working version of the game. It is sad news, but in the end will give us the best version of Aragami to experience since the first title came and hit so hard. To have the follow-up release and fail would be a hard hit that they should not have to go through. Read More...

Paradise Lost The release date for Paradise Lost is now set and it looks like Paradise Lost will also be hitting other platforms too The wait is almost over for Paradise Lost here, as we have the release date for March 24th now. DOOM 3: VR Edition Is Blasting Onto The PSVR This Month
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of March 2021 - 06:00 PM ]
DOOM We are getting DOOM 3 out there one more time with the announcement for DOOM 3: VR Edition coming to the PSVR this month It looks like we are going to have a whole lot of PSVR titles coming here soon and the first one we are talking about today is the announcement for DOOM 3: VR Edition. Just as it all sounds, we are going to be getting that classic id Software title back to us in a VR setting so we can feel more of the ripping and tearing out there in the depths of Hell. Sooner or later we are probably going to see the whole DOOM IP in this setting from Bethesda, but now we can look for this to hit the PS4 and PS5 on March 29th here. I think that is the bigger surprise with it flipping out there so fast from the announcement. Read More...

Deathloop Is Further Explained With More Gameplay To Enjoy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of March 2021 - 08:00 PM ]
Deathloop The gameplay loop for Deathloop has some more footage and explanation to gear us up to enter the insanity that will be Deathloop It feels like we keep getting more and more to talk about for Deathloop as the wait still carries on as we wait until it hits the PC and PS5. I say this, as it feels like we already know the basics of it all but Arkane want to keep dropping more on us so we can better plan on how to be this assassin caught in a time loop. In fact, it is something we get to hear multiple times in the latest we have for Deathloop out of the State of Play event and just in general as we have another breakdown on how the game will flow. All of which feels like we are living in our own time…loop…I think I see what they are doing here now… All joking aside for now, we do have a bit of new gameplay to look at for Deathloop here that shows us different angles of the same things we have seen before.
