Get A Look At DOOM's Nine Unique Multiplayer Maps
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of March 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
DOOM A new video for DOOM has been released and this one shows off nine of the maps that will be included in DOOM's multiplayer during the beta & at launch The multiplayer beta for DOOM is only a few weeks out now and we haven't yet been able to see the maps that we will be killing each other on. This could be a good ploy by Bethesda to keep us all on our toes or it could be that id Software is still wrapping up a build just for the beta and they aren't done yet. Looks like whatever the case was before it is no longer the case as now we have a nice quick look at the nine maps coming to DOOM and that will be available to play when the beta goes live on March 31st for everyone lucky enough to be in on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Review — Hitman — Paris
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of March 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Hitman We sit down and review Hitman — Paris. This is the first episode of Io Interactive's latest addition to the Hitman franchise. Here's our review on how they did. The wait is finally over and the multi-delayed Hitman has been released. Well at least the first full episode and the prolog that many of us had a chance to experience during the beta that Square Enix put on for us. That was a nice taste but the maps were small and tight and it is time to see what Io Interactive has in store for us as we move forward with the rest of the content coming for Hitman. Here's our review of the first "episode" of the game just for you to read. Read More...

Nathan Is All Grown Up For Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of March 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Uncharted 4 The next dev diary for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has been released and we get a good look at how the team and Nathan have grown into Uncharted 4 Last week we had a good look at how Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has evolved from the first title from so long ago. Of course that time does wonders not only on the game but also on the team over at Naughty Dog who have been working on the franchise for so long. They have aged and they have taken that "wisdom" into thought while crafting Uncharted 4 as we get to see how everyone in the game has aged as well. Such a roundabout way to get here but now we have the latest dev diary to spy on that covers just those themes. Read More...

Thief Movie Is One The Horizon As The Rights Are Claimed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Thief The rights to do a Thief movie have been claimed and it looks like we are on the path to actually see Thief on the silver screen Rumors and murmured words have been flying around lately that we are going to be getting a Thief movie. That would be a film based on the video game franchise that Eidos-Montréal has crafted and not another movie about random people stealing things for fun. Well I guess a Thief movie would fall into that vein of thinking but that isn't the goal here. It is all about bringing the moderately received reboot to the franchise to the silver screen and now we have confirmation from Square Enix that someone wants to do it. Read More...

Time For The Incursion Into Battleborn's New Mode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Battleborn A new video for Battleborn has been released to show off the new Incursion mode for Battleborn that will have players slaying all over the place Here we go with yet another mode for Battleborn here. All of the heroes are out there so it looks like this is going to be what we get from here on out from Gearbox but that is perfectly fine with me. They do need to pad the media and updates for Battleborn to make sure it all lasts until May 3rd to keep us all interested. As if the badasses of the game weren't enough. Read More...

How Far We Have Come In The Franchise With Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of March 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Uncharted In preparation for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End there is a new video series to prep us and this one goes back to Uncharted’s roots to show us how the game has evolved Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End may have been delayed until May 10th but that doesn't mean the hype train has stopped rolling. In fact it looks like the schedule is still on track as it was before the delay as Naughty Dog is bringing us more behind the scenes that would have ended just before the official launch of the game. Either that or PlayStation's video team was too eager to give us a look at everything going on behind the curtain for Uncharted 4 and just wanted to get the word out there ASAP. Read More...

DOOM's Multiplayer Closed Beta Is Taking Us To Hell & Back
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of March 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
DOOM The dates for DOOM's multiplayer closed beta have been confirmed and it looks like fans of DOOM will be slaying each other in Hell very soon Looks like we all will be entering the brutal world of DOOM here soon as the multiplayer beta is only a few weeks out now. We are talking like a few weeks as it is currently slated to run from March 31st to April 3rd. At least if you picked up id Software's earlier title Wolfenstein: The New Order as it looks like Bethesda isn't fully ready to open the floodgates for DOOM's multiplayer to the world just yet. At least they are trying to work out some of the bugs earlier on than the week before unlike some other recent titles… As with all of these kinds of things this isn't going to be the full multiplayer mode coming to DOOM when it launches on May 13th. Rock Band 4 Getting Updates & Maybe Hardware As A New Publisher Joins
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of March 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Rock Band Harmonix, and in turn Rock Band, have entered a new co-publishing agreement that could me new Rock Band 4 features and new hardware to rock with If you were thinking that all you were going to get for Rock Band 4 as we pressed on was only going to be new tracks and minor updates to the game then you may have been right. It did seem that way as after the last major update it looked like Harmonix was kind of in a tough spot and just trying to stay afloat for all of the fans out there. Hells they are still working on a PC version of the game and don't forget Rock Band VR. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of March 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Overwatch The release date for Overwatch has been revealed and it looks like fans of Overwatch will get to have a bit of an early access to it Looks like the wait for Overwatch is going to be coming to an end here soon. We now have an official release date for the game and it looks like it is a lot sooner than many though that Blizzard would have it done by. None the less we can all be happy to see Overwatch landing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 24th. It is still a bit of the way out there but I am sure that the time will fly as we wait to give this game a solid go and a chance. Read More...

Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 Is Expanding The Battle Further
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of March 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Plants Vs Zombies The first free content update for Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is coming and it looks to bring much more to the Plants Vs Zombies world and gameplay Barely a few weeks out from the original launch of Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 and it looks like we are getting our first big update for the game. Just like the game before is looks like PopCap Games is still churning out all of new content we could ever want. Well that is a bit of a stretch as I am sure EA won't fund everything that would ever want but at least Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is getting a new big drop of content here on March 8th and for the low price of Free. Dying Light: The Following Is Getting Even More Content Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Dying Light Dying Light is getting even larger now as now with Dying Light: The Following we are getting four community maps to all of the platforms and not just PC Just when you thought that Dying Light: The Following couldn't get any larger on all platforms it looks like it is. Maybe you remember back when Techland offered up the developer tools to the PC community and modders went crazy making some awesome stuff? Remember when people like me speculated on if the console players would ever get to see these new maps being built? If you do or you don't it doesn't matter as it looks like Dying Light on the PS4 and Xbox One are now going to be getting some of these maps and we have the first four to look at. Read More...

Paragon Will Be Going Into 'Early Access' Real Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of March 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Paragon Paragon is heading to an early access stage and players can give Paragon or pay to make sure they keep all of their progress when the game fully launches The beta for Paragon is still going strong but it looks like there is a need for more players to access and help shape the game into what they want. Due to the latter there is looks like Epic Games is now taking Paragon into and 'Early Access' state where players will be able to pay to gain access but the bonus being that they won't lose anything when all is said and done. That and they will gain a whole lot of little extras to show off that they helped make this the MOBA to play on the PC and PS4. Read More...

The Battleborn Cast Is All Here Now With Last 2 Badasses
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of March 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Battleborn The last two characters for Battleborn have been revealed and now we know the full launch roster of heroes coming to Battleborn and their moves The final two characters for Battleborn have now been revealed and we can take in all of the 25 launch badasses coming to the game. Of course we finish off with these two as they are described as the most absurd that Gearbox has put together for the game. A luchador and an old robotics genius who is too lazy to do a thing. Sounds about right for Battleborn given all of the other characters in there already. Read More...

NightCry Is Looking To Terrify Sometime This Spring
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
NightCry After a nice little alpha demo of NightCry it looks like the development team is prepping for a Spring release for NightCry on the PC Last year we were able to see that NightCry was funded and in the works from Nude Maker studios. There was a lot of rejoice as many, myself included, loved the Clock Tower games that this was game was going to be building off even if it wasn't a direct sequel. As Kickstarter campaigns go of course we were all updated with a few things during the time of success and now and if some of those backers had been keeping a close eye they would have seen a nice little alpha slice of NightCry to have been played all last month. It looks like things went well and the feedback that was given was helpful as it looks like the PC build of NightCry is now well on its way to release in the next few months. Read More...
