Dishonored 2
A new gameplay video for Dishonored 2 has been released and it highlights all of the new ways in Dishonored 2 that we'll be able to kill our enemies
If you played the first title then you shouldn't be too surprised that Dishonored 2 is going to have a lot of creative ways to kill all of our enemies out there. Arkane Studios has already shown us a few ways in past videos for the game but it looked like things were about the same par as before. Of course that is never the case and now we have a good look at a lot of creative ways to murder people in Dishonored 2 through all of the powers and contraptions we will have when Bethesda gets around to publishing the game on November 11th. Not like they were going to forget or anything.
None the less, we have a nice long video of gameplay here that showcases at least four major ways to kill in Dishonored 2 but each one has a few deviations and other ways to be used. Especially when you mix in the new Domino power that Emily has in the game. That and the fact that we can link it to a clone of here so we can kill a whole lot of people with just one fake body and no one would ever see it coming. That is unless they bring out some mages that can actually see the Domino links and cut them before we can make them all jump up and off a tall building for fun.
Dishonored 2 — Creative Kills
Delilah, a mad witch armed with powerful black magic, has seized the throne from Empress Emily Kaldwin, leaving the fate of the Isles hanging in the balance. As either Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano, travel beyond the legendary streets of Dunwall to Karnaca – a once-dazzling coastal city that holds the key to restoring Emily to power. Armed with the mark of the Outsider and powerful new supernatural abilities, hunt down your enemies and forever alter the fate of the Empire.
While I do love all of the options that we have here to end our enemy's lives, I was pretty sure that this franchise was also about the stealth and quite game. So far we've seen a whole lot of action in Dishonored 2 and not as many silent kills I remember doing in Dishonored the first time around. Is this because the story that Arkane Studios has written isn't one for temperament or is the action just more appealing as marketing tools? I'm personally hoping for the latter here but I can easily see it swinging the other way. Someone does need to pay for taking the lands away from the murderous duo after all.
Was your take away on the new kills for Dishonored 2 the same as mine or do you see the fun factor getting a huge kick in the ass here? Do you think we'll have just as creative ways to kill everyone using just stealth or will it need to be flashy here? Do you also think that we could be getting better ways to not kill in the final game or will it be the usual sneak or talk your way out of it kind of thing? Let us know what you are thinking and discuss in the comments below. For all things Dishonored 2 be sure to stay right here as we'll keep the news and updates flowing as often as Bethesda wants to give them all out.
