We Will Have More To Overcome To Upgrade & Survive With In The Surge 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 31st of July 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
The Surge One more gameplay trailer for The Surge 2 is here to give us more of the city and other aspects to expect in The Surge 2 when it launches next month There looks to be even more to slice and dice in The Surge 2, as we have yet another trailer to take in and take a look around Jericho City before September 24th hits us. It definitely looks like Deck 13 is packing the game with everything they can and building off the last title. It even looks like The Surge 2 will have even more verticality than before based on the latest we have here today. Read More...

You Have A Friend In Zane Within Borderlands 3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of July 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Borderlands A new character breakdown for Borderlands 3 is here to give us more on Zane, the new vault hunter coming to Borderlands 3 We are finally getting a few more character videos and details for Borderlands 3. Today we have a new look at Zane the Operative and just what Gearbox is putting into this character to make him feel like a truly new vault hunter in the game but still have the feel for the franchise. That has to be one of those hard balancing acts and everything to do but so far it has seemed to shine for Borderlands 3. This could change based on how it all flows at launch but I doubt that will be the case before or after September 13th. Read More...

PlayStation Is Bringing A Few Mysterious Things To SDCC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of July 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
PlayStation PlayStation will have a new mystery item out at SDCC with some boxes that will house all the random PlayStation gear one could want PlayStation was missing at E3 and it looks like they may be sitting part of SDCC out too. At least when it comes to games and other things for that part of the company. Instead, we have word now that they will be out there but with some exclusive gear for con-goers to pick up while on the show floor. All stuff that you most likely could not get from the PlayStation Gear Store as it is listed that each will be limited to 500 pieces per exclusives. Read More...

Nintendo Is Striking SDCC Pretty Hard Again This Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of July 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Nintendo The Nintendo gaming lounge is coming back to SDCC this year and bringing all kinds of great Nintendo things for fans at the convention Almost a little late to the game, pun intended, it looks like Nintendo will be back at SDCC again with their gaming lounge and many other activities going on. Some out there were getting a bit worried that they would be skipping this year as there has been no word, but today we now have confirmation. Just a day before the convention kicks right off. Borderlands 3 Shows How We Will All Be Happy To Be Shooting Everything
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of July 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Borderlands A new trailer for Borderlands 3 is here to show much of nothing outside of the fun of killing together as always in Borderlands The tease we have had for Borderlands 3 is over as the new trailer is here as promised by Gearbox. A new trailer fresh off the heels of E3 and just a day before SDCC kicks off and… it is just more of a tease. Not in the way of something we will be seeing in the near future, outside of the game, but it is more or less a showing of the fun we can have in Borderlands 3 when playing with friends. September 13th will have us all doing that, sure, but I am going to guess it is not going to look as fun as it all does here. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/8/19 — 7/12/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of July 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week in the bag and onward to the next and what wonders it may hold for our video games. My guess is that it will have a light load for next week given that it is SDCC and most of it will be rehashed versions of things from E3. I just hope we get more of the positive news for our video games instead of the delays for Psychonauts 2 and very little for Shenmue III we had this week. Given how close Control is to launch, it would make sense that we see something else coming. Read More...

Cyberpunk 2077 Has Settled On Johnny Silverhand’s In-World Band
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of July 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Cyberpunk 2077 The in-world band for Cyberpunk 2077’s Johnny Silverhand is set and we have the first track we will hear on Cyberpunk 2077’s soundtrack Most of the world is still waiting for some new gameplay for Cyberpunk 2077, but that does not mean that we cannot have a few nice things before that actually rolls out to the public. That is, we have a new update for the game from CD Projekt RED and while it may not be any of the actual game footage, it will be something highlighted in the game directly. We now have a nice sample of things that will show up on the Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack due to the in-game band SAMURAI. Read More...

Meet More Of The Jeffs On Pandora In Borderlands 3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of July 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Borderlands A new series of videos for Borderlands 3 has started to flow out there giving us a look at the various planets we will explore in Borderlands 3 Get ready for a new wave of videos and updates for Borderlands 3, as it looks like our old friend Claptrap is setting out to present us with loads from each of the planets we will be exploring in the game. That is as at least based off the new videos that Gearbox is placing out there to help promote the game and give us all something to watch as we wait for September 13th to finally come and we can play on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. I guess some of us could just watch others play Borderlands 3 on the streams of other gamers, but where is the fun in all of that? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of June 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There goes one more great week in the world of video games for us all to enjoy and there was surprisingly a lot more than expected being after the big E3 weeks. We do all need to start prepping for the SDCC week so it makes more sense that we would start to see more for the Doctor Who VR game and Man Of Medan. Both titles that should be on a bit of a display out there among many other video games that should be on display. Read More...

The Surge 2 Cuts Us All Deep With Some New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
The Surge Gameplay for The Surge 2 is out here now with some developer commentary to explain what has changed for The Surge 2 since we last played We finally have some gameplay for The Surge 2 to take in and see more than the cinematic changes that have been placed into the game from Deck 13. I know all I have seen in the past for the game has been some fancy pre-rendered trailers but now we see all of the limb-slicing and robot dodging action that we should have expected for this franchise. That and how some of the new online features will work in The Surge 2. Something I am sure will cause some issues in the game, but it is what it is. Read More...

Take A Shot At The Big Apple In Hitman 2 Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman The first expansion for Hitman 2 is here as Hitman 2 takes us to the bank in the middle of New York right now If you have been hoping for more to do in Hitman 2 besides the community updates, then get ready to download your first big expansion for the game. It is currently available to download on your PS4, Xbox One, and PC as IO Interactive has added in a whole new location to kill targets in. In the middle of New York and inside of a Bank. Not the craziest sounding thing for Hitman 2, but that truly comes down to how we are going to go running around this secured location. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/17/19 — 6/21/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of June 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This week felt like such a catchup week for all things video games but I totally blame E3 for all of that. There was so much going on out there and it was rough making sure we were able to cover as much of it as we can. Especially with all of the big titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Final Fantasy VII Remake having a huge showing this year. It was also great getting to talk about video games like Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood and the upcoming Blair Witch title that seemed to pop up out of nowhere. Read More...

E3 2019 Impressions — Cyberpunk 2077
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of June 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Cyberpunk While at E3, I was able to see Cyberpunk 2077 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Cyberpunk 2077. The hype levels were off the charts for Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 this year. From the surprise announcement of characters during the Xbox Event to the announcement of the release date to the fifty-minute demo that was out there for the lucky few out there to experience from CD Projekt RED. The only thing not made available to the public as of yet being that new demo for Cyberpunk 2077. Something that was out to highlight more of the gameplay and the various ways we all can experience the game when it does finally hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 16th of 2020. Read More...
