Face More Of Your Fears With The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR

The Dark Pictures

The Dark Pictures will have even more stories coming for us all with the announcement for The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR

Another rollercoaster of terror is on the way to us all and for the PS VR2 when it is out there with the announcement for The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR. Another experience that Supermassive Games is bringing into the VR space based around their horror IP that is out there. Before it was for Until Dawn, for those that forget, and this one is obviously for The Dark Pictures Anthology. Just like the other title, too, it will be an on-rails shooter in the VR space but with a few different twists and turns added in than we could have expected from before. Maybe even a whole new story bit to enjoy out there too.

The basics of The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR have been laid out there, but the trailer we have does make it feel like there could be a bit more to it all. As we can see, we will have various elements from the current run of the anthology out there in the mix but it is hard to tell if it is going to be just part of the shooting gallery or reusing assets to add to the experience. Even with some of the levels in the mix feeling like they are pulled directly from the current run of games. Mostly, at least, but maybe they are keeping some of the bigger parts of The Dark Pictures hidden out there for the upcoming launch and others that have not played the games as of yet.
