Animal Farm Is Coming Into The Video Game World Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of August 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Animal Farm A video game version of Animal Farm is coming to us all and will help retell George Orwell’s Animal Farm for a new generation Another piece of literature is coming into the video game space as we now have confirmation that Animal Farm is in development for the PC this Fall. This is not some cute little simulator where you get to play as animals, but a retelling of the George Orwell piece that was an allegory for things much darker. All of which is being helmed by Nerial to try to help a new generation see the faults in the world in a different way. Much as the original Animal Farm tried to do back in the 40s. Read More...

Control Is Coming Back To Us Again In An Ultimate Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of August 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Control An Ultimate Edition for Control has been announced that will package Control with all of its DLC for all of the platforms out there So many have had a chance to play Control so far and with all of the DLC and updates that have come since launch. That is, at least those on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC not using Steam. It is an amazing game with a whole lot of fun content that holds up to the Remedy standards as I see it. Sadly, when you look at that list before, there are a lot of gamers out there that may have missed out on Control the first time around. Read More...

Hitman A new developer diary for Hitman 3 is here to highlight more for the Hitman VR we are going to get with the launch There was a huge bit of news when it was announced that Hitman 3 was going to bring the whole thing into a VR space. We had a little bit of gameplay there and IO Interactive said we would see a bit more in the future. Something that is a huge drive for me to head back into the World of Assassination besides just the basic gameplay in the franchise. Read More...

Review — Metamorphosis
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of August 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Metamorphosis We sit down and review Metamorphosis. A Kafka-inspired platformer where you are a bug. Here is our review of Metamorphosis It is time for a new first-person platforming-based title to enter the ring for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC with Metamorphosis. This would be the latest title to come out of Ovid Works and All In! Games that dives into some of Franz Kafka's works in terms of theme and mood while having us navigate the world in the body of an insect in a mix between the two worlds. Those who know the original book, The Metamorphosis, will have a better understanding of it all even if the game was only inspired and not a direct retelling of it all. Read More...

Yes, there will be more than just the assumed modes that generally go along with the TV and PPV entertainment that is brought to us. Saber Interactive and 2K Games would not have a solid title on their hands besides the other versions of the WWE we have seen in the past without this. Well, maybe they would given the fanbase, but here we get to see what else will be out there to draw in more than just the general fans and the gaming community at large. Read More...

Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty Will Soon Be Coming In Switch Flavor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of August 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Oddworld A Switch release for Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty is coming in October adding to the growing list of Oddworld titles on the platform The headline says a good chunk of it here, as Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty will be making its way over to the Nintendo Switch in October of this year. One of the more popular titles in the franchise that Oddworld Inhabitants has placed out there for various other platforms and now coming to the Switch. I am not all that surprised with all of their past Oddworld titles making the leap over as of late. Maybe this will point to the upcoming one also having a release on this platform too. Read More...

Hands-On — Marvel’s Avengers Beta
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of August 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Avengers Over the weekend, I was able to see Marvel’s Avengers Beta in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Marvel’s Avengers. The first beta wave for Marvel’s Avengers has come and gone and many PS4 gamers out there had a chance to actually lay hands on the current state of the game. It housed a good portion of campaign gameplay and the ability to go through many of the multiplayer modes we can expect when it launches on September 4th. Those who missed out, or plan on playing on the Xbox One or PC will be getting a chance this weekend, we are here to give you a feel for how Marvel’s Avengers all flows. Read More...

Cyberpunk 2077 Is Going To Take Us Down Some Long Life Paths
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of August 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Cyberpunk 2077 The next Night City Wire is here for Cyberpunk 2077 that shows off the weapons, music and different starting points we will have in Cyberpunk 2077 Never one to disappoint, we have the next big Cyberpunk 2077 info drop from CD Projekt RED to take in and it is another huge one. There is still a lot of time between now and November 19th and it is still shocking how much we are seeing for the game and how much more will still be hidden. More so when you have a look at how Cyberpunk 2077 will actually be giving us fully filled out life paths to start with that will do more than just define dialog options. In fact, they will give us all a different starting point in the game and challenges to get to where we have seen other parts take place. Read More...

The Ancient Gods Are Coming Soon For DOOM Eternal
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of August 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
DOOM The first single-player DLC for DOOM Eternal is coming and we will get to see the DOOM Slayer taking on some new areas in the universe It is no secret that we knew that DOOM Eternal was going to be getting some single-player DLC coming soon for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. We had some screenshots come out before to let us all know and now we are back with a new teaser trailer to see from id Software. It is a weird cycle we are going to be getting here for DOOM Eternal with so many teases that do not feel needed, but it is something new to see and keep us going, I guess. At least this new trailer we have does show we will be going to new areas in the universe and not just some recycled bits from before. Read More...

A Suicide Squad Game Is Coming For Us All In The Near Future
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Suicide Squad A tease for a Suicide Squad video game is here with one of the teams behind Suicide Squad that we have all loved from the universe before It is always nice when rumors get debunked only to prove other ones are real, as now we have a tease that a Suicide Squad game is on the way. On the way and coming from none other than Rocksteady Games. The ones that did Batman so well and were rumored to be working on a Superman title after they concluded that franchise. It looks like that one is the one that is debunked given that this word comes from an official Suicide Squad social account and the main Rocksteady one as well. Read More...
