Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was a week… and one that did not have as many video games to bring up, but so many things to talk about in all of the other realms. Dead By Daylight The Walking Dead is getting added to Dead By Daylight with the next big crossover event that Dead By Daylight will have The Fog is pulling in yet another IP to crossover into the Dead By Daylight space, and this time it is with The Walking Dead. An IP that just will not do at this point, with the same that can be said about the title that Behaviour has created out there. Maybe all for a good reason, as this will give us a bit more to play with on July 29th when it is pulled in. At least, pulled in by the way of two new Survivors for Dead By Daylight, a new skin that can add another, and then many of the iconic locations from the TV show version of The Walking Dead universe. Borderlands Let us take a walk on the new planet for Borderlands that we will be getting when Borderlands 4 launches out there We go beyond the usual lands out there with a new look at Borderlands 4. This time we are digging into the planet and world that Gearbox is making to keep the IP going. While I am sure it would have been cheaper for 2K if they just went back to the same locations, players would not really enjoy that. I know I would not have enjoyed that on September 12th when Borderlands 4 is slated to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. I am getting off topic, though, so let us take a stroll around Kairos and see who is running and the various factions we are going to need to fight or align ourselves with when the game hits. House Of The Dead Enter The House Of The Dead again with a partial release date for The House Of The Dead 2: Remake on a few platforms Let us all get shambling, as we have a new day to look at for The House Of The Dead 2: Remake to rise up and try to eat more of our brains. A little bit of a split release date, though I am sure that Megapixel Studio and Forever Entertainment have the right things in mind for it all. I say this, as it seems like the undead will only be roaming for us on the Switch and PC this coming August 7th. Shadow Labyrinth With the launch of Shadow Labyrinth almost here, a new platform is opening the doors for Shadow Labyrinth We are almost there with the launch of Shadow Labyrinth with the game landing on July 18th still. That is why it is an interesting announcement to get now from Bandai Namco that we have another platform for the game to land on and be pre-ordered for. Damned One last playtest for Damned 2 is on the way and ready to give us a taste of what Damned 2 will hold before it launches It has been a longtime coming, and now we see some light at the end of the tunnel for Damned 2. After seeing many other asymmetric horror games come and go, it is finally time for 9heads Games Studios to see if it is going to hold up. At least, on August 7th when the full game hits the PC and then down the line when it opens up to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Tony Hawk Officer Dick is coming back to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and he is bringing a friend for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 It looks like more fun is on the way for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 with Officer Rick taking up a board and shredding with the greats out there. A character that would have been odd to not see Iron Galaxy Studios and Activision not bring in, as he has been a staple in so many of the titles over the years. All the way back to the origins of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater when it first last, if my memory serves. The only difference is that this one has a new and maybe better design for the character. Little Nightmares The release of the next Little Nightmares is on the way with a new look at a new area of Little Nightmares III we will explore It is time to get further excited for Little Nightmares III, as we have a new look at the game to offer up a different kind of ride we are going to be taking out there. At least, a ride that some of us will be taking out there with Supermassive Games giving us the release date of October 10th for this dark title. A perfect time for a game like Little Nightmares to land out there, and now with a dark carnival area that we will need to explore on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Gloomy Eyes A new cozy horror title, Gloomy Eyes, is officially announced with Gloomy Eyes offering up some new self-co-op play We are always on the lookout for some new, and strange horror titles around here, and I think Gloomy Eyes might just be one to scratch some itches around here. No, this is not going to be some massive and gore-filled title that one might expect, but a new title on the way from Fishing Cactus and Untold Tales to offer us all a sweet little treat in the mix. With Gloomy Eyes taking more of a whimsical approach to things, with terms like Little Nightmares meets Tim Burton being tossed around here. Borderlands The story of Borderlands 4 is here to pull us all in and give us a different feeling for how Borderlands will flow It looks like the powers that be for Borderlands 4 want to make sure we are all under thumb and willing to comply with everything that is being dictated to us. No, we are not talking about how Gearbox and 2K are going about making sure you buy the game on or before September 12th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In this instance, we are talking about the new villain that is popping up in the universe of Borderlands and trying to make us rise up against all the bullshit they are pumping out there. Dead By Daylight A new Killer for Dead By Daylight is stalking us all with Dead By Daylight also crossing over with Five Nights At Freddy’s It feels like this crossover should have happened a long time ago, but here with are with Dead By Daylight finally dipping its toes into the Five Nights At Freddy’s universe. Almost like the perfect time for Behaviour to do all of this with the recent release of the next big title in the FNaf universe dropping just last week. Mouse There is an announcement for Mouse: P.I. For Hire that offers up the voice talent bringing our Mouse to life Here we go with another fun update for the rubber-hose animated title of Mouse: P.I. For Hire. One that feels like it would be right in the same space as all of the other titles out there using public domain IP, but Fumi Games looks to be just using the style of the art to help drive the fun of the game forward. Mortal Kombat Get ready to fight with all of the Mortal Kombat titles coming back at us with the announcement for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection Many more blasts from the past seem to be making their way out to us after the recent State Of Play, and here we go with the announcement for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection. A new collection of titles in the IP that Digital Eclipse is bringing together with all of the permission from the founders of it all. Final Fantasy Final Fantasy fans are going to be getting yet another blast from the past with the announcement for Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles Another classic case of something that started out as a rumor and now is a real thing, with the announcement for Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles. A remaster and enhancement from the classic title that Square Enix dropped out there back in 1997, and many tactical RPG gamers have been waiting for it to come back.
