Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Here we go wrapping another week in video games with things being a bit of a roller coaster for it all again. Things started out a bit on the slow side, but then The Quarry and Hello Neighbor 2 came rushing out with a whole lot to check out. MADiSON The release date for MADiSON is now set down and we can all expect to see what horrors MADiSON holds soon It has been a ride and a wait for MADiSON to finally get out to us, and now we have a timeline to look at for the release. Bloodious Games is still working hard on the game, but Perp Games is ready to tell us when the horrors will start to invade our minds. If you are looking to get MADiSON on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or PC, you will be able to dive in on June 24th. Wonderlands We sit down and review Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. A trip back into the fantasy lands of the Borderlands. Here is our review of Wonderlands Sometimes DLC falls flat and sometimes DLC takes off and becomes its own thing, which is the case we have here for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Not that we are seeing Gearbox slap on some DLC from past titles, but taking an idea that so many loved and giving us all a full game instead of a small segment to it all. All of which would be a gross simplification of what Wonderlands actually is, but someone needed a good intro here, Bay Bay!. Hood A new update for Hood: Outlaws & Legends is here to all for all platforms to have a cross-platform experience with our Hood characters It was as good of a time as any, and now the next update for Hood: Outlaws & Legends is here just as the game heads out for the PlayStation Plus subscribers. I am sure that it had nothing to do with it at all, but the time is great for Sumo Digital to get it out there as it allows for players on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC to play the game and squad up no matter how they are playing it. Now that there should be a mass of new players coming into Hood, this should give the game a little more of an explosion and fun for all to have. Read More...

Underworld The Underworld Dreams anthology is kicking off this Spring with the launch of Underworld Dreams: The False King Underworld Dreams: The False King is offering us all one smaller tease here as we get ready for the pending release on the PC and Switch, a release that has always been a bit nebulous on when we could expect it. Now it is sounding as if Drop Of Pixel and Skystone Games are looking to drop it this Spring for those platforms. Cub We will be taking on a mutant cub in the recently announced title of The Cub If you have ever wondered how things would have ended in The Jungle Book if there would have also been an apocalypse too, let me introduce you to The Cub. This is the next title in the line of games from Demagog Studio and Untold Tales that is going to be giving us something along those lines. No, we are not going to see all of those classic characters in a Mad Max setting, even if that would be cool, but The Cub will tell us all a story that follows those lines but the boy we are guiding is a mutant left behind on a rotting planet. Now the ultrarich that abandoned the planet are back to find out how they can use this youngling to their advantage and find out how he has become immune to the perils of the world out there. Star Wars More of the Star Wars saga is being fleshed out there with the dark side in the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Some could say that the Dark Side users in the Star Wars IP has been at the forefront of the entire saga so far. Some could while others will lean into the Light side a bit more and give us all a bit of hope. With TT Games and what we will be seeing on April 5th here, it looks like they are adding some lightness into their Dark Side when it comes to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. It does retell the full run of the core films with the LEGO humor, and now we have a bit of a showing of how that will bleed into the more villainous of characters out in this universe. Read More...

Vampire The RPG elements of Vampire: The Masquerade will be very present in the new title Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong I hope by now that you know that Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong is based on a tabletop and Live Action RPG system out there. It has been around for decades now and Big Bad Wolf is definitely trying to introduce more gamers to the IP on May 19th when the game hits the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. New and old fans of Vampire: The Masquerade will be glad to see that we are getting more of the RPG elements mixed in even if some of them will be harder to mix into the video game space. Thankfully, with the latest that we have, it looks like they are diving deeper in and linking in the various systems to give us multiple ways to bring the story to its end. Read More...

Paradise We are heading back into twin-stick paradise with the latest announcement for Slaycation Paradise We are heading back into a new kind of paradise this year with the announcement of the next twin-stick and tower-defense title that Merge Games is getting behind. A new title that will be hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC at some point during 2022. A new title that also happens to be called Slaycation Paradise and the title slightly gives away what the game will be about. Vampire The gameplay for Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong is finally here to show us how we will experience this new Vampire story There have been a few showings of smaller gameplay segments for Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong from Big Bad Wolf since it was announced, but here we are with the next massive information dump for the game. Given that it is still slated to hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on May 19th, I would say it is about high time to see the game in more of a motion than we have had.
