A Plague Tale
A new story trailer for A Plague Tale: Requiem is here and it looks like there is a whole lot more going on in the world of A Plague Tale
Just when you thought that we all knew the story we were going to get for A Plague Tale: Requiem, we get a new video shared that seems to change things up a bit. That is where we are once more with Asobo Studio as they expand out what we are going to experience out there. All as if further explains how the kids made it through the events after A Plague Tale: Innocence and set out to figure out how to keep Hugo alive and well. Even if that might be the biggest issue in the lands out there in this story. I guess we will see on October 18th when it hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.
For those that want to see a bit more gameplay for A Plague Tale: Requiem and have a few spoilers for the game's story too, you can see the video just a bit lower. It looks like the plague itself is tied directly to Hugo now and it is taking a toll on his health too. This is why the crew is setting out to make it to a different land for some kind of cure to it all. It seems like it will end the plague, the rats, and keep Hugo alive too. That does make it seem like it could be the end of A Plague Tale if that is the case. Maybe it will somehow leave things open in the mix at the end too.
A Plague Tale: Requiem — Story
A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to the critically acclaimed A Plague Tale: Innocence by Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment, just unveiled more narrative elements in a Story Trailer.
As Amicia and Hugo set out to find a mysterious island in the hope of ending the curse which runs through Hugo’s blood, they find themselves having to rely on the help of the people they meet. Walking into foreign territory, the young De Runes are unlikely to make it alone… but how much trust can they place in strangers? The answer seems as uncertain as the island is beautiful and terrifying.
A Plague Tale: Requiem releases October 18 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and in Cloud Version on Nintendo Switch. The game will also be available on Day One with Xbox Game Pass for Console, PC, and Cloud.
