Go Behind The Scenes For Some New Gameplay For A Plague Tale: Requiem

A Plague Tale

One last behind-the-scenes video for A Plague Tale: Requiem is here to offer up a look at the new gameplay features added in since A Plague Tale: Innocence

If you need to see a bit more gameplay for A Plague Tale: Requiem, then you will be glad to see that we have a little more to look at here. Some of it is the same we have had many times over up to now, but this time we have Asobo Studio dropping some new knowledge on us as to what is going on. All of this is something we will need to know before October 18th when A Plague Tale: Requiem hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Given that the tone and actions of the gameplay will be shifting quite a bit more than the stealth and survival we had in the first place. All in the best of ways that we get to see here.

Given that Amicia has been battle-tested a bit more, this all makes a bit more sense for A Plague Tale: Requiem. Amicia will have a new crossbow and other gear to add to the sling we have used many times before. This will have us all a bit more on the attack than we could have thought while also trying to figure out the best ways to use everything to make it through. It does look like we will have to make many quick swaps to some of the gear in A Plague Tale: Requiem to make sure we can bring some of the armored guards down. That is if we want to make sure we do not run out of one kind of ammo in the game, though. You could always just shoot a fire arrow to make them drop their shield and then another into their eyes. But that could just be for those that have no worry about managing all of that.

A Plague Tale: Requiem — Creator Talks Ep 4: Gameplay

In this fourth and final In Focus episode dedicated to A Plague Tale: Requiem, join Asobo Studio’s Kévin Choteau (Game Director), Kévin Pinson (Lead Level Designer) and David Dedeine (Creative Director) in a talk hosted by French streamer Maghla about why and how gameplay has been expanded since A Plague Tale: Innocence, and get glimpses of which new features you can expect in this ambitious sequel to the critically-acclaimed game.

A Plague Tale: Requiem releases October 18 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and in Cloud Version on Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders are available now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game will also be available Day One with Xbox Game Pass (Console, PC, and Cloud).

Are you excited to see that we will have to go on the offense in A Plague Tale: Requiem or were you looking for another stealth game? Will the various ammo types be limited again in the game or will we be able to make as many as we want during the run? Will there be a real reason to swap out the ammo in the game or will that only be for those that want to conserve the specifics out there? Give us all of your thoughts on this down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. We will have more for A Plague Tale: Requiem up to and past the launch, so please keep an eye on the site for all of that. Maybe we will have a bit to play for a stream too…
